Sticky Situations: Stories of Childhood Adventures Abroad

Rate this book
A unique collection of autobiographical stories of life overseas as the daughter of a CIA agent. Surviving eleven years of living in Europe and Southeast Asia, Leigh Rogers grabs the reader's attention with entertaining, witty and insightful accounts of the adventures and "sticky situations" she and her family experienced. "I was a teenager when I found out what my father "really" did for a living... I finally discovered the truth when I overheard my mother asking my father whether our "phones were being tapped." I could not believe my ears! Did she just ask if our phones were tapped? My father answered, 'Yes, I'm afraid so.'"
