Great Hot read about River Brand and Morgan Morrison. Morgan has been and is hurt in this drama. Her past has left her with trust issues and they are tested in this book. River is the consummate playboy but he is driven to make Morgan his. However a mystery woman from his past is/has put a wedge in his pursuit of Morgan.
The heat between Morgan and River needs a constant flowing river to attempt to douse the flames. No luck, because these two are a category 4 each time they are in the same room.
Can't wait for part two...Morgan may find her life is forever changed by a revelation...

Let me start by saying I was sooo looking forward to this book. I preordered and then it was cancelled and then a year later back again. I still ordered it again. I was disappointed to learn it was a two part series but I figured the read would be worth it. To my knowledge part 2 has no expected release date which is sad.
All that said the story was pretty ok. I've come to expect the Brand Brothers to bring the heat and River did not disappoint. He and Morgan are like match to a fire. The chemistry is for sure off the charts.
Morgan is a bit annoying. She's I can handle it all one moment and whinny the next. I like her sister better. I do admire the way she's turning Z's company image around and I love that she's determined to be the mistress of her own fate.
2 stars mostly because of the cliffhanger with no end in sight and I'm not sure I care for River being portrayed as almost needy.

O. M. Geeeee!!!!
So, I waited to read this book until Part 2 was released. Best decision ever!!! I almost fell off the bed when I got to the end, and since it’s late, I’m going to have to force myself to go to bed, rather than starting Book 2 (which I really wanna do!). BUT, I’m super-glad that I don’t have to wait long to see what happens next, because I already know I’m in for a wild ride.
Although I wanted to shake Morgan a couple of times near the end of the book, I like her and River together. I woulda been pissed about River not explaining who ol’ girl was, but to entertain Isaiah because you’re mad? Nah, that guy is not the answer. And when your sister AND your bestie agree that he’s not the one, you’ve gotta listen.
So many unanswered questions that I’m looking forward to getting answers to in Book 2. Maureen Smith is a master storyteller and I’m eagerly looking forward to reading the rest of this love story.

Complicated
WAIT!! WHAT?!?!?!!!
That was my reaction when I finished this book.

I was hooked from the beginning. The chemistry between River and Morgan is off the charts. The tension is real throughout this book. There are so many secrets, not just with the main characters, but also the secondary cast of characters as well. This book is so full of drama, and I love it. Just when you think all is well in the world, Ms. Smith throws a huge boulder and BAM! instant chaos. There were so many things happening towards the end, I started yelling at the characters myself. Then the CLIFFHANGER… WAIT!! WHAT?!?!?!!!
I am never disappointed when reading Maureen Smith. Part Two…. here I come.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the characters and the storyline. Morgan and River are a great couple. How can he expect Morgan to trust him, when he won't open up and trust her with his truths. I recommend this book and can't wait for the next installment.

I totally enjoyed this story like I would any other Maureen Smith story. The cliffhanger ending has me biting at the bit for part 2! I can't wait to see wait is in store for me come 2017.

I'm sorry but I'm a hopeless romantic that expect certain things...
Authors expect an honest review so here is my review. Whatever You Need is phenomenal, and exciting read that had me on the edge of my seat but in my Heart it doesn't come close to being as wonderful as the previous two reads in the Brand Brothers Series.
I'm looking forward to book 2 so that I can have my happily ever after though.
If I have acquired haters by by review let me be clear , these are my disappointments

At the beginning of the read you stand true and proud in the phase if you can't be with the one you love f the one you're with.. After that it was so had for me to love River's character even though in the many wonderful scenes he tried to redeem himself.
Next Morgan at one time, I was wondering.... "How stupid are you? " If a Man feels truly guilty about something he will go extra lengths to hide it , like that unfortunate morning in St Lucia.
Wake up MORGAN !!
And is she so afraid of being alone that she is willing to give a 3% relationship a second chance. Because I now for a fact she didn't say YES !! But she didn't say no either.

But I will be happy with Viggo first.

Loved this love story with River Brand And Morgan Morrison.
It was a long time coming but well worth the wait; hoping the 2nd part will not be such a long wait.
As of now I have to say River is my favorite Brand. Loved the chemistry between he and Morgan, they are great together even with his bad boy playboy, love and leave attitude.
Morgan has been thru a lot with her ex-boyfriends leaving her with trust issues.
There's something mysterious going on with River and Alaina.
Isaiah I not sure what's going on with him. He's older by 10 years with Morgan don't think he really loves her.
Dr. Lavelle at first I thought she was good for Morgan, not sure now with the bombshell she dropped on her.
Loved the fireworks sexual scenes with Morgan and River they were off the charts whenever they were together and River is giving up his playboy ways for Morgan. I am rooting for Morgan and River.
What's going on with Duke and Sandrine? Is Skylar out of the picture where Duke is concern. Skylar is good at her job but not good enough for Duke, she seems to want him as a arm piece

Ohhhhh Mrs. Maureen step into my office.... omg I need book 2 today. I still say Remy is my favorite Brand but that damn River is in a close second. Where did this Alaina chic come from? What's up with Duke and old girl? Tell Daphne to sit down somewhere there's a new girl in town and her name is Mona (hearts). I'm so mad with Morgan for saying yes! Please tell me what is River's big dilemma? I don't believe he was unfaithful. Oh Lawd my heart is beating fast. As always Maureen put that pen to paper and made it HAPPEN! BUT, WAIT... NEVERMIND... The storyline and writing was good. However, for the life of me I can't understand why the book is in two parts. Was this necessary? And with no timeline set for part two. I hope Ms Smith takes not of the reviewers comments. She needs to complete her sequels. Ms Smith, stop teasing your readers for years and years. It is very frustrating. At first it was exciting, but quite frankly, I am getting fed up. The time spent on This I Promise You, which was an unnecessary and unexpected sequel, could have been spent on the completion of this story. I hope part two is to be released soon.

HOT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT FOR THIS BOOK!!!
River and Morgan....Wowzers!! Morgan is definitely more complex than I thought; I truly don't think her nor River are what people actually see of them. They're both hiding deep pain and you catch glimpses of that when they allow you to "see" them.
But OMG....THAT ENDING! I think I read it with my mouth open the entire time!! Maureen Smith put her foot in this book...up to the knee, y'all!!!

OMG!
Maureen has just become my number 1 romance author! This book was all that and then some. Seriously HOT page turner! Only negative is that there's a part 2 that's not available yet. I loved Morgan and River together and am looking forward to the completion of this story.

Oh my goodness. I have never been disappointed by any of Maureen Smith's books and this is no exception. Great characters, hot sex and great scenes. I hate that I have to wait for the conclusion of this story. Maureen hurry up with the book.

Another phenomenal job. Ms. Smith has once again taken Romance to another level. I was not expecting that little cliffhanger at the end, but Bring on book 2. .... A must Read people.....
