Rate this book
Found from Alaska to New England, moose, the largest living member of the deer family, are the biggest of the big game animals of North America. Did you know that a large bull moose can top the scales at a whopping 1,400 pounds and stands a towering six to seven feet tall?

But it’s not just its body that makes the moose such an enormous, imposing figure. For example, the Alaskan moose, the giant of the species, has antlers that can exceed six feet across.

This book is incredibly informative, and the pictures are gorgeous! Being an all around good read, I have to say it has some very humorous moments. The only complaint I have is that it was a bit repetitive at times; however, that does not take away from the wealth of information present in the book. It is well worth your time if you can find a copy. I do believe it is out of print.
