Doctor Who: The Wife in Space #5

The (Still) Mad One: The Wife in Space, Volume 5

Rate this book
In 2011, a fanboy convinced his not-we wife to watch every episode of Doctor Who with him (even the ones that didn't exist any more). The result was a moderately successful blog called 'Adventures with the Wife in Space'. This volume collects the fifth phase of that blog and covers the second-half of Tom Baker's reign as the Doctor (The Ribos Operation to Logopolis). Extras include Buck Rogers in the 25th Century and a Big Finish Audio Adventure (exclusive to this book), episode annotations, illustrations by Graham Kibble-White, and a foreword by Andy Miller.

If I could add a sixth star for the K9 and Company review I would.

Neil and Sue Perryman continue their crazy experiment to watch every 'Doctor Who' episode and record their thoughts at the end. No-one said their thoughts had to necessarily focus on the happenings onscreen.

A jolly little book, with plenty of humour and warmth.

Still enjoying these. And the extras in this one are a real treat. Neil even gets Sue to review one of Tom Baker's Big Finish stories!

Continued excellence. The extras are brilliant in it. And I get a quote or two in it as well. :-)

As engaging and enjoyable as ever, Sue and Neil do not disappoint. I'm reading these alongside a full re-watch of the entire run, and thoroughly enjoying both.
