Delicious and hot, the seductive Bayfront Billionaires need one thing, and one thing only: the woman made for them, the one woman on earth who can complete their trio of passion and desire.
Lily Hart has taken a temporary position as a live-in butler for billionaire musicians Jackson Sterling and Lexington Alexander. She expected to be on call day and night. But what she did not plan for was that these two billionaires would be as handsome as sin and hell-bent on having her in their bed. Entirely skilled at the art of seduction, they make Lily burn for pleasure in ways she never knew she could.
Jax and Lex have been waiting for a muse, and when breathtaking, sensuous Lily arrives on their doorstep, they know she’s the woman to join them in the seductive web the three of them weave. But passion between three can end in flames, and Lily, Jax, and Lex must decide—is opening their hearts worth the risk?

This one was just OK for me. I'm not one to have an issue with dead exes, but Katarina's shadow was WAY too prominent in this book. I mean she was the whole reason they were making this special CD and they hadn't shared a woman since she died 7 years previous.
On top of that, the first 60% of this one was rather slow, with the last 40% moving at the speed of light. One minute they are still all heartbroken over Katarina. The next they are telling Lily they love her.
Also, the whole "female butler" thing was weird to me. She wore a butler outfit complete with white gloves to serve them food and plump their pillows. No offense to anyone pursuing the time-honored profession of butlerhood, but there just isn't anything remotely sexy about a butler! *lol*
I have mixed feelings on this book, it's slow to get going and considering this is a ménage book (I felt the cover was misleading since it only shows one guy) it's well into the second half before they actually get together. I liked the three main characters and the scenes with them together worked well, I struggled to get my head around the butler part (and I'm British) but the main problem for me was Katarina, it's a personal dislike of mine to have an ex feature so heavily and here she was like a dark cloud hanging over them all and that spoilt the book for me. Like I said this is a personal dislike of mine and if I'd realised I just wouldn't have started this book. Having said that I would have liked more, after the slow start the ending seemed somewhat rushed and even though I knew the book was winding down I was still surprised it ended so quick.
-Ménage. Woot! Look, what’s better than a dick? Two dicks, and they’re all for you...I mean the heroine. Fun times, people. -Novella. For when you need a tasty treat and don’t have the time for a full length novel. -Classical. In prose and music, this novella feels a bit ethereal, mostly formal and a tad more flowery than I expected. Yes, at first I thought they would be rock star billionaires instead of classical musicians, and that vibe translates to the whole book. They live in a rarefied world of 24 hour butlers and sumptuous mansions near San Francisco. Even their dialogue felt formal, as if it belonged to another era. -Needed… Hmmm. I think it just needed a bit more time spent on dialogue, which can make up for the fact that there was big sections of time that needed to be condensed. Even in a novella, I need that kind of connection through dialogue and this was lacking that. The characters were fine, if a bit underdeveloped and interchangeable. I might have enjoyed this more if I had read the earlier books, as there is some time introducing past characters that kind of ate into time that could have been spent letting these three actually talk to each other.
The Bottom Line 2 stars It was ok. I probably would have liked it more if I had read the earlier books, but if you’re an opera fan and like that vibe in a menage, this may work for you.

I had a bit of trouble connecting with this story. For me, Lily being a butler and dressing so rigidly as a butler and how professional all three were with each other was a barrier for me. When the flirting truly started it seemed out of place. For me, this was such a short story that if we had more pages/time to make the flow from profession to unprofessional, I think it would have helped. Overall, the writing was good, just too short for a proper flow. I would certainly read more from this author. ARC provided by NetGalley.
This is my first time reading a book by Calista Fox. Seduction is an erotic novella filled with sexual tension. A musical menage with only one (steamy) sex scene.
I think it just needed more dialogue, especially since it’s such a short read and there’s not much room to get to know the characters. That’s even harder when you have to heroes in the story! The author doesn’t rush to get things going between them, keeping a steady pace.
I liked this novella. It was sexy, had a good closure, but there wasn’t a huge conflict and was predictable. It ends with a HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This book was okay. There wasn't anything that really kept my attention or a wow factor. It didn't get interesting until pass 60% and then I was rushing to get through it. I liked the main characters but the story wasn't all that interesting by the end. The relationship between the three of them was the only thing I really liked about this story. However, I felt like the cover and description makes the book sound sexier than it was (I mean it was but not as raunchy as I thought it would be). I think this book had a lot of potential but fell flat for me in the end.
I received this ARC via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
A female butler is definitely an interesting choice for a heroine! As expected, there are some sexy scenes in this menage romance novella. Having the two main male characters named Jax and Lex made for a bit of confusion for me (the names were too similar, I kept mixing up who was who). As Jax and Lex are still grieving the loss of their previous female partner, Lily is right to be cautious about getting emotionally involved with them. This is an insta- lust/insta-love story with minimal conflict and a happy for now ending. A quick and easy read.

Seduction is a nice introduction to a new series. Lily comes from a long line of professional butlers and she's just been hired for a temporary position as a butler for two classical musicians - Jackson "Jax" Sterling and Lexington "Lex" Alexander. From the very beginning, she's attracted to both men and the feeling is obviously mutual. But, she has a job to do, and she's unsure if she wants to jeopardize that job for what would have to be a temporary fling with the two gorgeous men.
When they propose an interesting arrangement, though, to be their muse while they finish up on their collaborative CD that they have been falling behind on, things start to heat up between the 3. Lily is everything both Jax and Lex could possibly want: she's beautiful, sensual, kind, and most of all, she really understands the soul of their music. But, can she possibly compare to the woman who is the cause of all their pain? The woman they had both been in love with 7 years before, and lost? Lily doesn't think she can compare, doesn't even want them to draw comparisons.
I like all three characters, and think their chemistry is hot, if not at a slow burn, but I do think Seduction is too short to have done their relationship the justice it deserves. It's not fully fleshed out, so I missed a little of the connection I could have found, had there been sufficient time for it to be fully developed. I also would have liked an epilogue so that we could have a peek into what happened in their future. Other than the too short length and the slightly underdeveloped story, I enjoyed Seduction and its three main characters.
I received an ARC through NetGalley for an honest review.
Seduction is the first book that I have read by Calista Fox even though she has been writing since 2004, I'm not sure why that is but I am very glad I was given the opportunity to read and Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Seduction: A Bayfront Billionaire Novella (Bayfront Billionaire #2) by Calista Fox
Seduction is the first book that I have read by Calista Fox even though she has been writing since 2004, I'm not sure why that is but I am very glad I was given the opportunity to read and Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
Lily has been hired to be the personal butler for both Jax and Lex on a temporary basis. Lily is thrilled to be hired because not only can she use the money that she will be paid for this two month contract but she is also a fan of their music. It had never even occurred to Lily that there would be anything other than a professional relationship between them, but once each of the men meet Lily they are craving more of her, and she is fantasizing about both of them.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Jackson (Jax) Sterling, Lily Hart, and Lexington (Lex) Alexander. While it took some time for their relationship to begin you could definitely feel the heat that was simmering just waiting to turn to a full boil.
Steamy!! When music not only touches the soul deep down but also touches the body then it's an amazing thing. Add to that two gorgeous billionaire musicians who want to use you as their muse and more and you have a beautiful love story although unusal is more ways than one.
When Lily takes a butler position for two musical prodigies she finds herself touched very deeply by the beautiful and haunting quality of their music. She can hear and feel their pain in the music. When she actually sees them for the first time she has trouble collecting her breath, doing her job, and keeping the obvious attraction she feels for them from her face.
Lex and Jax are trying to put together a new Cd and they just cannot get their flow right and the music is suffering because of it. When they meet Lily and she captivates both of them they find themselves producing music like they want it to sound. So they make Lily a proposition she doesn't want to refuse.
Can Lily compete with a ghost from the past though?

3.5 Stars 'Seduction: A Bayfront Billionaire' Novella by Calista Fox is the story of by Lily, Lex and Jax. This was a hot, easy novella read. Lily has taken a butler job and was hired for them so she had not officially met them yet. Lex and Jax are working on a new CD that has a personal history to it. But they are hitting a mental road block. But that seems to let up some when they start a fascination with Lily and it turn she has one with them. This story did have a Cinderella feel at points. The brother's also had a issue that they were dealing with that made it a little emotional. Overall I liked this book and will look for more books by Ms. Fox. "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
There's no way I can review and express myself without some minor spoilage. While I will try to minimize it, I will flag the pertinent bits as best I can.
Lily meets and works for Lex and Jax Aside from the tidbit contained in the spoiler, the pacing is off. It starts off slow and vague then goes into rushed but still remains vague. We don't get the opportunity to get to know anything of value about the characters. Lily had a cool profession and really that's all that I felt was unique about her. Lex and Jax made a sexy enough picture in their intimate scenes but offered nothing outside of those moments, in my opinion. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but I can tell you that it wasn't what I got. Perhaps someone else will see something I didn't. Safety: No rape or abuse. Yes to sharing. MFM sex.
Sometimes picking up a new-to-me erotic romance author feels like playing Russian roulette. There's a lot of stuff out there that's coercive or badly edited or just plain dumb. I am 1000% behind some sexytimes, but if it's erotic romance and not just erotica, I've got to have a plot beyond simple bonking. So I was very pleased with Calista Fox's MFM sexy contemporary, Seduction.
Liliana Hart has gone to work as a butler to two wealthy musicians who have known each other since they were child prodigies together. Lex and Jax have shared a woman in the past and they are working on releasing their first CD together since parting ways. There's some overarching tension between them that isn't fully explained until late in the book. The reason kept me guessing, but not in an annoying way. While the story is built around the burgeoning relationship, each member of the triad has grief to work through, giving it a hint of depth that was just right for this novella.
Despite being employed by the two eccentric performers, Lily can't help but be attracted to them. The three of them circle each other for 60% of the book, but it didn't seem repetitive or far-fetched. They manage to navigate a sexual relationship without making it seem sketchy that they're her bosses. So it's a slow-ish burn, but there was enough tension to keep me engaged.
Finally, where some ménage romances end up being all about jealousy or worrying about what the world will think of their relationship, there is absolutely zero reference to any of that in this book. It was refreshingly normal for a threesome to come together like they did. They even have acquaintances who are already in a triad and no one seems especially shocked, always a good thing in my book. Plus, for those who are tired of BDSM, there is none. Just good, old-fashioned, sexy threesome sex.
Seduction isn't especially ground-breaking, epic or unusually sexy (though the sex that's had is very hot), but it's a good, solid, hot contemporary in a market where it's sometimes hard for me to find new authors I enjoy. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more Calista Fox in the future.
Wow! Super steamy menage! What a treat! I was enjoying the story so much then it was over! I am a sucker for Billionaires and I love menage stories so I wanted much, much more!
Lily takes a temporary job as a live-in butler for two famous musicians. She needs the money to fulfill her dream of a trip to Paris and the continent. She wasn't expecting both men to be so handsome and for her reactions to each one. She's expected to be at their beck and call and soon she's the meat in the middle of a hot boy sandwich!
Jax and Lex are collaborating on a new CD in honor of their late girlfriend. Things aren't going as smoothly as they would like. Something is missing. Until they meet their new butler, Lily. Beautiful and passionate, they know she's the muse they didn't know they were seeking. Pretty soon, Lily is caught in their web of seduction. And it's exactly where she wants to be. Until her time with them is ending and feelings are hurt. Can the three make things work and grab onto what they so foolishly are casting aside??
Seduction is a novella set in the Bayfront Billionaire series. Although it was a little slow to start, I enjoyed the build just the same. Both Jax and Lex are alpha males and are skilled in seducing women. I felt their heartache for their ex, but also felt they needed to move on since it's been seven years after her death. I don't think they ever dealt with it so their feelings just kept bubbling to the surface. Lily was strong throughout and I felt she really enjoyed helping the guys complete their dedication CD-even though she was jealous of a dead ex at times. I was glad she didn't waiver on her Europe dream too. All three were good together and I really wanted them to finally talk, clear the air, and go for broke! An engaging read!

This book was gifted to me by the Jeep Diva for an honest review. The rating and review are solely my opinion.
Seduction was a good menage erotic story. For the most part I enjoyed the time spent in the sensuous world of Lex, Jax and Lily… but the ghost of a past love was also part of this grouping and that changed the tone of the book for me.
Jax and Lex are prominent classical musicians, best friends working together again on a tribute CD… which is not going as well as they’d hoped. When they meet the temporary butler, Lily their muse seems to have returned to them. The work they create with Lily in the picture is exactly what they’d hoped for. Lily herself is even more than they could ever have dreamed for themselves and their determination to make her more than a musical muse is soon obvious. Lily has plans of her own and they include making enough money to take her mother on a European vacation – and this particular job will definitely do that. What she didn’t expect was to be so moved by the music they create or by the sexual pull that both men have on her. Can she afford to lose her heart when it’s obvious as well that a ghost from their past is still very much active in these seductive men’s hearts.
Seduction earned a 3 star review from me which is a “good book” rating. While a novella can pack as powerful a story as a full length novel, this one was slow to take off for me. That and the feeling that there were four people in this paring also changed how I reacted to the story. I love a good, sexy story as much as the next person. And Seduction was good. If you enjoy MFM romance, some sexy brooding musicians and a kick butt butler then you’ll enjoy this sexy tale.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this novel. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this story.*
I gotta admit, I'm about sick of the millionaire/billionaire plot in romances. However, I throughly enjoyed the peek behind the curtain of professional classical musicians. I also throughly loved the look at a butler's life (that wasn't Downton Abbey influenced). I guess you would get use to having someone anticipate your needs and be semi-invisible while going about daily activities but as a middle class American, it feels creepy and stalkerish. But it was a fun look.
I'm not really fond of menage romance but I'm constantly reading stuff out of my comfort zone to expand my reading horizon. I'm not sure I could ever fathom the depth of emotion needed to be sexually involved with two men at one time (and believe me I'm not a prude when it comes to sex and several times I've dated two guys at the same time) but for me sex equals feelings not just the act. I loved that it was a novella as it's a great way to test drive a genre or new author for a reader. I felt like it was pretty slow going for the first third of the book and any book for me needs to move along at a fast pace early on or I won't finish it. I'm not talking about inst-love or sex as that puts me off too but the story was just a bit slow for me.
I felt that the story could have benefited from a bit more dialogue as I think this is a great way to get to know the characters. I want to see them not be told about them. It just didn't have enough meat (no pun here) to it. It might have helped if I'd read the earlier book in the series and I'll definitely pursue more by this writer. And I just went back and bumped up my rating to 3 1/2* from 3* cause I realized I liked it a bit more than I realized.
Seduction: A Bayfront Billionaire' Novella by Calista Fox is the story of Lily, Lex and Jax. This is just one hot, sexy and sweet novella. Lily had taken a butler job working for Lex and Jax who are billionaire musicians. She was expected to be on call day and night but she didn’t expect for her new bosses to be extremely hot and hunky. They hide this pain inside of them but she doesn’t know what pain they hide .What she does know is they appear to be on the prowl, hunting her down , at times seducing her with their eyes. You can tell Lily is professional and does her job but deep down is trying hard not to give in to their seduction. Lex and Jax are working on new music and when Lily shows up, its like an anwer to a prayer, she is the muse they were looking for yet at the same time, it was an answer to an even deeper prayer. This novella holds a lot into a short amount of time. I loved all the characters in this fast moving story –will Lily be temporary or will she be their forever muse ?
My Rating: 4.5 stars ***** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
Seduction by Calista Fox A Bayfront Billionaire Novella #2
Who knew music could seduce and do such a marvelous job of it? Then again, perhaps it was Lily, working as the musicians’ temporary butler, who was really the seductress? Jax and Lex were friends who shared passion not only for music but sometimes for women. When Lily walked into their lives she became their muse allowing them to create beautiful music and as they created their passion overflowed into their relationship with Lily. Whether or not the relationship between the three would last beyond the short term contract Lily had with the two men was on all of their minds as their two months together neared its end. A novella that was definitely worth reading and one I would recommend with a nice slow buildup and a sizzling ending.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC – this is my honest review.
I liked this book. For being a short book it was good. At least Jax and Lex were not self-arrogant being billionaires. I enjoyed that Lily did not come off as overly sexual. Therefore, when she was experiencing the passion with Jax and Lex it was both sweet and spicy. Both men acknowledged that this was the first time that Lily has been with two men and so they were careful with her. The sex scenes were brief. I would say this book is right in the middle between a romance and an erotica novel. Although, I did like this book, I do wish that the story had a little more substance. I did not truly feel the passion that Jax and Lex had as musicians. Overall, still an enjoyable read.
I have never read anything by this author before but I have to say from the description I was hoping for more. Usually I feel that novellas can feel too rushed but in this instance, I was thinking get to the point already. Lily, Lex and Jax danced around their attraction to one another for about 2/3 of the story before anyone acted on their feelings. And once they did, it just seemed rushed.
To be honest, this story turned out to be better than I had expected, because I’m usually not a fan a menage stories. This novella was well-paced with engaging and enthralling characters. I loved the seductive taboo aspect of this story of two internationally acclaimed classical musicians and their lady butler, their chemistry was all-consuming. I enjoyed the dynamic between the three characters as the story unfolded.
Jax Sterling and Lex Alexander are childhood friends and have both reached the pinnacle of success individually, but want to catch up on their friendship and compose together. Despite their common past, they are struggling to work together and are experiencing a painful musical block. Their cooperation has reopened wounds of their past. Lily is their temporary lady butler. She is warm, lively and they are both fascinated by her. They thrive in her company and soon realize she could become the missing part of their project, their muse, providing them creative inspiration.
The seduction of Lily was well-done, with some Cinderella moments she revels in. Lily genuinely likes them, and their music speaks to her. There was a lot of sexual tension and the sexy scenes were well-written and scorching hot. Overall, I enjoyed this seductive and erotic novella, with engaging and intriguing characters, although the ending felt a bit rushed. Calista Fox is a new author to me, but I’ll definitely follow her in the future!
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher, via NetGalley.
Seduction (A Bayfront Billionaire Novella) by Calista Fox was a sultry and seductive novella that had moments of sweet amongst its three romantic leads.
Liliana "Lily" Hart has just been hired as a live-in butler for two months for two billionaire musicians who are in the middle of composing new music. On her first day on the job, she instantly catches the eye of both her employers, Jax and Lex. What starts off as her playing the muse, sitting and listening as they play to help inspire them as they finish their cd, soon becomes more than any of them expected.
Ms. Fox definitely seduces with her menage a trois. Lily, Jax and Lex have instant chemistry and I liked how we learned a little about their pasts. For example, Lily's family and the guys' past relationship. Though, I wish there was more time spent developing their relationship or maybe more time with them together before the end of the story. Or maybe an epilogue.
Overall, Seduction by Calista Fox is a short and sweet romance about three people who find love again after loss. I happily recommend.
(I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my fair and honest review.)
Jackson Sterling and Lexington Alexander are the world class classical musical duo whose ethereal symphonic creations captivate hearts and minds the world over. But the two also share a tragic but sensual secret, that looms as a heartbreaking specter in both their lives and their creations.
Lily Hart is the best in her business and her business just happens to be service. As a female butler to the best and brightest, she knows that she has what it takes to make her two newest clients feel right at home. What she has no way of knowing however, is just how many "bonuses" her new position has to offer... And what no one involved has any idea of is the life changing outcome that their shared passions will have on their art, their shared hearts, and their joined destinies.
Calista Fox's newest offering in the Bayfront Billionaires series. Seduction offers readers a full and very scintillating tale of creativity, seduction, and love in a very readable novella format. Though this book is flawless on every level. The most fascinating aspect of the story told here is the fact that Lily, although employed as the "help" in the lives and household of Jax and Lex; is more than capable of holding her own among the elite of her world. She is so at home in fact, that it often times becomes hard to see her in her role as servant. Over time, the reader becomes more accustomed to seeing her two billionaire lovers serve and adore their enchanting butler turned muse.
Coupled with the fascinating evolution of the upstairs/downstairs plot line. The time and detail given to the development of the shared eroticism between out three main characters is phenomenal. Unlike most menage reads, Seduction features a relatively slow and study build in interaction. In so doing, making room within said relationship for the readers' investment. Creating an intensely readable and surprisingly relatable fantasy experience.
This was what I like to call a quick feel good read. There was absolutely no drama, unless you count the dead ex as drama which I didn’t. I agree with a lot of the other reviews that the first 3/4 of this book was slow and the last quarter of the book was warp speed.
Due to the time constraints established in the book, there really wasn’t a way to character build this relationship. The physical attraction was blatantly, obvious, but anything deeper was lost.
I also have issue with the fact that Lily is so proud of the butler legacy running through her family, but it took only one week for her to jump in the bed with her employers. How can you take her seriously in her field if she can do something that quickly.
So for a quick read with some hot and heavy in it, it gets 3.5 stars. But if you’re looking for something more substantial, with some meat in it, you probably want to pass on this one.
This is a short novella and around 11 chapters long but don't let that put you off as it's a short hot steamy read.
We meet Lily Hart who has come from a long line of butlers. Lily has agreed to work as a temporary live in butler to musicians and billionaires Jackson Sterling and Lexington Alexander she will be expected to be on call 24/7 for these two hot men who Lily is attracted to from the minute she claps eyes on them.
It's not long before the 2 men put their plan of action into practice and get Lily into their bed. Their little plan works but what will happen when their temporary agreement with Lily comes to a end?? Will they be able to let Lily go??
This was a new author book for me and since I am a sucker for a menage book I gave it a try.
A shorter story with interesting characters - 2 world famous musicians and a woman butler. The guys are trying to get back their 'groove' while collaborating again and find themselves fascinated with their interim butler. They find that they are inspired by her presence and install her as their muse. So begins a whirlwind relationship between the 3. But will they be able to sustain it with all the plans they each have in the works?
Safe read. No cheating and a HFN ending.

I'm not into books of the genre but since I was invited to review it I read it. By the cover, you would not be able to tell it is a menage story but that's what it is.
Lily while playing her role of lady butler to 2 musical geniuses helps them to overcome their musician's block by becoming their muse. She also helps them to heal and move past a tragedy the Lex and Jax shared in their pasts and find love once again.

Well....it was....interesting. Ususally I'm all for this plot, but man was this one difficult to get through. The whole time I just felt bored.
Lily was ok, as were Lex and Jax. But the whole thing felt rushed and not planned out. It was a really quick read and I was able to skim most of it without feeling like I was missing much. I just felt like this one was kind of a dud.
*I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinion stated are solely my own and no one else's*
Seduction was hot, sexy and steamy. I liked the heat, lust and hunger emanating from the characters. The chemistry between the three was intense, passionate yet explosive. The music aspect was really touching; intensifying their connection on a deeper level. This was a short read, one I really enjoyed but the ending felt rushed which was a shame.
