M. B. Feeney is an army brat who finally settled down in Birmingham, UK with her other half, two kids and a dog. She often procrastinates by listening to music of all genres and trying to get ‘just one more paragraph’ written on whichever WIP is open; she is also a serious doodler and chocoholic. Writing has been her one true love ever since she could spell, and publishing is the final culmination of her hard work and ambition.
Her publishing career began with two novellas, and she currently has multiple projects under way, in the hopes that her portfolio of what have been described as “everyday love stories for everyday people” will continue to grow. Always having something on the go can often lead to block which eventually gets dissolved by good music and an even better book.
Her main reason for writing is to not only give her readers enjoyment, but also to create a story and characters that stay with readers long after the book is finished, and possibly make someone stop and think “what if . . . ”

February 6, 2017Skipping reviews for my own contributions to this set, but want to leave my thoughts for my co-authors. Will edit this as I work my way through the boxset.
(1) MILE HIGH by M.B. Feeney ~5 stars~
Short. And hot. Mile High pulls no punches, just like its leading lady Taryn Caine. She's independent and single, and not afraid to go after what she wants--including taking care of her sexual urges.
Despite this quick read being Feeney's first foray into erotica, the smart wit and terrific character banter I've come to expect from her other works is still present.
Mile High is the perfect 'pick me up' to pass the time or get you in the mood ;)
(2) REVENGE by E.M. Denning ~4 stars~
Girl has bad break up. Girl goes on the rebound with a one night stand. Girl finds out said ONS has become her stepbrother. And that's just the beginning. What follows is the erotic unfolding of a relationship which seems doomed from the start. However, like most underdog stories, you'll be rooting for Summer and Hunter's happily ever after by the end.
(3) BIND ME — Rene Folsom ~3 stars~
Written in “one shot” fashion, i.e. no chapters, this quick read is great if you want to rev your engine. Light BDSM themes and plenty of sexy times are included. Unfortunately, for me, shifting tenses and other minor editorial issues were a distraction that kept pulling me from the story.
(4) EROTIC LIAISON — Xaviera Snow ~3 stars~
If you’re looking for steam with flames, a story your grandma wouldn’t approve of you even reading, then this story is for you. Just sayin’. Erotic Liaison is a spicy tale with light BDSM elements. The ‘author’ is also the heroine of the story, which makes for a more personal read since that fourth wall comes down on occasion. However, as an advocate of the BDSM lifestyle, I did take issue with the lack of communication and negotiated consent on behalf of the heroine, who, I must point out, never seemed overly bothered. That is to say, she was more interested in exploring her piqued sexual curiosity than questioning the right or wrong of it all. Explicit sex scenes, so if you’re easily offended, beware. *wink*
