Sweet

OH my what a delightful story! One that is definitely enjoyable, its a fantastic story that has awesome characters with great chemistry. The story has some sad but exciting, sometimes thrilling and of course some unusual romance! There is a part that will bring a frown to your face along with some a unusual element, but their relationship is such a delight and so incredible to read. Even the secondary characters are great. There is one thing I wish for and that is more to the ending. But overall this is a sweet romance which l greatly enjoyed.

Better than the first book in the series

I could really feel the chemistry between the hero and heroine in this book. The slow build of their relationship felt more realistic than in the first book. It was also nice to see physical attraction without sex on the page in a contemporary romance that didn’t have a religious element.

Shape Up to Love

I finished the book but about five chapters before in end, I decided I didn't care for Melissa. She was a volatile character given to some abusiveness. I enjoyed Nick's character but her desired interest in Michelle was not compatiable. she was mean to Derek and Nick. So I got tired of it and the book lost my interest.

Great Sequel Reading

My recommendation, read book 1 before this one. I truly enjoyed this book. Maybe it was enjoyable because I knew the characters from book 1 and reading more about them made the plot easier to connect.

friendship to relationship

I like how their friends made it possible for the two to meet. Melissa helped Nick to get in shape physically but all the time mentally they both were getting into shape. Great love story.

So cute!

I really loved this story! It seemed very realistic and I felt the characters' emotions. I wish the ending was fleshed out a little more but all in all, I recommend it.

Slave driver

I enjoyed reading this book. It was cute and extremely clean. I did notice some spelling errors throughout which should have been caught in editing.Mel was a piece of work. She definitely whipped Nick into shape. I liked Nick and his calm. It was nice to have an update on Ida and Parker as well.

Yeah, its a wrap for me. I'm more than half way in and I feel absolutely Zero chemistry between these two. A good friendship but that's about it. Plus, if you haven't read previous books, and I haven't, it's hard to stay with the primary story. A LOT of backstory of Ada and her foster sons. Which actually sounds more interesting that of Melissa and Rick.

Great Read!
This was a fun little Asian Men Black Women (AMBW) read. She owns a gym and hired to help an overweight doctor lose weight. There are lots of little twists, turns, and funny moments as the two fight their attraction throughout the story. I recommend thin BWAM romance.

I love to read AMBW novels and this author always delivers a great love story.
This was a fresh original get-to-know-you story that I loved every minute of.
HEA.
No cliffhangers.
Fun.
Clean.
Good to the last word!
