I picked this up off the shelf at the library because it was pretty. I enjoyed having it on the table to pick a topic and read in the morning. I think this is something I would gift to someone.

100 Favorite Bible Verses is a lovely, compact, hard-cover book from Thomas Nelson. It is 5.2 inches wide by 7.6 inches. This would make a lovely book for a gift or a treat for yourself.


100 Favorite Bible Verses by Thomas Nelson is exactly what it is says it is...100 favorite bible verses. Examples are 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7, Psalm 23, and John 3:16. Everyone has different bible verses that mean the most to them, for example, my favorite Isaiah 58:11 is not in the book. But so many of my other favorites are.

The Introduction of the book contains one of my favorite, Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path". Good verse to start off with. Each verse has a lovely introduction or devotional and a prayer. The book is beautifully illustrated with floral decoration.

100 Favorite Bible Verses is a lovely book that you will want to pick up each morning. Or whenever you feel a need. It is encouraging. It will bring hope to the reader.

This book has a lovely cover and makes a person want to pick up it up automatically. This collection of verses would make a perfect gift to someone, perhaps for a new Christian also include the Bible. Each verse has a small little devotional type blurb to go along with it. There is a wide variety so that made this book all the better. There are a few pages in the back to add your own favorites as well.
I think this is a beautiful collection of verses that would make great daily reading. I would encourage to not just read the verse in the book but then also pick up the Bible and read the verses connected with it for the perspective.

I love this tiny book packed with powerful messages. This book comes with a beautiful, colorful layout. One side has a Bible verse scripted out while the other side has a paragraph to read followed by a devotional. This is a great little book just to learn some Bible verses and would also be a great took for those who like to memorize verses as well. I highly recommend this book!
