When write I tend to cross genres.(toss everything into the blender and hit frappe)It seems to work for me.
However, I never put pen to paper until I have most if not all of my story planned out in my head. I don't even make notes. Along the way the story may shift and change a little and certain characters may stand out more but the main body stays the same.
I'm having fun, I hope you are too.

OMG! I thought the other 2 Sav'ine Guard books were good, this one is fantastic! Totally different. Shows the other side of a Sav'ine when they are buy themselves. Totally a heart wrenching story with doing a spoiler alert. You learn more about different Corporations and what I call tribes, the difference in worlds and how they cope. I would recommend the book for anyone. Stacy Bender's imagination is just wonderful . I hope she keeps writing this series for a long time.
