Another good chapter in the series. In this one we see what happens when Mrs. Heller finds out that there was someone in the house may be more evil then her. I can't wait to find out what happens when Eric sees what happened his bedroom. Once again I love the mix of romance, smut, humor and horror that goes on in the stories of Thorne and Cross. There is a sense of anything goes in this series that I love and the ending to this one really got me wanting to read the next installment.

Rebecca Dane's Plan Revealed!

This is the chapter in the Ravencrest Saga we the readers have been anxiously waiting for! Finally Rebecca Dane's Plan and the reason behind her most recent sightings are revealed by the vengeful ghost herself. She has hinted at her need for revenge against Mrs. Heller, aka Chloe, her assistant from her days as the lady of the house who arranged her beheading. Now Rebecca, sensing that there is more to Belinda than meets the eye, sees the potential in the new governess and her centuries old hatred against the witch who betrayed her. But will Belinda agree to the demands of the former second wife of Edward Manning's or suffer the wrath of a ghost gone mad? The series also heats up as the forbidden and star-crossed romance between Eric and Belinda reaches a pinnacle, long awaited crescendo. The soapy drama continues to leave it's readers wanting more with another cliffhanger reminiscent of 1960's daytime storytelling.

Pulling my hair out at this stage... After the abrupt ending of this book when Rebecca Dane really shows what she's capable of, I realise there will be more than six books in this series - which mean more waiting. I'm never good at waiting for books!

Bedeviled continues the thorough plot and character development. When Rebecca shows herself this time, she also hints to the fact that Belinda is not quite what she seems. I'm wondering if somehow she is a descendent of someone important. That remains to be seen.

The pages of this book flew by. Grant ended the original problem with the undead, but that has come no where near denting the other problems in Ravencrest and one more book with less than 100 pages is going to resolve it. Now, I'm waiting with baited breath as I start part six, knowing that I'll be left hanging on a precipice until further parts are published.
