Insatiable is a two story anthology written by the same author. I LOVED THIS BOOK! This book was borrowed (thanks Marion) but I will DEFINATELY be buying my own copy very soon! It was easy to read, and I really thought the characters were interesting and well written...especially for a short story.
The Abduction of Emma
Luke has been in love with Emma forever. Despite that she is his best friends sister and he thinks she is too good for the boy that lives on the wrong side of the tracks, he sets out to make something of himself, after her pushes her and her love for him away.
Emma is going to be a bride. Unfortunately, not Luke's bride. After being scorned by Luke and waiting for several years for him to come around, she decides to go on with her life. So when her nice guy friend asks her to marry him, she decides to go for it, because her true love doesn't want her anyway.
One moment Emma is on her way to her engagement party and the next she has been abducted by the older, still very sexy Luke. He is all grown up and wants Emma for himself....will she give in?
I loved these two together. Emma was able to get past Luke's demons and they really came together very nicely.
Taming Alex
At Emma and Luke's wedding they notice that Emma's brother, Ethan and her best friend Alex are sending some very sensual vibes to one another. Ethan soon confesses that he has always been in love with Alex and strives to make her his. Alex is afraid of commitment and although has some strong feelings for Ethan, is scared to let herself go.
What was great about both of these stories were the heroes. They saw, they took, they conquered! WOoo HOOO
If you are offended by strong language, explicit sex and some light BDSM this book is not for you.
Otherwise, kick back and enjoy the ride!
