Retired Army Colonel Thomas Sand returns home from Europe in the middle of a national meltdown. It soon becomes apparent that many of the catastrophes hitting America have been orchestrated at the highest levels of government with the support of the elite who haunt the Deep State.
The men in the shadows aren’t content to take over America. They want the entire world under their control.
His country needs him, but Thomas has only one goal—to reunite and protect his family. It won’t be easy. His wife, son and daughter are scattered in two different states. His old comrades have become his enemies. And someone put him on a kill list.
There’s nothing for him to do but keep calm—and return fire.
* * * Home Port continues the story that began in Blind Spot and should be read following books 1-3 in Long Haul Home (available as the Long Haul Home collection).
I think it was well written and the characters very real it didn't have to much gore or sex stuck to life I hope there is more don't like hanging on a rope I like conclusions
I'm always searching for a hero like Reacher. Thomas Sand is pretty close. Most books end after everyone settles in. This one keeps going with new problems to solve. Now where is book 5? I read the first four in 2 days so it's probably better book 5 isn't out. I have to get ready for Christmas!
Well, I raced through the first 5 books Dana wrote. I was worried that this book Home Port hadn't been written yet. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was available, and it definitely did not disappoint. It was every bit as good as its predecessor's! If not, better! The only bad part was that with it being such a page turner I raced through it so fast that I am now chomping at the bit for the next sequel! And hopefully, many more after that! Thank you Dana Fraser for tons of enjoyment! Sincerely, Jim Cunningham
If you miss out on reading this series then you have really lost out. It's good from the first page on. The first book was so good I didn't think this one could compare needless to say boy was I wrong. Damn fine writing.
