Only good thing, heroine’s not a doormat, but she’s a GIANT pushover and have worse treacherous body syndrome than a HP h.
She has no power of saying no to the hero.
And she calls any woman seen with her man a slut, even if it’s HER man who had their arms draped around them and then still let’s her MAN touch her.
So no, not my definition of strong woman. A strong woman doesn’t unnecessarily slut-shame someone they don’t even know.
Hero is a douche too. Not too respectful. He uses OW to make h jealous but feels the OW is too dumb? Because she has a screeching voice and she made a comment that he and his brothers all look the same? He goes all high and mighty “duh! We’re all brothers you dumb bimbo” on her. And my question was: SO THE FUCK WHAT???? It’s somehow normal to have your xerox copies hanging around you and small talk is somehow stupid???
Also both these MCs, God! If whining was in olympics, they’d have won platinum!
And the moment by grown up ass adult characters text “how’s you” to each other, I am outta there!!!!!!

Inicie esta novela motivada por las grandes puntuaciones que vi aqui en Goodreads, por lo visto todo el mundo habia amado esta historia .... pero para mi fue una completa decepcion, en Soulmates encontre un libro plano, aburrido, predecible y tan profundo como una piscina infantil.
Honestamente no entiendo las grandes puntuaciones ( y reseñas ), esta novela no me parecio ninguna maravilla ni tampoco novedosa u original, e incluso me atreveria a decir que he leido historias cortas con un mejor desarrollo.
La protagonista femenina, Taylor es insoportable e inmadura, se pasa todo el libro justificando su comportamiento infantil y desagradable con el hecho de que su madre no le dio amor de pequeña y que tuvo una infancia dura, como si eso lo justificara todo y Chris, es un personaje taaan ideal que me resulto soberanamente fantasioso y aburrido.
La trama no mejoro mi opinion, me resulto repetitiva y sin chispa, lo unico agradable que le encontre es que pese a tener bastantes capitulos, tiene un ritmo agil y fluido.
En fin, Soulmates no fue lo que imaginaba y estoy segura de que dentro de un par de semanas apenas recordare nada de este libro, pero si quieres leerlo, adelante, quizas tu lo disfrutes mas que yo.

This is Sienna Grant's second book and another fabulous read that is rich with emotion.
Chris and Taylor are in a "friends with benefits" kind of relationship. But what happens, when one wants more than just the no-stings fling, that they both agreed to all those months ago? The other isn't so sure and is fighting the inevitable at every opportunity. She's convinced that she's a selfish person, unworthy of being loved; thanks in large part to the heartless, selfish woman that walked away from her when she was a child, without even a second thought.
Well I tell ya what happens...well actually, I won't! I will let you read all about the push and pull relationship between Chris and Taylor on your own. I would hate for you to miss out on some of the emotionally charged scenes and the hot n' steamy sex scenes. Two scenes that instantly come to mind will leave your lady parts tingling for sure. Two words. Taxi. Strawberries. That's it! That's all you're getting from me!
I will tell you, that I loved this real-life situation love story. The emotions were real and on many occasions really hit home for me. Sienna had me crying, laughing and everything in between. I love her ability to take a story and make it meaningful with lots of depth. All the characters are involved in the larger part of the story in one way, shape or form, and they are all well developed.
While Taylor does have her insecurities, she is a rather strong and independent woman. And I think she was determined to coast through life on her own. However, Chris' persistence and determination showed her, she didn't have to go it alone. He proved to her time and time again that he would be there for her - despite her pushing so hard in the opposite direction. I absolutely loved Chris for his willingness to stick by her.
There were many lessons in here too...the biggest one being that of forgiveness. Forgiveness isn't for the person who wronged you, it's for you! So that you can let go of what happened and move on with your life, hopefully in a forward and positive direction.
So I guess the long and the short of it is.... you should absolutely take a chance on Soulmates, you won't be disappointed.

I was eagerly awaiting Soulmates from Sienna Grant after her debut novel Picking Up the Pieces being such an emotive book.
I'll be honest, I haven't read a good romance book in a while, and having been in a major slump over the festive period I was worried.... but I needn't have - this book honestly evoked so many emotions from me, and I found myself starry eyed, awe struck and generally feel-good book mushy. Just what you want from a perfect love story!
This dual perspective story, sees Taylor (or Tays) and Chris move their relationship from being a no strings fling to something else. Despite Taylor's concerns. She has baggage from her childhood, that happens to rear its head again in the story, which jut makes for the even more gripping storyline that Sienna Grant gives us. But Chris refuses to leave her side. To let down. To push her away, despite her stubbornness....

I urge you to take a chance on this story....it's so much more than just your average romance....it's a story about acceptance, challenges, facing our pasts head on, and finding happiness in the darkest of places (even if that is difficult to accept!). Wow, this is the second book I have read by Sienna Grant... And it was amazing. I loved it, Sienna has a way of adding just the right amount of emotions into her books. I can't wait for more from Sienna in the future.

I really want to like this book, but I am very particular with the pace of the storyline. Let me explain using my characters-plot-pace-ending system.
So the characters were interesting – a guy who wants commitment, and a girl who doesn’t. Usually I am drawn to MLs like this, but the FL may be annoying at times. 4 points
The plot is also interesting – friends with benefits until one falls, but it was sort of a cliché. Still, I’m going to give it a 4.
The pace is what made this book hard to rate. I know I was given an ARC, so I already expect some errors in punctuations, and maybe that affected the phrasing, but it’s just too much for me. I find some scenes rushed and not convincing, and the pacing is usually what affects my rating. I wasn’t able to finish the book because I find the pace distracting. Sorry, but pace is a 2.
Overall, it seemed like a good book, but it’s just wasn’t for me. I’ll still recommend it to my friends I know will love it.

This book was such a fun and easy read, but it's also one of those books with some tears and you may lose a piece of your heart. This was the first book I've read from Sienna and it was great!
The story between Chris and Taylor was so real! The amount of detail the author uses to describe the people and the scenes really make this book! I knew exactly what all the characters were thinking at all times! I love books with no confusion! The storyline was right on. Even though I felt like there was no major gut-wrenching-need-to-read-as-fast-as-I-can events in this book, it didn't need it. I felt like I could take my time and still never want to put the book down because it kept my attention the whole time.
I will definitely be reading all future books from her as well :)

Another fab read from Sienna Grant. Soulmates is a friends to lovers romance told in a dual POV about love, heartbreak and everything in between.
Chris and Taylor have had a friends with benefits relationship for quite some time, but Chris wants a serious relationship with Taylor only she doesn't want to get involved, she has build a wall around her heart afraid to let anyone in and getting her heart broken.... Taylor has had a pretty rough childhood after her mother abandoned her and her father. To be honest I wasn't a fan of Taylor's in the beginning but the more I read the more she grew on me. I related so much with Taylor having had my mother walk out on me too, Sienna really hit home with this one for me. She certainly knows how to pull at the heartstrings. 5 emotional stars

oh wow this book is amazing this is only sienna's second book and I didn't think it was gonna be as good as picking up the pieces cause i adore that book but no it surprised me and I have to say I like it more than picking up the pieces.
Taylor is a cracking female lead she is strong and feisty and independent.
Chris wow oh wow I fell in love this guy sexy firefighter and just sooo sweet.
Taylor and Chris have a friend's with benefits relationship and it gets awkward as Chris has feelings for Taylor but she doesn't want a relationship as she feels she can't love anyone cause of the relationship she has with her mom who is such a cow u kinda understand why Taylor is the way she is.
I hope chris's brothers get books as I would to read their backstory especially todd's story. And the sex in this book is off the charts hot beware u might need a change of panties lol.

Chis and Taylor are friends with benefits. While Chris has gotten attached taylor has gotten scared. Watching Chris be there for Taylor as her mom continuously hurts her was amazing. Feeling the raw emotions as Taylor struggles will leave you in tears.

Amazing!!!!!! I loved Taylor and Chris’s story. It was touching, sexy and so easy to connect with the characters.
Taylor has commitment issues due to her mum not being loving towards her and leaving when she was 10 years old. She just wants to have easy friends with benefits relationships, but Chris wants more.
Chris has pretty much been in love with Taylor since they met, he went along with the friends with benefits thing because he would take her anyway he could, but now he wants more, he just needs to convince Taylor.
Taylor does not give in easily, especially when her estranged mother comes back and stirs up old feelings. Can Chris get through Taylor’s walls and prove to her she is worth more?
Sienna Grant is an amazing author, if you haven’t read her books you need to! Cannot wait for more.

Soulmates was my first read of Sienna's books. I'm so glad I read this! I could not put it down. I cried, more than once. Sienna writes with such emotion that you can't help but feel what the characters are experiencing.
A girl that feels incapable of love and a firefighter that's crazy about her. What more could you want?? Their story is different; definitely emotional and raw.
I'd recommend this to anyone that wants a steamy read that will captivate you.

This is my second read by Sienna Grant and I loved it just as much as the first!
Grant has a talent of effortlessly blending sexy and emotional charged scenes and writes them in a way which makes for one seriously engaging read from start to finish.
Soulmates has all the ingredients for a super stories, which sizzles but also tugs on the heart strings.
The story centers around Chris (a hunky firefighter) and Taylor (a sassy, and funny female lead). The chemistry between them was great, and so was the dialogue between them.
I loved that the author allowed the reader to see a deeper connection between the two main characters, what starts out as merely a physical connection naturally evolves into something more.
Chris ticks all the boxes for perfect book boyfriend material; determined, sweet, dedicated and sexy. Despite Taylor's issues, she never annoyed me. I empathised with her, and was rooting for this couple to get their HEA.
Overall, Sienna Grant has written another great, swoon worthy story that had me tearing up at times, but left me with a big smile and all the happy feels.

Im not going to sit here and tell you all about the book because you need to read it for yourself. You need to be able to experience, the way I did the emotional rollercoaster Sienna Grant takes you on.
Her characters and strong yet a little broken too. I won't pretend it didn't shed a tear for Taylor and the s**t she was dealt because i did....but I was also right there with her giving her a massive high 5 when against her own insecurities and self doubt she chose to give Chris a chance.
This is a story of how a young girl with a past, a past that some of us may relate to chose to rise above it all and be the better person. She chose to not let her past define her. She made some mistakes along the way but thats life. She could be one of us and I believe this is one of the reasons this book worked because it could so easily be you or me Sienna Grant was writing about so beautifully.
Chris is the kinda guy we all hope our own little girls find to keep them warm at night and sheltered from the sometimes cruel world.

Hot fireman that makes you swoon through the whole book, what more do ya need? From the first page until the last I was hooked, I couldn't put this book down until I completely finished. It's been a very long time that I have found a book that I can relate to the female character so much, well with this book I realized Taylor and I was pretty much the same person. It's like the author was writing about me. And don't even get me started on Chris I fell for him instantly it was like love at first sight. If you want an amazing book with an amazingly beautiful love story with some very hot parts thrown in then this book is for you. So go one click it now. It's a must read and I have a feeling at the end of this year, this book will be on the top of my favorites list. It's already in my top 6 of all time favorites and Chris is already one of my top book boyfriends. I'm highly excited to see what this author comes up with next she blew it out of the park with this one. Absolutely perfect love story with lots of hotness. *Sigh* I'm totally in love with this book.

Taylor's backstory broke my heart. Bring a mom myself I can't imagine treating my child the way she was treated. It really broke my heart. I LOVED watching her grow, and accept her true worth. And accepting Chris's love.

Due to events in Taylor's past she's very insecure when it comes to love. She thinks she's not good enough to love which is understandable because of her past. Despite this though she's also strong, loyal, independent and very caring.
Then we've got Chris, the guy who wants to break through Taylor's defences, knock down the steel wall around her heart and help her to love again. He's also very strong, loyal and caring but add in to this his stubbornness, patience and willingness to help Taylor sort through her issues and you get one hell of an emotional story!
I loved everything about this, the plot was amazing, the characters were superbly written and the story flowed brilliantly too!
This is only the second book by Sienna i've read but she's definitely becoming an author i'll auto one click!!

The second book by this new author.
We meet Taylor, a feisty young woman determined to never have a long term relationship, believing that who ever she loves will leave her. Damaged as a child by her mothers lack of interest and cruel neglect Taylor struggles to believe she is loveable.
Chris is everything a young woman wants, a hot fireman with a heart of gold. He loves Taylor and is tired of just being a bed partner when Taylor feels like it. So he puts his heart on the line and tells her he wants her for keeps.
We get to see Taylor's insecurities and Chris's tenacity, the fight, they love and they deserve a happy ever after.
This is a light, easy read with other characters desperate to have their stories told.
Sienna writes passionately and I can only see her books getting better and better.

A dysfunctional emotionally stunted Taylor, ruined by her past abandonment of her heartless money grabbing mother who taught her only one thing; and that was never to fall in love, and she'll never get hurt. Unfortunately for her, Chris doesn't give a crap and stops it nothing to be her man. And she bends, after the counsel of her Father and her best friend who just want to see her happy. This piece is lovely in many ways, I for one love to watch people grow, fight through issues and struggles and come out at the end still fighting.
This book is deffo one for my 2017 Must Reads.

WOW, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Soulmates is the second Sienna Grant book I have read and is definitely my new favourite. This is a gorgeous romance, with more than a few hot scenes, the plot is easy to follow and the writing style was such that it keep me totally engaged, I didn't want to put it down.
This is the story of Taylor, a graphic artist, and Chris, a fire fighter. They have a friends with benefits arrangement, predominately due to Taylor not wanting to commit to a relationship, have grown up in a motherless home following her parents divorce. But Chris want more.
How does he convince Taylor to give him a chance? You'll have to read the book.

I couldn't wait to read Soulmates by Sienna Grant, and I was definitely not disappointed. This story was so sweet and had the perfect mix of sexiness added in.
Taylor comes off as a strong independent women on the outside but on the inside she is emotionally damaged due to her mom leaving her at such a young age. This causes her to only ever want a friend with benefits kind of relationship. That is where Chris comes in. He is the sweet sexy firefighter that just wants a chance to prove that he loves her and will never hurt her.
Can he get through the walls Taylor built around her heart, or is she damage beyond repair?
I highly recommend everyone read this book. The story was so beautifully written and had characters you couldn't help but fall in love with.

SOULMATES is a beautiful, soul breaking, tender true to life emotional read.
It's a story for friends with benefits relationship between Chris (the hot fireman) & Taylor (the strong willed, independent young woman). When one wants more, can the other bring down those walls that have for so long been up to protect their heart.
It's an emotional read in parts, & as a mum I really struggled with parts of the story. But Sienna Grant has a way with her words, that you just keep reading through the emotional tears.
I won't tell you how this story ends, as for me, you need to give this author a go & read this amazing book yourself.

Chris is a sexy firefighter, with a huge romantic side to him.Taylor has some big trust issues when it comes to relationships of any kind. Chris and Taylor have been friends with benefits for quite sometime. Chris wants more of a relationship with Taylor but she is very against having anything more she is afraid of getting hurt. Taylor's mom's i could slap her who treats there daughter like she did . Thank goodness for her dad stepping up to be both mom and dad to her. There was great secondary characters todd, adam, ryan ashley . Can't wait to read more about these characters in the next book.

I am leaving an honest review on an advanced readers copy of this book Soulmates by Sienna Grant. I do believe this is the first book I have read by Sienna and I feel in love with it. I really love the dynamic of Chris and Taylor's story. Chris and Taylor are what you call friends with benefits in the beginning. Chris wants have a serious relationship with Taylor, but Taylor have issues and is afraid of letting her guard down and getting her heart her. I really believe if you bought this book you would love it.
