The most confusing book I have ever read!
What was that ending?? Who is the murderer? The father or the mother? Who will ever blame a murder on their son? If it was the mother, how come she stood the accusations and he was locked down in the house? Why would they lock him down in the first place? And why won’t they let him have his peace? I am pretty sure he didn’t plan to reveal anything not that anyone would believe him but why would they interfere in his life after all that? Especially his now wife? Why did the father forcefully drag her into this mess in the first place?? He changed his name so he could forget about his past and move on with the life of his life but no they had to ruin that too! And who is the mother waiting for ?? Don’t tell me, Malcom and Callie! This book is a mess, with many unanswered questions. This is not what a thriller, horror, or mystery should be!

Everything is not as it may seem.
I thought at first the story was really slow. It got to be a little tedious. However! The ending and climax really quicken the pace and made the last few chapters really fly by. The story weaving was great and the unraveling mystery at the end was so well done. I would've rated the book much higher if the beginning went by a little faster. I really recommend finishing the book, it is worth it. The suspenseful thriller has a great firework finish.

WARNINGS: murder, blood, death, strangulation, abuse - physical and mental

Wonderful as always. Love Gary Devon's writing style. Very suspenseful and full of twists and turns. I really enjoyed this book just as I had enjoyed Bad Desire by him. He's a great author and I can't wait to read Lost by him when it arrives. Due to his untimely death, we don't have more gems like this one from him. I think he could have rivaled the best thriller authors out there today. Great job!

At first this book seems like a romance, but the story goes on and it becomes a blood-curdling horror! this book ended with an epilogue far too epic so i hope there comes a wedding night 2! but until then, i guess i'll have to stick to the fan-fictions!

It's a decent slasher with enough suspense to keep me interested. The twists were predictable, but I was still entertained. It's short and slashy, a bit cheesy, and pretty fun.

This story is a complete mess. Who's the killer ? The father or the mother ? What kind of parents who accept to accuse their son of murder just to escape from prison.
The moral of this story, if your father tells you that you are in a big trouble, don't believe him.
What's wrong with the mother ? is she killing people for fun ?!!
The romantic passages between Callie and Malcom are a waste of time and useless.
Conclusion, this is book for teenagers!!

A friend recommended this truly wonderful book. Although, I found the pace dull at the beginning, the suspense and the development of the various characters involved builds up as you progress through the novel. Readers who are looking forward to a truly suspense filled evening can go for this!

Wedding Night, Gary Devon, RDC-M, #5-95, 8/09. When Callie said her vows to Malcolm, she was happier than she'd ever been. But death was an uninvited guest, and closer than she knew. Very good.
