DGI is creating an army capable of destroying all that is human, inhuman, and subhuman, and at the time she needs them most, Kelly's strength and healing abilities are fading. Always a great read!

Subhuman Resources is another great addition to the series. This time Kelly is dealing with kidnappings of humans and subhumans. She befriends a ghoul and helps him with the problem of missing children when his goes missing. Great story and tons of action and magic! Love these books.

This story pulls at your heart within the first few chapters. The author managed to make you invested in the women Kelly teaches right off the bat and your heart aches for them. I loved the mix of good and bad in Victor and the intrigue created over Kelly’s headaches and her friend, Amanda. The authors take on Ghouls is fresh and unique, and you couldn’t help but love Bliss, Kess and Jiggs. The plot was great, the Ghoul society was fascinating and it had lots of intrigue, action and suspense. I was left wondering which Jonathon Shade book Kelly and Jon meet up in, as it was mentioned a couple of times in this book. I have listened up to the last audiobook (#8 - Vertigo Effect) in the Jonathon Shade series and it looks like I will be reading the rest of the books soon to find out what happened when they met again. I am really enjoying this spin off series and love how Kelly’s character has developed to be much more than the killing machine she was engineered to be.

As a new kind of monster threatens the world, has Amanda joined the dark forces?

Kelly must figure out how to destroy New Mother and reverse what she has done to the Kin children.

And how to react when a new/old friend reappears.

A-one!
