With Papa Pacelli's 20th anniversary drawing near, Eleanora and her employees go above and beyond to plan a party equal to the one that her grandfather threw ten years ago. The day of fun and games is a huge success until one of the guests collapses with stomach pain and claims that the pizza has been poisoned. Danger seems to lurk around every corner, and Ellie is horrified when the same woman is found dead the next morning. Suspicion is cast upon Eleanora once again, and this time the accusations begin to damage business at the pizzeria. Desperate to keep the restaurant afloat, Ellie is determined to find the killer who is killing her business, but will it be enough to save her grandfather's beloved pizzeria?
When Cozy Mystery author, Patti Benning, isn’t busy plotting the deaths of multiple fictitious characters, she loves to spend time hiking with her rescue dog, Max, who is her bestest writing buddy.
Patti loves to cook and the food in her books has been tried and tested in her very own kitchen. She’s technologically shy, and stays away from social media a great deal, because it makes her feel more awkward and introverted than meeting someone face to face.
Writing is the perfect job for her because in her books, she gets to explore all the topics she loves, food, animals, crafts and reading. She loves her readers dearly, and is thankful for the opportunity to share with them through her work.

I would recommend this series and author to 👍 readers of romantic family and friends relationships mystery novels 👍🔰. 2024
I have been enjoying this series. They are short and easy to read but do each have a good plot. The characters are being developed as the series continues. There is a love interest beginning to develop between Elinor and the sheriff. The title gives the reader a hint of the type pizza to be featured. Elinor and Shannon work together to help solve the mystery of the death of the mayor's wife. A very surprising ending.
Chapter 15 & Chapter 16 are switched around in this edition!!
...This of course ruins the ending somewhat. If it wasn't for this error I would have enjoyed it even more. It is a wonderful edition to the Papa Pacelli's Pizzeria series.
Ellie, her grandmother, Ann and their employees are preparing to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Papa Pacelli's Pizzeria. When a distinguished guest falls ill and is rushed to the hospital, claiming she was poisoned and then is found murdered the next day, Ellie has to find the killer to save her business from going under.
These are endearing characters with a mixture of ages and backgrounds that work well together. The murder plots are twisted and keep you guessing until the final face to face reveal. The fast action makes this a perfect read anytime. Don't forget the wonderful pizza descriptions that will whet your appetite and keep you reading this series.
I lo e this series and did find the book as great as the rest of the series but unfortunately chapter 16 was planning ed before Chapter 15 so we got the ending before we found out how they got to the end. A five star read if you remember to skip chapter 16 and move on to 15 first
Interesting, yet slightly predictable. It follows a similar formula to previous books, although it does have a slight twist to it. Despite its predictability, it was enjoyable.
When Ellie’s friend told her it was about to be the 20th anniversary of the pizzeria and that her grandfather had thrown a big party for the tenth anniversary Ellie jumps into planning a party. When the mayors wife is taken away with food poisoning the pizzeria looks to be the source. Business takes a huge hit and Ellie digs in to try and solve it to save the store. Lots of action with a surprise ending.
The fourth of the series. Same great characters. Great storyline! Same great characters! Ellie finally gets a date night. Bunny goes on a diet. Ann starts working at the pizzeria. New menu items. And of course...a murder that Eleanora gets involved with against the Sheriff's caution.
I am still loving this series. Each is a short story, each is its own mystery but characters stories progress each book. Can be read as a stand alone. Nice relatable characters. Looking forward to the next book!
I loved it! Trying to get them all read, I really like this series but it makes me hungry. At the anniversary of the Pizzeria someone says they been poisoned then later ends up dead. Ellie and her best friend are on the case.
Quick reads that you can devour as well as all the description of pizza! Small-town cozy easy to read . if you are looking for a quick mystery this is an enjoyable experience.
This author has am impressive way of writing a fabulous story in a short book. The stories are always well written and include everything needed. Great characters, great plot, and I am anxious to read more!
This series was off to a great start and this new installment is just more of the same, a really good cozy. Ellie and the rest of the characters are great, Shannon, her nonna, Russell and her employees. I am always sad they are such a quick read but the new ones follow quickly and I am always left looking forward to the next one. This book was good like the others, and I really love just how much Ellie has been able to get the pizzaria back to it's former self after Xavier practically ran it into the ground. He also makes an appearance in this book but Ellie may just get the best revenge with her loyal employee's plan. Ellie and Shannon just can't help themselves when another murder happens. I really liked this book and romance is in the future for Ellie and Russell.
Another enjoyable plot at Papa Pacelli's pizzeria. A light, quick read and I enjoyed it a lot more than the last book, I didn't suspect the killer at all and the great ending capped off a great plot. Ellie's "romance" with the sheriff is picking up, and the Italian Wedding pizza sounded really good (I wonder they kept it on the menu?)
Overall, this is a cute and enjoyable series, and Italian Wedding Pizza is the best of the series so far.
When Shannon reminds Eleanora that Papa Pacelli’s 20th anniversary drawing near she sets off to make the party great. But when the mayor's wife gets ill during the party and then dies later she is suspected of murder. She is set on finding out who really did it and along the way get back at her competitors who are trash talking her and the the pizzeria.
With every book I enjoy this series more! This book is a fast read but with a well developed plot. The characters are enjoyable and easy to relate to. Murder strikes again at the pizzeria. Can Eleanora solve it in time? Nonna plays a bigger role in this book and I love that. Can't wait for the next book!
When Life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Twenty years is a long time to be open and when the celebration turns to tragedy Ellie thinks the pizzeria is done for good. That and with the antics of her competition. She does what she does best and saves the day. Love this series and the characters
I really did enjoy this book. Of course I had no idea who the killer was until the very end. I did enjoy seeing that Ellie was doing ablittle more than working but I don't see why she has to slove these murders...just kidding. The only thing I can say is that I wish the book would've ended with us knowing what happened with Xavier and his boss.
Patti Benning has done it again. Italian wedding Murder is a great read that brings you further into the pizzeria and it's employees. The characters are interesting and fun to read about. This series is really enjoyable and I look forward to reading the next book.
This series just keeps getting better. The author would have kept me in suspense as to who the killer was if chapter sixteen hadn't come before chapter fifteen, LOL! Still, I highly recommend this book. Highly suspenseful.
Another fabulous addition to this series. I love the characters and feel like I know them personally. The action is perfectly paced. I can't wait to see how her new employee develops.
I just love this pizzeria cozy mystery series! Each book gets better and better. Never a dull moment with Ellie and her grandmother. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
