This book is fairly interesting. It gives you amazing techniques for finding calm in a noisy world, basically finding inner peace. It reminds you to stay connected to yourself and your life, which can get increasingly difficult as we get more and more addicted to technology and social media. She teaches us how to spot signs that we are feeling overwhelmed, and how exactly to slow down. She also shows us techniques to help us sleep better (no TV before bed) and she emphasizes the importance of "me" time which is required to function to the best of your abilities. She talks about hobbies, having a balanced schedule, etc. She also includes stories which shows us the importance of making these changes to improve our life quality. Also, she talks about good health and making good choices for eating right and exercising more. She talks about how it all starts with a plan, and I really liked the segment on "Habitat for Health" which is basically surrounding yourself with things to get you on track for health, like a home gym, trendy active wear, and absolutely no chocolate in the house. She's very insightful, and I definitely see her being a life coach. I also really liked how she included checklists in between chapters to help us reflect on our own lives, so we are more motivated to make those changes, and it makes the book more interactive. I also really liked how she summed up each chapter with the "takeaway" blurbs, that really help solidify the message and main idea of each chapter, and ensure it resonates with you. I definitely got some useful advice on how to find my inner peace, and be more one with the universe. Handy book!
