This shows that labels should not define you on where you should go. All it takes for one little idea to make sure that everyone can come together no matter what the label is.

I would use this to show students that it is ok to be different from others and how those differences should not keep us apart. Also, if you have an idea to try it out because you never know how far it will go!

This book is beautiful written and a perfect way to introduce young children to the value of understanding differences, having confidence and realizing that everyone has a place in the world - even if it is not apparent at first (which it hardly ever is).
