This is a good overview of Tuscany. I particularly appreciated the photos (gorgeous!), the chapter on food with its terminology, and the chapter on gardens. On shopping and hotels, it would have been great to get a wider array of options. It was very designer, high-end oriented, which is good to know about, but some lower-key, more affordable options would be appreciated.

Beautiful coffee table book but the book is outdated as far as the suggestions and recommendations.

Fun to leaf through, but yet another book where the author gushes that everything in Italy is divinely delicious or outrageously beautiful, or both. Surely she gets a stone in her shoe from time to time...
