This is a cozy mystery, and this is the 5th book in the Amish Inn Mysteries series. I have really loved the other book in this series, but I have to say I did not like this one. I did not feel close to anyone in the book. I hope the next book is better. I did not love the mystery in this book. (*)

It’s a perfect day for a wedding, and everything is wonderful, except for one thing: the groom is missing. And so begins another adventure for Liz and the Material Girls. It’s a nice cozy mystery, with delightful characters and a good plot.

To Love and to Vanish is an amazing mystery written by Tara Randel in the Amish Inn Mystery series. I enjoyed getting to know the wonderful characters involved in this story. Most of the characters are very likeable. Back in Pleasant Creek Indiana at the Old Mansion Inn you will find Liz Eckardt preparing for an intimate wedding with the help of her quilting group, The Material Girls. As the morning of the wedding approaches everyone is filled with excitement until they discover the groom is missing. What has happened to him? He seemed a little stressed but not enough to miss the wedding. As Liz and her friends start to unravel this mystery it will lead you to someplace way off the beaten path. The author has done a great job telling this story thru her characters. This is definitely a page Turner and will keep the readers interest. Solving this mystery is a huge challenge for Liz.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful mystery that I can highly recommend to others.

A young couple want to get married at the inn, but the groom all of a sudden disappears. And while everyone is trying to find the groom, the parents of the groom are in an accident; his father is a judge. Are the two connected, and if so, who is behind it?

In the meantime, Liz and Naomi are trying to befriend some of the elderly in a home for them, but there are strange things going on there. Will Liz and Naomi be able to figure out what is going on and why?

If you love mysteries, serials, chick books and books written by Christians you should like this book.

This book can be read by anyone.

Excellent book! Was one if the best so far in the series. Intriguing and exciting, trying to figure out the disappearance of the groom on the wedding day. Who was the most likely suspect? Was it related to his father, the Judge, getting even for past court decisions? Or was it something the groom himself, was involved in? What was really going on. But as time went on, they all knew the likely if the groom’s chances of being found, and being found breathing and alive, were becoming slimmer and slimmer. Just so very edge of your seat what was the final outcome going to be!

It's probably a little more than 3 stars for me but closer to 3 stars than 4.

The book starts with a planned wedding, but the groom doesn't show up.

I don't like that people assume the police won't do their jobs. In this case, I can't tell if the police aren't doing their job or if Liz is just the one who happens to figure things out slightly sooner than the police.

I did guess one of the perpetrators but my guess wasn't totally correct.

"To Love and to Vanish (Amish Inn Mysteries #5)" by Tara Randel has Liz investigating the disappearance of groom on his wedding day. There's lots of interacting with a local retirement center that I hope we get to see more of some of their regulars in future books. However, as usual and despite the series name, there was a bare minimum of Amish to this book. It's a bit disappointing really. I can't really go into much detail as it would lead to spoilers.

This was adorable! I enjoyed the quaint setting, the characters, the food, and the overall cozy vibe. This is my first book by Tara Randel. I read it because my mother, who passed away, left her books to me. This was one of them. I see that there are others in the series. I will be reading them.

3 1/2 stars for this one... This is #5 in the series and the last one I have been given. They have been sweet and fun. I am a little sorry to say goodbye to the characters in these. I hope there will be more in the future.

Totally surprising ending. Characters in the book thought it was one of two other characters, I thought it was a third character. Turns out we were all right.

The groom vanishes on his wedding day. Could the seniors at the senior center be involved?

Not a book I'd read again. I should have had this finish in a day, but it just couldn't hold my attention.
