Sometimes, you don’t know what you’re missing until you find it.
Aela is a shy and quiet, University student with her future mapped out and doesn’t think she could be happier- unless maybe if the hot guy she’s crushing on from the gym would notice her existence. Not that she has time for a guy right now…
Declan should be happy. His tattoo parlour is a growing success, he can have his pick of beautiful women any night he so chooses and he’s easily able to provide for his mother and baby sister. He has everything he needs. But something is missing…
Until their two worlds collide, quite literally, and a fateful mishap ensures nothing will ever be the same again.
Unfortunately, things start unravelling for Declan and he is forced to decide if having Aela’s love is worth risking her life.
Will they find a way to overcome their obstacles? Or is this just another loss Declan will have to learn to live with?
I believe this is the debut book for Ash Hosking and what a debut it is!! I loved the plot of this book but loved the characters more! They were great!! Aela was such a great girl! But Declan is where it was at! No offense Aela!! Who doesn’t love the tortured guy with the sexy tattoos? Declan was such a sweet caring guy with a big heart! The banter and play in this book is just adorable! I love it!!
I’m not sure if Hosking is from Australia? There was a bit of a lingo difference but I liked it. I read a lot of book from the UK and just find that I like reading different things that what I’m used to but I know some don’t so if you have a problem understanding different lingos than just be aware that this has a bit of an Aussie flair. For me the complete awesomeness of this book put any other issues in the background.
The supporting characters were wonderful! I can’t wait to see more of Kara in book 2. The banter and obvious fun they all have just made this a great group to read and people you want to hang around too. Give this author a chance and I think you’ll find that you have a new author to be on the lookout for! She’s funny and witty! Don’t miss this book; it’s the start of a series that I can’t wait for!!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I’m a rambler I know I am I find it almost impossible to stop when I find something that absolutely love and so I will warn you know I am trying really, really hard not to waffle on! I loved this book, I thought Aela was a great character out in the big wide world for the first time so to speak having left home and started and University. Young free and single she is living with her best friend Kara and settling into her new way of life, now all that seems fairly uneventful and in many respects you would be correct but that is until Declan! Oh my lord!!! A fleeting glimpse of him at the gym and her interest was definitely piqued, he was everything she didn’t know she wanted, fit as a flea, Declan was a brute of a guy, with tattoos that screamed at her take a closer look, and while she might not have been the sort of girl to sidle up to him straight off the bat, that didn’t mean she wasn’t willing to keep a very close eye out for him when she was next in the gym…which was now her very favourite place to be! Declan wasn’t just everything Aela wanted he was everything I wanted in a book hero too, he was a giant, a sexy as sin, tough as nails bada$$ with a tough exterior but a heart of gold. He had done the whole relationship thing in the past and learnt the hard way that love is tough and that being on the receiving end of heartache is never a nice place to be and because of that he avoids anything other than a casual hook-up. Well, we will soon see about that!!!! His ex, Grace broke his heart but would he let Aela in enough to help put it back together again? I loved the uncertainty that he carried with him, the determination to protect himself from a pain that nobody could see but that he felt so much. He loved unconditionally, the way he was with his mother and his sister paid testament to the fact that this was a man that deserved a woman that would adore him but was Aela, this beautiful, innocent girl up to the task? There were elements at work in Declan’s life that meant that what he wanted wasn’t always what he could have but he knew in his heart that Aela was put in his path for a reason, that she was meant to be his woman but that came with consequences and Declan had to weigh carefully what steps he needed to take because one wrong move could be catastrophic. But Aela was no shrinking violet no matter what first impression he may have got, she was as honest as the day is long, a sassy young woman with a sharp mind and an even sharper tongue. The banter between the two of them was fantastic! Together they made a brilliant couple, they just fit, they brought the page to life and they illuminated not only each other’s lives, but mine too. I don’t know if this was just the book I needed at this particular moment in time but it struck a chord with me and I adored it. It was well written and the characters, not just Declan and Aela were superb, they all brought their own touch of magnificence to the page and I adored it!
Aela is a shy, University student with a set course for her future. She is happy with her life, but maybe she could be happier if the super hot guy at the gym, she has a crush on, would notice her. As fate would have it, she literally knocks him over, which makes him sit up and notice her, so nothing will ever be the same. Declan is happy with his tattoo parlor's growing success, his pick of beautiful women, and being able to take care of his mom and little sister. But he finds himself out of sorts, and bored of the type of women he keeps company with, so when the tiny woman bowls him over, he feels an instant connection to her. But just as they really start to click, danger comes knocking at his door, and Aela is caught in the crosshairs. Declan is finding it harder to stay away from her, but if they are together, will it be worth risking her life?
WOW! I LOVED every minute of this story, and frankly, I was shocked to see it was a debut, as it was so awesome! The character development is great, with a hilarious cast of secondaries, that were almost (yes, just almost), better than the main characters that I adored, so can't wait read some of their stories. That leads me to state that the hilariously placed humor had me laughing hard, like spit out your drink, snort like a farm animal, laughing that have my poor sides feeling abused. Declan and Aela's flammable chemistry EXPLODED into melt your panties with FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness, that should have a hash tag of #COMMANDORECOMMENDED! I really loved Ash Hosking's talented writing style that had me glued to my seat until the very last page, not to mention, my heart raced cover to cover from different emotions that I physically felt. Her twist and turns swirled around, finally coming to a head that made for serious f-bomb dropping moments. They also led to me really cursing out my sexy Declan, from his totally male choices that are questionable! I CANNOT WAIT TO READ MORE BY THIS AMAZING NEW AUTHOR, (yes, I'm so excited I'm yelling while all capping it!), so, in conclusion, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Draw Me In to EVERYONE!
Wow!! 5 freaking wonderful stars!! This is a new favorite of mine and I can't wait for Book 2!!
Aela just moved out of her parents house and in with her bestie Kara. She is attending Uni and content. She caught a glance of hot tatted up man at her gym and now she can't wait to get back to the gym to spy on him again. A little crush what is that going to hurt?!?!
Declan is a sexy, tatted, muscular beast of a man. He doesn't need a woman in his life, he doesn't do relationships. Just hookups. His past has not bode well with women. His heart has already been broken by Grace and he can not do it again. Until he lays eyes on the most charming, innocent and sexy girl. Aela! He doesn't know what it is but she will be his one day. Problem is she has no place in his life. Will he choose love or will he keep her safe?!?!
Wow this book blew me away right away. I mean I do favor sexy tattooed men but I just LOVE Declan!! A tattoo artist who is so alpha, sexy, has a huge heart, is a great friend and damn if he isn't great with his mother and sister. The night with the cookies oh and the costume party I was madly and deeply in love!! I think Aela and Declan make the cutest couple as well. I love the banter between all of the characters! The author did an incredible job on character development. I love everybody and I get the vibe they all have.
I was reading while waiting for an appt and it was the part where Aela had a flat tire and it was so real I freaking cringed and I instantly had goosebumps! This was an extremely well written book. I find no faults. I love this book from page 1 to THE END. And I am so happy to have started this series I will get my greedy hands on Book 2 (Alex and Kara) as soon as it is available!!
**Thank you to B&B Promotions and the author for granting me this ARC and in return I gave my honest review!!**
Aela is the good girl and of course Declan is the bad boy. What can you do but root for these two. Who doesn't love a hot guy with tattoos?! He's struggling with what he wants out of life when she literally falls into his lap. It's hilarious how embarrassed she gets but Dec just gets drawn in even more by it. When she decides to get a tattoo she didn't realize it was his place and it's another chance meeting moment that he doesn't let get by him. He has a way with art and words that have you swooning for him. 'You changed everything. Like a burst of colour that couldn’t be ignored, so bright that the dark faded, and I was able to appreciate what I had.' It's easy to fall in love with these two!
*~*~* ARC generously provided in exchange of an honest review *~*~* Dec and Aela connect from their first meeting. I loved both their characters. While Dec was this tattooed, sexy guy, Aela was the perfect soft and sweet female. But rather than the stereotype, Dec is a talented, hard working successful businessman who is running his own tattoo shop while Aela is young and intelligent young girl who is confident and wants to make a stand with her family and the world. Both are sweet and perfect together and it was wonderful to read their journey. The supporting characters also made the storyline enjoyable. Can't wait for the next in this series.
Stars: 4 Inky good stars! I love the plot of this book. There's romance, action, hot loving, and conflict. Aela and Declan are made for one another and I couldn't help cheering them on while loving side character humor. There was a bit of confusion for me to start out with, due to Aussie lingo, but I finally got the gist of where the book was taking place further into the story. There were a few places I was worried about my love for the characters, but I had high hopes that this book would end the way it was heading. I throughly enjoyed the read!
Ash has superbly blended sweetness and humour together with an edge of darkness throughout this novel. Thus giving the story a more realistic feel. Aela and Dec's characters were all the more relatable to because of this. I found this to be quite refreshing.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next love story in the series.
We meet Aela as she's moving out of her parents house with her best friend. She has a secret crush on a man that she secretly watches at the gym. Her best friends urges her to go and speak to him and when she goes to, she falls and knocks him over- at this stage I giggled because it's something that I would do!! Overall I thought this was a good book but I did feel like it could have been expanded on more in some stages. Some things were unrealistic. When aela has her tattoo, I couldn't help but think that it was a little off. As someone who has a shoulder/back piece and several other tattoos, 6 hours for a first tattoo sitting and only being the outline is rather unrealistic. I know this may only be a very very small part and like I've already said, I really enjoyed reading this book, but, I feel like some parts were underdeveloped. Decs sister hope made me giggle and ooh and ahh at the same time. I loved seeing their relationship and how she took to aela and the food fight just made me want to throw food at my husband!! Haha!! I loved reading their story and I do look forward to reading the next on the series!

This is one heck of a good read! If you enjoy the genre this story is one of the gems.
Declan, I love a tattooed man. Yum, he really is delicious and would like one for myself! Aela is a passionate female lead who I could connect with. Her character was real and she was intelligent, something that is often lacking in female characters. Loved that Draw Me In was written in two POV it allowed me to get to know Dec and Aela. The other thing that makes this book special is the supporting characters whom I adored. Not one character was stereotypical, they all had their own personalities.
Aela moves into an apartment with her best friend Kara. She’s a science geek, studying, working in the lab and at the coffee shop on campus. Aela has found a new obsession at the gym and she literally falls for him landing on his chest. Now that Aela is not under her parents roof she decides it high time to get that tattoo she’s always wanted. Declan owns a tattoo parlour is sworn off of relationships and just wants a bit of fun. He can’t seem to get her out of his mind though. Then he is threatened by a local bikie club. Although he ignores their pleas they don’t take it lying down. When the threat becomes a reality he blames himself and can’t bring her into the fire with him.
I loved the crushing in the beginning these two are so cute. They have an amazing connection and chemistry. They’re so smitten with each other it’s adorable to read. You can tell she’s a good person by how she treats his 5 year old sister. She’s definitely a catch. He’s no slouch either, he’s sex on a stick. I was wondering what challenge they were going to be facing, enter bad guy. I liked how this turned out. The other characters were just as much fun to read.
Draw Me In by Ash Hosking gave falling in love a new meaning. This book was memorable, thrilling, passionate, and hard to put down. Ash Hosking did a great job giving us readers characters we would instantly want to know more about and fall in love with. A couple of workouts and a tattoo later helped Declan and Aela fall into each other’s arms. They aren’t living the life they are meant to live until they come into each other’s lives. Draw Me In takes you on a journey of finding yourself and dealing with what life throws your way.
Aela Montgomery is a university student who loves her research. She likes to keep to herself, unless you have the pleasure of being a trusted friend. She has a crush on a hot guy, but won’t be making the first move..or so she thought. A little nudge from her best friend Kara and she was already falling for her crush..literally. They have a flirtatious conversation and will probably never see each other again. Well, fate has something else to say about that. Aela has protective parents who she doesn’t have to please anymore now that she is on her own. She loves them dearly, but is glad she can start to liver her own life. First step to freedom, get a tattoo. She walks into Ink Fix and sees her gym crush Declan. This tattoo and meeting is a memory they won’t forget.
Declan Lewis was a the owner of a tattoo parlour. He grew up with a painful childhood dealing with so much loss. He was headed in the wrong direction not knowing how to deal with his pain and anger. A biker named Buzz took him under his wing to teach him a way to transfer his emotions into something productive and beautiful like art. He owns his parlour and everything seems to be going his way. He can have any woman he wants, but when he meets Aela she’s got him thinking about the future. Their connection is instant, commanding, and so freaking HOT. Everyone notices the passion they have for each other. Just when everything is going great, a biker gang threatens it all. Can Aela and Declan make it through this tough time? Will Declan make the right decision for his life and business? So many questions and Dec has so little time. He now has someone else to think about.
I loved reading about Aela and Dec. Aela was still finding herself and when she met Dec she was falling hard from the start. Dec had the exact same feeling towards her and it was fun to read about how they develop as a couple and as individuals. Draw Me In is a must read for 2016. I love how they both brought out a side to each other that they didn’t know existed. Their love story was addicting and constant. Get ready to fall in love with Dec and Aela and have a few laughs and shed a few tears. Read it and try to put it down (FYI you won’t be able to). Ash, I am in love with this story and can’t wait to read more about Alex and Kara!
I absolutely loved this book! 5 stars is kinda a big deal for me because I'm so picky with books but I can honestly say this was one of my favs!! The characters are so loveable, the connection felt real and it wasn't rushed as most books are! This book made me laugh, gush and sometimes a bit teary! It had everything in it that I love to read about! Thank you for a breath of fresh air to the romance world!! Can't wait for the second book!!
