Following the events of volume two, the Love Angels set forth to save Yousuke. But it’s not without a battle first as Pluie has them trapped in. However, through the power of love, the Love Angels are able to break free while Pluie accepts his demise as punishment from Reine DeVila. And yet, something strange happens with Yousuke and a new demon enters the battle?!

The plot is starting to pick up including the details surrounding the Saint Something Fours. Although it seems to be rushed with the details randomly thrown in without any further clarification. This makes the flow of the story and dialogues feel awkward at times. That said, I’m glad we got some answers and I think I could give it a pass because it’s a short series.

This volume makes it evident that Momoko and Yousuke do have feelings for each other. I really adore their relationship because it has a gentleness to it that stems from understanding but also contains a playful angry side. Their feelings developed quite quickly but it’s hard to dispute because they really are cute together.

That said, Momoko’s character is more fleshed out in this volume. It’s evident she’s very emotional and easily influenced by the feelings of love around her. However, she also panics quickly when those she cares about are hurt. Yuri and Hinajiku are Momoko’s anchors because they help her with clear rationale and guidance. Their characters unfortunately don’t expand in this volume but I expect them to have more active roles in the next due to the ending of this volume.

The artwork is similar to the previous volumes. It’s detailed, expressive and beautiful, yet lacks engaging action scenes. The action feel quite underwhelming so I wish they were a little more interactive with better choreography.

Overall, this was a good addition to this series and it looks like we’ve moved on to our next villain. Secrets and answers are starting to unravel which is helping the plot. I’m looking forward to reading the next volume as it’s starting off with a fight!

The Love Angels eventually are able to defeat their obstacles and save Yosuke! Not only that, but after Pluie has trapped them all in that place, they are able to break free from his curse after he meets his demise by his own mistress. But something is off, especially with Yosuke...
And as the Love Angels progressively become stronger, as do the demons. Playtime is over, and the Love Angels can't be just good anymore, they have to smart, powerful, elite, and quick. They must find all of the sacred four-somethings before the demons do! They've now found not only the second of the sacred four-somethings, but Lily has figured out what the sacred four-somethings are! They are something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue!

Well, it took me about two weeks to finish this with my busy schedule, but as always, it uplifted my spirits any time that I did sit down to read it. I read it in three parts, mostly equally distributed each time. I read the entire first half on April 16th, then didn't get around to finishing it until April 23rd and 24th...
Anyway! I'll do my best to review all that I can remember. (I really need to start taking notes on what I want to write about in my review as I think of them while reading. Because by the time I get to my review, I've forgotten nearly all that I wanted to say in my review and 13% of it is bs and the rest is just ramblings.)
SO. It seems that Yosuke and Momoko are falling in love with each other even more, and wonderfully, they both fell in love at the same time, and they're both going at the same pace. I love it when I see completely equal things like this but with the proper dynamics thrown in there as well. It makes me so happy. And see, if Momoko wasn't a Love Angel, this would be just puppy love. But because of all that they have already been through, and all that they will go through together, it has and will continue to cause their love to form into something as exciting as puppy love, but something with far different meaning and something with a much more unbreakable bond.
On another note, Pluie is really dead? Wow. I mean.. Wow. All these years, because of where I left off, I didn't know he died, and especially so soon. I figured he'd make it to the end like Kisshu from Tokyo Mew Mew. And he died without wavering his ways, he was loyal to his master and to who he was, even with Peach showing him love and compassion. In a way, it was sad, but in another way, it was admirable.
This manga is reminding me more and more of some anime... Sailor Moon (especially with the appearance of the new demon), Tokyo Mew Mew, and with our new character male character..Shugo Chara.
This volume, like each volume thus far, was crammed full of hidden meanings and hidden scenarios. The more I read the easier they are to see. If this series had a better art style and appealed more to the times, it could be a classic with all the countless layers that it has. But nobody has really taken the time to analyze it thoroughly. Perhaps someday I will.
There is so much I could say, so much that I want to say. But I have been so lazy on that because books are no longer my priorities. My school and my love is. Sadly, it doesn't leave much room for books anymore, especially not for analyzing them or for making reviews of them. But these are still like my online diaries, so I like it, and that's only one of the many reasons I'll keep doing this.
Perhaps one day I'll re-analyze all this and take notes as I go, but for now, just know that this book is worth reading. It's an amazing series that won't seem so on the surface, but underneath, everything is there. All of the answers are there if you look deep enough.
Lastly, something I do want to add. How did Lily and Daisy become Love Angels in the anime? Because it seems that Lily and Daisy are only Love Angels in the manga because they were the two people closest to Momoko, as in, they loved her the most and she loved them the most out of all their friends. So, the power of love chose them to be her teammates so that she won't have to fight alone. It's a beautiful concept, and very original compared to some magical girl series, but why? I know why. It is yet more hidden meaning behind so many things. Love, friendship, life, and much more. And ohh, I love Momoko and Yosuke. I want to see them kiss! Please! I know they're young, but come on! And when does Yosuke transform? When does the fourth Love Angel appear? I've heard of these and I've seen pictures. It happens! I'm waiting!
