Welcome to the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club…where you’ll find happily ever afters, no cheating, and sugary-sweet alphas that love to get on their knees.
This gritty series is one of our favorites and includes some of the best Alexa Riley characters ever!
This bundle includes Pulling her Trigger, Beauty and the Biker, Letting Her Lead, Pulling His Trigger, and Riding Him.
If you’ve never read it, now’s the time. Grab the complete series by the handles and saddle up. It’s safe, dirty, and ready to ride…just like your mom. Sorry, we’re immature.
Alexa Riley is two sassy friends who got together and wrote some dirty books. They are both married moms of two who love football, donuts, and obsessed book heroes.
They specialize in insta-love, over-the-top, sweet, and cheesy love stories that don’t take all year to read. If you want something SAFE, short, and always with a happily ever after, then Alexa Riley is for you!
Feel free to follow us each on twitter @smut_sasshole & @SassNSmut
If you took away most of the relationship angst, you get an Alexa Riley. I've been reading the Ghost Riders series on my phone in all those in-between moments of life. They make me laugh A LOT with their OTT insta-love but sometimes it's nice to think people just connect successfully.
Not all of these instalments were fantastic and we definitely get one that makes you want to kick a fella in the ding-ding. That particular one, probably was different from Alexa Riley's usual in that the hero was a bit too real. He's dealing with stuff and he doesn't let the love of his woman fix it straight away. He does come good and in the rest of the series, he's just as you would expect. The other heroes are just what Ms Riley promises.
I enjoyed my little visit into the world of Smutty Smutt but I admit that it couldn't and wouldn't be regularly featured in my reading mix. But, once in a while, it's good to take a ride through the world of Smutt.
READ EACH BOOK IN THIS SERIES. It's nice to have them altogether like this. Since it's still the same books essentially put into this bundle, and I have already read them. I will not do so again. For those who have not had the pleasure of reading these, please enjoy.
Five heroines and five MC heroes in one bundle by AR an early gift for Christmas to read it next to the fireplace with one, two or even three glasses of wine (that's what i did and i really enjoyed it)... As you see we have five MC quick, steamy, enjoyable stories each story has its uniqueness apart from the first story which was my least favorite the rest of them were the perfect stories i like to read from the authors.
So if you look for something to fall in love instantly leaving you with a sweet smile on your face then look no further but beware this not common MC stories be prepare for something entirely different!!
Here are my extend reviews for the three last books ->
5 Stars for over the top, alpha possessiveness, insta love and hotness.
Great characters in each story and as part of the Ghost Riders MC you still see other characters in each book you read although each individually focuses on the main characters of the story and told in dual pov's.
My favourite series from Alexa Riley but I do love my MC reads. I would recommend this box set which is a good mix of hot or quick Alpha biker reads.
Pulling Her Trigger I really enjoyed this story. Very different from most MC stories. Loved that Casper was a woman and that the MC accepted her as a member and they had a lot of Respect for her. I loved the whole bad MC girl and good FBI agent making it work. Although Vincent seemed a little stalkerish he was still a truly great addition to the story!
Beauty and The Biker I liked the story and the whole idea and plot of this but I wish Abe was a little more assertive, just a tad more. All in all a great story and can't wait to see what is next
Letting Her Lead Well I must say I'm glad I waited to read this in one setting. I loved Lucias. He is such a teddy bear when it comes to Elizabeth. He is everything you could want all rolled up into one man. These two are complete opposites but they make it work well. Although this can be a tough MC it's nice to see the sweeter side of them especially their president. I enjoyed reading the next chapter in the Ghost Riders series!
Pulling His Trigger This short story continues Mackenzie and Vincent's life together and what is going on with them. In this story I found Mackenzie to be more than just the sergeant in arms. She is more in touch with her feelings and Vincent. Vincent is amazing to her and I love that he would do anything for her. I liked that the author did a follow up story on these two and I hope more to come for the others as well. Definite must read!
Riding Him I like Violet a lot she is tough yet you can see the woman in her as well. Knox is a complete opposite of her. He has had a privileged life yet no one to really call his family. His is smart with computers and flirty. These two have sparks flying everywhere. I loved their story sad to the series come to an end.
This is the story of 5 heroines and 5 MC heroes in one bundle. Its full of heat, passion, angst, adventure, and illicit fun. There are 5 stories in this box set – 1) Pulling Her Trigger, 2) Beauty and The Biker, 3) Letting Her Lead 4) Pulling His Trigger & 5) Riding Him. These are 5 very hot, steamy, quick novella style reads that will get your motor running and you will find that these MC bikers will get you ready and willing for any type of “fun” that they bring your way. If you love the insta-love type, then you are in luck, because these alpha type males will definitely show you that in these stories. And their connections with their women are fast and furious. I loved the fact they protect them and are there for them and with them. If you do not mind a bit of grittiness in your books, and love the MC type lifestyles, you will love this AR bundle.
My rating: 4.8 stars **** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
When two very close friends suggested I pick up an Alexa Riley read I wasn't too sure I would like it. I'm skeptical about new to me author reads in which the stories are insta-love and alpha possessive. Not many folks can pull that off and Alexa Riley totally does.
I love that they warn you that it's hot, dirty, and cheesy. LOVE THAT. However, this particular series, I loved ALL the characters. From Mackenzie, to Abe, to Lucias, and Knox. They were short stories yet they were packed with just a little dose of everything. Ok, no, the heat was definitely not in small doses. It was packed with dirty heat that makes you flip the pages.. one handed.
All 5 of these fantastic short, sexy stories in one bundle! I own all these books individually but bought the bundle for convenience anyway and want the paperback as well! Insta-love with bossy alphas and an alphette, these super safe stories are always on my reread list.
This was a fun series. The characters were insta-love and the plot was quick, making these a easy read. Great if you don't want any drama and just a non-thinking series were you can enjoy the book for what it is, easy!
This is my 7th book I'm reading by this author. Some thing are new, somethings are the same in her stories. And I'm in love with every one of them. I really can't explain what is it about this authors books, that's just hook me up. I finishing one book and I'm itchy to grab another.
And in this story add her 'the same stuff' with the bikers and you get an awesomeness. Because I love MC romances. So this was a kickass.
Hero was a little stalkerish with his woman. But somehow that was cute and endearing. And hot. I love him being obsessive and domineering. She always comes first. No matter what.
But then again hero's obsessiness with his woman is Alexas trademark. Which is one of the things brings me back to her world.
Beauty And The Biker
This one was probably the most emotional and painful to read from all Alexas books I read. The pain, hurt, devastation... All was there.
At the beginning, it was light and funny. I was smiling and shaking my head at those two cute dummies. They where light and enjoying their time together.
Then he have to leave for a year. It full of tears moment, when they have to separate. Then letters comes. Sweet, comforting and supporting.
And then catastrophe hits. He's in pain. She's in pain. Everything seems broken and shattered forever.
Abe... I can understand his feelings. It's not easy to overcome what happened to him. But I couldn’t help but feel like he is to much in pity party. Pushing away his friends, his soulmate. This is a life. S*** happens. You are brought to your knees. But you dust off and move on. You fight again. But Abe give up. First obstacle. And he's out.
Julie is torn apart. Her soul pushing her away. She have no clue what to do. How to help. And that helpless feeling hurts her more. All she can do is wait. But how long?
And then it's seems things fall into their place. They found each other. They are planning. And living their dream. But that last for only a day. Because something happens. Again. And he walks away from her. Again. Leaving her behind and broken. Again.
Years flies.
She's living a life. The kind she never thought she will have. But like she said "Life isn't a fairy tale."
He's living a life. Alcohol. Drugs. Fighting. All in that order. Looking for something that could just for a second to let him forget about her. That he left her behind. Until he can’t fight it anymore and he have to see her once more. Try once more.
I'm frustrated with Abe... Savage... What the f*** he calls himself. He's like a damn pingpong ball. Jumping around and unable to take a decision and stand by it. I know he was dealt a hard lesson of life. But you move on. He doesn’t. He push her. He pulls her. Push her... Filling her with hope. And then crushing her. I don't know if I would let this man in my life a second time. Because when they hits a rough path, he runs. Every-f******-time! When you think he finds his balls somewhere in the dust, he drops them again. If you know what I mean.
So, he's back. Again. People say the 3rd time is the charm. But... Could you be able to trust that kind of man again? Can she trust him to be there for her no matter what? Because all signs showed that he wouldn't in the past. He will run again. Will he? Or he is changed man? Ready for once and for all to claim in old lady?
So, what will happen with Julie and Abe? Can they glue back, what he broke?
Letting Her Lead
I don't know, if giving this ride every week just with a chapter was the most cruel thing or most brilliant. Because despite how hard it was to wait for the next fresh breath of air (And yes, it felt exactly like that.), it for sure made me more hungry for Lucias and Izzy. Not to mention the story become somehow more special.
The story is sweet, delicious and of course with possessive alpha biker that is over his woman all the time. Lucias for sure become one of my favourite bookboyfriends.
Pulling His Trigger
I can't express, how happy I'm. It was so good to read more about Mac & Vincent. With a litte sweet surprise for both of them and for us to enjoy. Not to mention about a little hint of the next obsessive caveman biker. Can't wait.
Riding Him
Another hit in the series. It was sexy, a little adventurous and funny. Loved Violet. She reminded me of Cas. Tough exterior, with soft spot inside. Which only can see her man. And Knox is so lovable. Loved seeing then together.

When you want to read some hot and intense MF and don’t want to wade through chapters of possibly boring tropes or plot lines, grab some Alexa Riley stories, the earlier ones are the better ones. There is a lot of humor mixed in with some drama and, of course, love. I enjoyed these four novellas set in the world of the Kansas City MC, the Ghost Riders. The best character? Knox! AKA ‘Scribe’. He was the mystery super chill hottie of the club and his story was the last in the series. They could have put him with any female MC and it would still have been his story. Who he fell for was neat and turned Knox into a dirty talking love machine. I might read this one again. It was almost poignant when all the stories ended with the club leadership paired off with their spouses and kids for a nice HEA scene. I would have liked to read more about these characters.
Pulling Her Trigger Pulling Her Trigger is the first book in this boxset and focuses on Mackenzie a.k.a “Casper”, the SAA of the Ghost Riders MC. As the only female member of the club, and an officer at that, it’s already hard for her to meet a guy for anything other than a one night stand. That’s fine with her though, until Vincent walks into her favourite pickup bar and takes her breath away. Strong, sexy and Alpha as hell, he’s perfect and just might be able to penetrate the walls she has built up around her heart.
Vincent is a fed though, and we all know law enforcement and MC’s don’t usually get along too well. Especially when it turns out he’s working a case that could potentially send her away for a very long time.
A nice quick read sees the pair falling for each other, opening up to each other, and Vincent admitting just how much he wants her and how long he’s been watching Mackenzie from afar. His loyalty will be tested though when he has to decide whether to protect Mackenzie, or do his job and send her away.
It was certainly a different approach to MC books having the female being the MC member, but it actually worked I think, especially once it was made clear just how she got into the club and what her role is there. I thought her and Vincent together was written well but I did think a couple of the things he did was a bit weird.
I enjoyed this first book, and am interested to see where this series is going. I give Pulling Her Trigger 4 stars.
Beauty and the Biker Book two of the Ghost Riders MC series give us Abe “Savage” and Julie’s story. After a whirlwind month long romance has them making promises to each other, Abe leaves for a year’s deployment with the Marines. When Abe is hurt, Julie rushes to his side, but repulsed by his scars, inside and out, Abe turns her away.
When he finally feels recovered enough, Abe goes looking for Julie, only to break her heart for a second time. Years later, determined to be the man she needs, Abe tries for a third time to get Julie to give him another chance. But has she finally moved on after being broken by him so many times, or will this be a case of third time lucky for them?
Another good read, although I think she should have given him a harder time for him hurting her, the pair were really good together. I give Beauty and the Biker 4 stars.
Letting her Lead Letting her Lead gives us the President’s story. Lucias spotted Izzy Force one day in the supermarket and was instantly smitten. Overhearing someone refer to her as the local vet, he goes so far as buying himself a dog so he has a reason to go speak to her often. How sweet is that!
One night, a club issue has Izzy ending up at the clubhouse and Lucias finally gets his chance at being with the woman who has filled his thoughts for the past few months.
This one was quite a sweet one, and Lucias and Izzy were really good together. Yeah it might have been kinda insta-love, but sometimes that’s ok and this was one of those times. A little bit of action, a little bit of drama and plenty of, at times a bit cheesy, romance and this was a nice story. I’m giving Letting her Lead gets 4 stars.
Pulling His Trigger A short little look back at the original couple, Mackenzie and Vincent.
They’ve been together for a while now and Vincent knows her body almost better than she does, so when he notices it is starting to change, he patiently waits for her to tell him her secret.
Mackenzie is worried her secret will leave the club vulnerable and that her place in it may even be jeopardised. It doesn’t help that she hasn’t even had the chance to tell Vincent; every time she tries something stops her.
I liked this quick peek at the couple and the way everyone reacted was super cute. A certain person’s reaction to finding out who will be helping out in Mack’s absence has me eager to read their story. I give Pulling His Trigger 4 stars.
Riding Him The final instalment in the Ghost Riders MC series gives us Scribe and Violet’s story.
Scribe has the hots for Violet who has been taken on as a prospect, in part to help cover for Cas, who due to being pregnant cannot go off doing her sniper duty. She’s been trained and is ready but Scribe is not happy about her joining the club. Not only does she seem too young to him, but she’s also too enticing. He wants her and he doesn’t hide it.
Violet just wants to belong. Meeting her sister-in-law, Mackenzie, she realises there is a place for her somewhere and she works her butt off to prove to the Ghost Riders that she should be one of them and become the second female to join the club as a patched member and not just as one of the men’s Ol’ Ladies.
When the two are sent out on a mission together they are forced to address their feelings and wow, the sparks definitely fly. A nice ending to the series and I give Riding Him 4 stars.
The boxset as a whole is an enjoyable easy read. Low on the MC action, high on the sexy times and insta-love but that works just fine here. I'd certainly read Alexa Riley again but personally I prefer a bit more grit to my stories and I give the Ghost Riders complete series 4 stars.
This was such a great HEA biker series that I couldn't put down.....
Book 1: Pulling Her Trigger What a great twist to read about a female biker.....that said Vincent is a perfect match for Mackenzie. What happens when you put together a snipper and a shield?? Let me just say HOT DAM you will need a new pair of pants after you get down to the bottom of Vincent. Seeing the depth of his feelings for her was refreshing and a game changer for both Casper and her brothers.
Book 2: Beauty and the Biker How can something so good backfire in a flash of a moment. Abe found his one and only on leave and everything seemed to fall into place. Then one moment well deployed overseas turned things upside down....Julie just wanted to comfort him and remind him of all he had waiting for him State side. The accident changed it all and forced distance between the two the tore them both to pieces. Abe had his biker family to help him recover and Julie had her own strength to keep going for the day her Abe returned to her. Can they both find that point in time and just move forward??
Book 3: Letting Her Lead I am in love with Ham and want to see him in his side car...that said he brought together these two and is was all I could have hoped for the Club President. Lucias always looks out for his club and his luck is bound to change in all places the grocery story cereal aisle. Izzy is the computer nerd at night and get during the day. Ham is the club guard dog Lucias got to give him a reasons to see the only vet in town. Never mind Izzy only paying attention to the dog and not the owner, but they are both hiding their reaction to one another. Funny how the club forces his hand to be revealed and neither attempt to deny the pull. I loved having the full club involved in their interactions....
Book 4: Pulling His Trigger Mackenzie did you really think you could keep this surprise from Vincent?? We get another taste of these two characters and show Vincent proves yet again how well he knows his wife. Mackenzie has been keeping a secret from her husband and club....will she be able to come clean and still be who she sees as herself? The growth of the club is really what keeps me wanting more from theirs series.
Book 5: Riding Him I have wondered about the man behind the computer screen and we finally get a taste of Knox. Let me just say what a taste, as he left me wanting more from the jerk of the club.Violet is none other than the youngest sister of the Vincent and she comes with an attitude and strength that keeps everyone away. That is until Knox sees her for the first time and can't stay away from her. Violet just wants to belong and the training she is getting from Casper finally gives her that focus she has been missing for years. Knox knows she is hiding something, but never could have guessed why she hides behind her walls. That all changes when they are thrown into a high profile assignment. What I have come to love most about the members of Ghost Riders is how they all setup and commit to the true mate the moment they finally realize what they have found. Knox is not exception to this and I enjoyed watching the club grow over the entire journey.
Thanks for a great series and I am sad to see the end of this one...If you are looking for a fast pace alpha male adventure look not farther than The Ghost Riders MC. This isn't want you have come to expect from a biker series and it is a great change of pace!!
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review
BK #1: What more can I ask for, I have an MC Romance, which is my all time favorite read and it's written by Alexa Riley! I mean who can write a hot, sexy dirty as hell MC story like Alexa? What's not to love about an MC Romance? Hot, Alpha, Possessive, Dominating men that love to have sex no matter where they are and they talk about as dirty as can be and NEVER leave a woman unsatisfied! Add to that an Italian FBI agent that has the hots for one tough Air Force sniper/Biker biotch who is one 5 foot 2 inch firecracker! I am so looking forward to reading more of your Ghost Rider MC Romance. Be warned, contents may melt kindles! BK #2: As much as I liked Mac and Vincent from the first book, I have to say I am loving Savage and Julie's story. The heat levels in this one were still there but there was so much more to their story. They had their struggles and stuff but in the end, love still wins out. But as I said Alexa still got out her Erotica Dust and sprinkled it all over the freaking place and had hot sex happening and dirty talking and baby making! So hang on to your panties girls because they just might fly off! BK #3: This time it's Lucias' turn to find love, he's the President of The Ghost Riders MC. When he first lays eyes on the towns lady veterinarian, he knows she is the one for him. Even though they come from two completely different worlds. So he gets to her the only way to get to a devoted veterinarian...through her heart, by the way of a sweet adorable baby bulldog puppy! She falls first for his new bulldog puppy that he calls Ham but it does not take her but a minute to fall for the big bad biker President! This series of MC books are not like most. There is no cheating and they are full of goodness and sweetness but they are definitely a nice short, refreshing read to grab after finishing an intense book and starting another! BK #4: I enjoyed this second book about Mac and Vincent's life as much as I like the first half. Definitely never a dull moment with those two. But what a wonderful love story. They were like two halves that became whole once they found each other. I love that Mac thinks she is hiding something from Vincent but he had things figured out long before she did and had his own plans put into action long before she did. We also get to meet his sister Violet in this book and learn a little about her past. But like ALL of Alexa's books, they are sweet love stories with wicked good sex throughout! BK #5: Finally it's time for Knox's story. The sexy, hot biker that is known for his computer skills and always being the jokester in the crowd seems to have a sad, lonely past that no one really knows about. When Vincent's sister tries to get patched into the Club he tries to put a stop to it because he is afraid she will be a big distraction for him because he has feelings for her. Mac is trying to get Violet trained to take her spot as sniper while she is pregnant. Well, Violet gets patched in and her and Knox-"Scribe", are sent on a job that has them together for a couple of days in a tent and neither one of them can fight their feelings any longer. Scribe is the only man that Violet has allowed into her life after a past bad experience. This is a sweet love story that is definitely got alot of screen scorching sex scenes, like all Alexa Riley books do! ***Like most of Alexa's books, these are nice short reads to read in between books or to read before bedtime simple because they are quick reads. But also are very refreshing because not only are they hot and sexy as hell, they are pretty much always positive, happy, romantic and sometimes silly, so they always leave you with a "feels good" vibe!
Action backed alpha males that fall at first sight and fall hard. I absolutely loved this series, there’s no other women or men to contend and the love is instant for the men and they fight for the women who capture their hearts. Read through Kindle Unlimited
I love that Alexa Riley wrote two of the four stories where the woman is in the club. You can always count on this duo to write strong women who take no crap from anyone. Loved this boxed set!
This bundle features the complete Ghost Rider series by one of my favorite author duos.
Pulling Her Trigger, Book One
Vincent, an FBI agent, and Mackenzie, aka Casper, a former military and current Ghost Rider member, are on two opposite sides of the law, yet Vincent knows immediately that she's meant to be his and will do anything for her. Even if it costs him his job, because nothing is more important to him than his Mackenzie.
Beauty and the Biker, Book Two
Abraham, aka Abe, a military man, has four weeks before he ships out, and that's when he meets Julie, the woman he knows is his future. Abe and Julie fall deeply in love during the short time they have together and Abe vows he'll return to her. Abe does return, but due to his injuries he pushes her away. This is their story of finding each other again, despite the obstacles in their way. (In case you're concerned, neither are with anyone else during their separation.)
Letting Her Lead, Book Three
Lucias, president of the Ghost Riders, suddenly has something, someone, other than the club on his mind when he meets Elizabeth, aka Izzy, a veterinarian. However, their relationship will be tested due to the actions of Izzy's brother.
Pulling His Trigger, Book Four
A short novella revisiting Vincent and Mackenzie. Vincent knows the love of his life is hiding something from him and he wants to know what it is. Mackenzie has news to share with her soul mate, yet she hesitates because she knows her news will change everything and she, the kick butt Casper, is scared.
Riding Him, Book Five
Knox, aka Scribe, can do anything with a computer as evidenced by his position as the club hacker, but for some reason he can't get Violet, a woman determined to join the Ghost Riders, to notice him. Or so he thinks.
Violet, Vincent's sister, is traumatized by an event from her past and needs to use the skills Mackenzie taught her in order to find some closure. She can't help but notice Knox and when they're paired together on a mission, their attraction can no longer be denied.
I love all of these stories and highly recommend reading them in order, making this bundle the perfect purchase. As always with this wonderful author duo, there is no cheating, the men fall hard and fast for their one, never wanting anyone else once they see her, some even having gone years without being with anyone prior to meeting their woman, and if you're anything like me this will be a concern...there are no club hangers on...if you know what I mean.
Pulling her trigger - Okay so this is quick and instalove. You have to be in the mood and like them to like this one. It is also VERY different from other MC books. If you are looking for traditional MC then you might want to read elsewhere. I greatly enjoyed this story. Casper was a great character. She is super strong and a perfect bada$$ female. Vincent is definitely your alpha male but how he loves her is strong but not breaking of who she is. The story had a good plot and arc. It closed up loops and moved on with a happily ever for now. It was instalove but not the whole claim of wedding and babies. Beauty and the Biker - I loved the second story in this series. It was just as quick as the first and was just as good. My heart broke and I wanted to yell at my kindle. Abe - yeah he's such a man and one I wanted to smack over the head so much. He made me so mad. Julie - is as cute as can be. She became so strong as time went one. Even though it's short and quick it's a great read with lots of hot love. Just like the first it is instalove and not your typical MC at all. That said it was still a great read! Letting Her Lead - This story had me smiling and laughing. Ham is just perfect. Izzy and her being a nerd was great. I love how she interacted with Scribe and was giggling myself. Lucias is a strong Pres and knows what he wants. I like how we found out more about what he did for the MC and how it works. Another great quick read! Pulling his Trigger - I'm so glad we got this little story. It continued Casper and Vincent and was perfect. I'm loving all things Alexa Riley and her short stories. If you are looking for a quick, fun, loving read then I highly recommend this book and the series. Love every minute of it. Riding Him - So this was a great ending to a perfect little series. It is definitely different than any MC you will read but is such a good series of instalove. The author did such a great job of developing the characters in such a short story. They all evolved over time and we got to have a nice conclusion. Knox is great and the quiet strong type. He was written well. Violet is perfect. I really like how she came about and just threw Knox for a loop.
Not my cup of tea. While it may be for someone else. I had issues with each story.
Book 1 - there is no way an FBI agent would still maintain his job if he hooked up with an MC chick, sabotaging evidence and covering up the MC’s above the law tactics, without the bureau noticing. The MC chick was so butch I found her completely unlikable. Why does a strong biker chick have to be described as unfeminine but still has a typical hot bimbo body?!? Smdh
Book 2 - I can not find it romantic for a man to constantly beg and say he’s “sorry” for the same bad choices he chooses to make repeatedly to his supposed soulmate. And I can not tolerate a woman who keeps going back to a man like that. Honestly, you should love someone for better or worse but if you continually run away and or push away someone in the bad times then you don’t really love them. You’re too selfish to love anyone but yourself.
Book 3 - made no sense. It was very to the point so not much to say other than a questionable romance with a questionable HEA. Especially for the female lead’s twin.
Book 4 - was a meet up/epilogue for the first book’s characters and a set up for book 5’s characters. So it was okay but still can’t figure out how that FBI guy hasn’t been fired or arrested yet.
Book 5 - I haven’t even finished because I’m just so done with this series. So far, it’s not promising at all. I don’t like the manwhore male lead or the second butchy female MC chick in this series, and I’m like five chapters in. Smh. I’ll finish it eventually just to finish it, but I simply can’t force myself to continue it right now.
I wanted to still give a review on the ones I read while it was still fresh in my mind. They all have a gritty raw quality to them. I have no problems with that but the choices made by the characters just didn’t ring true for me.
For people who don’t care about a story making sense but want a juicy erotic insta-love story then have at this one. Or maybe fans of sons of anarchy (which I never saw) with HEA’s, then here’s your read. But again it’s not for me. I do like AR’s other gritty romance series “Taking The Fall”. Now that was AWESOME! Give me more of that please!! Lol
I confess, I didn't stumble upon this series until the last book was released. It was a pleasant surprise to see that they released the series in one easy to find bundle! I love that you don't have to wait for the next book or even look up the series to find out which book comes next. The stories flow one right into the next with glimpses of the upcoming couple sprinkled throughout. The members of the Ghost Riders MC are alpha males who know what they want and fight hard to get it and sometimes to keep it. Each issue within the couple's relationships are just a small stumbling block along the way, quickly resolved and action packed. You'll get the feels every time a new character is introduced and they become more than just fictional people on a few pages and more like a friend that you're getting to know for the first time or seeing again and getting more acquainted. I like that the females in the book are strong and don't need rescuing from anyone (but themselves sometimes) and can go toe to toe with their men, fiercely protective and fighting until the last ounce of strength and then some. What's great about this bundle is that although AR books always seem short and leave you waiting for their next sexy story, these keep going on and on and seem to satisfy that itch you need without waiting for the next book to be written or the release date to happen. Normally I'm not a MC book fan, but since I started reading Alexa Riley books I can't seem to put them down. The variety of characters brought to life are so good that I wouldn't care if my heroine fell in love with an ax murderer because they write them so well I'd probably start cheering for more victims! ha ha ha. This set is an absolute must if you're going to read one of the books or even if you're on the fence about the series. I promise once you get a taste you won't be able to finish until the last punch of this series!
Pulling Her Trigger Mackenzie is Casper, a sniper and MC member. I love that she has the complete respect of her club- no one messes with her. And Vincent, is such a good boy, ready to be as bas as he needs to be to keep Casper from running away from them.
Beauty and the Biker While this book has the same structure as the first Riley MC offering, it takes the characters through a lot more, and grows them a lot more, and it pays off. This is one of Riley's best. Julie is mature and doesn't stand for being treated badly. Abe is so broken, and he's done so much to himself and to Julie, out of a sense of protection...and it goes so badly. They get their happy ending, yes, but they work harder than any other Riley couple to get it.
Letting Her Lead Lucius is the President of the MC, and one look at Izzy in the grocery, and he goes down hard. Izzy has a lot on her plate, and Lucius is a complication she doesn't need. They both wind up giving a lot, but they get so much more in return. Another great Alexa Riley read!
Pulling His Trigger I really like this MC series, but this felt more like an extended epilogue than a full story. I wanted more about the MC as a whole since there's all these great characters who barely get any "screen time ."
Riding Him Violet, Vincent's (from the first book, married to Casper) sister, wants to join the MC. Scribe feels funny about that. They play the glaring game at each other, but pretty soon after they get sent in assignment, they fall on each other.
I liked the book, but it's not my favorite of this series. For it to be a wrap-up, I expected some of the kind of meat, Book 2 had. This was the basic plot, with a couple of hot and steamy scenes and not a lot of tension.
These are my first books from author Alexa Riley. I took one star off because of the editing - it's a bit distracting. I would have liked a little bit more activity around the club such as outing and squaring off other clubs, to bring a bit of pizzazz and stress to the members, which always lead to great sex afterwards!
You have 5 books in this complete series. It's the story of a group of 5 military people who fought together and came back home after their last tour to revamp an MC and to keep it clean (no drugs, no prostitutes or easy women).
The stories all follow certain rules: 1. All the men are obsessed with their woman and dominate them (and the women love it!). 2. They have realistic story lines; I don't know much about MC's but whatever is here sounds real. 3. The main characters are well-developed and reappear in each stories as secondary characters. 4. Great sex scenes
Pulling her trigger (MacKenzie & Vincent): This is the funniest erotica I ever read Beauty and the biker (Abraham & Julie): Classic story of a man who doesn't think he's good enough for his woman Letting her lead (Lucias & Elizabeth): Big beast of a man turning into the most incredible soft man, first around his woman, then his child Pulling his trigger (MacKenzie & Vincent): Another look into their lives; Violet comes into this book Riding him (Knox & Violet): Love at first sight, doing everything they can to avoid this because they cannot afford to fall hard
I seriously couldn't get enough of this series. I wish it was longer. The only story I didn't like was Izzy and Lucius. I didn't feel the chemistry between them or Izzy with the rest of the club, including the other ladies. Other than that I have ZERO complaints about this series. It has AR standard instalove and sexy smut, but was also believable. The men are OTT alphas, but different than other AR heros, and not in a bad way. I will definitely be purchasing and rereading this series!!
