Ross Quincy sells gym memberships, and does it well. When he's offered the opportunity of a lifetime, one that will pay for an MBA and net him an easy six figures a year, he jumps at the chance. But then people vanish, he's approached by the FBI, and he finds himself stuck in the middle of a horrible conspiracy headed by an evil oligarch with monstrous plans for the future of the United States, and Ross Quincy is the only one who can stop him.
This is a wonderfully written and scary book! The beginning really hooks you in and makes you want to find out the story behind the brutal acts. Since I've never been on that side of sales, I didn't understand some of the sales/ economics references, but that didn't prevent me from from understanding what was happening. It is very fast paced and you won't want to put it down.
Jacob Mesmer has produced another doozy! Another amazing idea that seems scarily possible, well written. I was slightly disappointed with the abruptness of the ending and would have liked a few more pages there, but overall the book was a great reading experience. I'm planning to read more of this author's work.
