The main character (the blond ponytailed guy - yeah, guy) is Aramiya Satoshi, who main ability is shapeshifting into any animal... though at a few points he has plants growing out of him, so my guess is he can shapeshift into any living thing (including an elephant and a lion) I'm not sure if he was naturally born that way or if he was a biological experiment. Anyway, he's a pretty easygoing guy who just wants to be left alone to enjoy his solitary life in the middle of a junkyard, but apparently some army or another is always after him because of his ability, though he is able to fight off entire tank battalions before breakfast.
The premise for the main character is better than the one shot as a whole. Perhaps if the story was stretched out to 100 or so pages long it would have time to develop the main character and his powers but I found it incredibly rushed even for a one shot. Not bad but it never had the time to develop into something great.
Es muy interesante y original, un desarrollo que muestra nuestra a actualidad y una forma creativa e inteligente de presentar a Apple en la historia, así como el valor de la amistad.
Honestly, I'm a big fan of Naoshi Komi. I started reading the One Shot of "Nisekoi", which left me a taste a little lacking, and then with the manga, which is pretty good. And now with the One Shot published three years before Nisekoi, "Apple".
This One Shot tells the story of the boy who will save the world from their "crisis" through their unique skills and with his friend Grimm (the smart boy). His name: Satoshi Aramiya, known as "Apple" -- The story shows a strong and exciting plot, approximately 50 pages which you'll love and enjoy.
The drawing is remarkable, the visual design of our two characters are very well developed and perfectly perceive the emotions of each one.
The personality of our characters is also a focal point that enhances the One Shot. The boy, Satoshi, with a calm personality -- is the kind of guy who just wants to live a peaceful life despite having "those powers". And Grimm, is a guy with an intelligence that surpasses all, with a strong determination to protect his friend.
In conclusion, I've really enjoyed this One Shot. Honestly, I would have liked that the Shonen Jump will serialize it, but the "manga world" is very complicated, and only "the popular manga" triumphs.
After this, I apologize for my spelling mistakes. I'm not very good at speaking English. Sorry.
Puntuation: Story: 9-Great. Art: 8.5-Very Good/Great (Very Good or Great? Impossible to decide) Character:9-Great. Enjoyment: 7-Good. Overall: 8-Very Good.
I read this on mangafox and wasn't pleased much with the translation. bit rusty? I think that's the word. Other than that I enjoyed the story line, it was interesting and unusual.Recommend it to those who enjoy a good piece of fantasy!
