Rate this book
Will Hayes didn't need religion or God. In fact, he wasn't so sure God even existed. He considered himself an atheist, putting faith and hope in no one but himself. He'd led a life of skepticism, with little or no regard for spirituality--that is, until he died. Now he cowers in the darkness, crying out in pain and disbelief. He inches forward, his heart pounding at the sudden appearance of flames on the horizon. This couldn't be Hell, could it? This is a good read. It kept my interest, and each character was well developed. I am very familiar with people like Will, and I kept expecting him to give in. Brenda took the road no one wants to think about, but we all should spend more time analyzing. The story was a little slow-moving, but it was so similar to many of our lives. We just keep going forward, thinking everything is fine when it isn’t. It takes a life-changing event to grab our attention to focus on the eternal. Good Job – Well Done

Is God real or does He only exists for those people who don't understand life?

A very sad story that gives you insight into a couple who believes God exists, but had no faith in him. All the problems they went through in life was seen as punishment from an uncaring God. God was always putting people and things in their path trying to show them He loved them and cared for them. This book was unlike any I have read, it will make you think more about how you feel about God and if He is real. Please read and see if it helps you see clearer.

Awesome story. If only you believe with your whole heart.

I love reading Christian fiction books. It's like someone is giving you a glimpse of what it could be of you don't change and how Gods unfailing, and unconditional love is always available.. I think God is using this author to earn all who read this book. I recommend this book to all people, especially New Christians.

My sister pushed me to read this book. Nothing could have prepared me for the life situations I read. I could see my sons in this book. Very engaging and hard to put down. My sister read it in one setting. I wanted it to ...... But it wasnt. Life flashing.

Heaven or Hell?

Heaven is real and so is Hell. The choice is ours. Which will you choose? Will you accept or reject Jesus free gift of salvation? Death happens for each of us. Where will your soul spend eternity?

I first thought this would be a redemption story, but it turns out to be a warning of God's plan for unrepentant sinners. Page turning!

Riveting, Powerful

This gave a good explanation of hell. If you have someone who doesn't believe maybe this will help them become a believer.

I couldn't put this book down. Brenda gripped me with the amazing way she captured the everyday life of everyday people. Some of the character's actions were so mundane that you barely grasped the long term consequences. At first I found myself siding with Will, then I thought he was being way too stubborn, then I wondered at how similar he seems to some people I know. By the time I finished with story I was overwhelmed with a renewed sense of awe of how much I've been saved from, and of how bad the bad news is. I was equally burdened with a renewed desire to pray for people I know how have rejected Jesus. I have often thought that heaven is going to be far better than all I can think or imagine. I never before stopped to think that the same is true of hell--far worse than we can think or imagine. Thank you Brenda for writing this amazing and difficult book.
