“THE POISON TRUTH” part four! It turns out that Chas’s gangster trouble may be John’s best opportunity to defeat the djinn. That is, they will be if they don’t catch on to the con he’s pulling.
Simon Oliver was hatched in South London in 1969. Since that date he has consistently strived for mediocrity in a number of fields of employment, from cooking at the legendary Hacienda Club of Manchester in the late 1980's, scuba diving instructor in the planet's more tropical climes, to a career as a camera assistant in Hollywood. With such a spotty and heterogeneous employment record is seemed only fitting that the comic book would industry welcome him with open arms in 2005 for his writing debut in THE EXTERMINATORS.
The series is finally picking some pace and things are looking up , the first 2 books were sure awful but the 3rd one and this one were handled really well and I'd have rated it more but for a few things
1. Too much disposition 2. Too much political propaganda . 3. incomprehensible action scenes 4. Lengthy , Unnecessary dialogues .
All said it's still much better than how the series started and while i was thinking of droping the title after the 2nd issue , this issue and the #3 issue have shown me that there is hope for this series still
I still have no real idea what's going on, who these people are, or why I should care about them. I'm running out of patience to stick around to find answers to any of those questions. Also, the dialogue was SO ENGLISH it was nearly impossible to understand at certain points. Not digging the Hellblazer.
