I spend my time staring into a computer screen whether working, writing, or editing. That’s why it’s so fun to hang out with my grandson, children, or walk outside. But burning easily makes it difficult to spend much time outdoors.
I come from a family of writers: my mom, my grandmother, and several other family members. When I'm not at the computer writing or editing, I'm discussing plots with any one of my children.
I do ask the advice of my cats. They have good ideas. The world holds a variety of sinister plots even if it is just someone waiting for the bus.

Customer Testimony
Even with extreme pain and limited mobility, God used these books to encourage, remind, teach, give hope, and draw me closer to Him. I loved these books!
I saw parts of my life in them as well as other women, and how to deal with life problems Anna tells(teaches) in these stories. God has used Anna to spur Christians on and draw non-believers to God and our Lord Jesus Christ!
Violet is a kindergarten teacher that believes one of her students is being abused by his parents. After hearing a presentation by a handsome social worker, she realizes that her student is being endangered by methamphetamines.
Can this timid teacher find a way to save this child before it is too late? With the help of her bible study group the Planted, she gets closer to understanding God’s teachings and her role, which allows her to find the strength to be bold and save a child.
This is the third book in the Christian suspense series, Planted Flowers. As with the other books in the Planted series, this is more than just a book of mystery and romance. The underlining story has to do with finding faith, strength, understanding, and support while gaining a deeper relationship with God and his teachings.

Short, sweet, intensive; all describe these books. Although I feel as though I've read them out of order, the books are contemporary with each other and it doesn't change the message each one gives. These strong Christians helping each other and others to find their way to GOD's plan for their lives is so inspiring. In Violet, the subject of child abuse is explored. Compassionate, loving, shy Violet, a teacher caught up in the evil of drug deals, makes a courageous stand for a child in her class. Warm loving friends in the PLANTED group are there to help, but in the end, Violet makes her choice to help this child in a practical way. Thanks to GOD for prayer! I have loved every book that I've read in this series. Thank you, Ms Payne, for such endearing, uplifting books.

Violet had to deal with a difficult situation that could have potentially ruined her chances of teaching anywhere. Teachers have hard jobs and spiteful coworkers make a hard job more difficult. Rose's situation is concerning and seemingly getting worse. Through all of Violet's issues, she found time to reach out to her new friend. I enjoyed reading Violet's story and look forward to the remaining women. This is a quick read. There are some editing issues, like principle was used instead of principal, but I found the story engaging, despite the issues. Your heart will break for Paulie and all those he represents.
Triggers: drug abuse, child neglect, child abuse, domestic violence (none are explicit, but signs infer).

Child Abuse, Meth Labs and God's Grace This is a faith-filled novella about God's Grace protecting us and directing us. The story is a good police drug bust wrapped around faith and God's Promise. The plot is tight and well executed. The characters are deep and realistic. I received this ARC book for free and voluntarily chose to post my honest review.
This story shows the depths of love and protection teachers show for their students. This story brings out the dangers of drugs on our children and what teachers are called on to combat the abuse on these children. I was given a complimentary copy of this book and chose to give an honest review.
