Sometimes falling under is the only way to reach the top.
Olivia has lived a life of privilege, but she's always stayed grounded and known she's not better than anyone. Being used as nothing more than a status symbol for her family, she's always been alone in the world.
Mason has one priority; get enough money to make sure his sister lives. He'll go to the very depth of depravity to make sure the one person who means everything to him keeps breathing ... even if that means taking Olivia and ransoming them off.
But now that he has Olivia he realizes this isn't as cut and dry as he thought it would be. He's starting to care for her, and he can see in her eyes she's right there with him.
Their lives colliding might not have been in the traditional sense, but it's exactly what they both needed.
They are exactly what they both needed.
Mason has no problem going to hell and back to get vengeance on the ones who took everything he's ever cared about. Blood and violence are what he's good at, after all.

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
This was such an insane read. I love the writing styles of Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent together, for they write a plot in perfect harmony. Mason and Oliva are fantastic together—their chemistry is sizzling and the insta-love that Mason has for Olivia is something that drew me in immediately. There is this tingling sexual tension that brews between Olivia and Mason. Mason is very much a possessive alpha male and shows it when he kidnaps Olivia. But why did he kidnap her and would she forgive him? This love story is unique and steamy; I loved every thrilling, steamy, intense moment and was sad when the book ended. I will say that there were one or two moments when the story did lag for a few moments but it immediately picked right back up and got into the drama of the storyline. Ms. Snow and Ms. Crescent have a great style when it comes to writing and it reflects in this story. I can't wait to read what they will come out with next!!
This book was okay... I did enjoy moments of it yet I found myself liking it more towards the end. I found that the concept behind the plot was interesting and I have not read anything like it before, yet I felt like it was too rushed and it would of been better if the plot was more developed and was made to be slightly more believable. I just found it hard to believe that a woman who has been kidnapped and held against her will for ransom falls for her kidnapper and is willing to help him out that easily. I also didn't like the characters as much as some others I have read in other books by the author. However, I did still read the whole book even though it was a short read and I did like Jenika Snow's writing as per usual.
This book felt a little bit half-baked. It had one too many (either far-fetched or illogical) twists for me. I would have enjoyed more serene and less complicated story, centered on relationship development between main characters.
2.5 stars I liked parts of this story but I am disappointed to say that I wasn’t gripped. I thought both the hero and heroine were ok but I didn’t fall in love with them. I genuinely felt for Mason, his love for his sick sister made him do a stupid thing – kidnap a billionaire’s daughter. I liked that Olivia was determined to help Mason, but when it was too late she still wanted to protect the man she quickly fell in love with. The pace of the story was fast and in parts they confused me. I was happy with the ending; I will admit that the ending and epilogue was the best part of the book for me. I guess I wanted more to the story, I wanted Laura to be ok or a bit more fight to try and save her.

The only genre not in this is a tattooed mafia MC aliens warriors. And it still dragged
Go read a real dark read like the Captive series. This isn't it
I love Jenika Snow books. I can't get enough. I am not into the collabs with this particular author though.
Jenika's writing style in this book reads like a beautiful rose bush being choked by the poison ivy that surrounds it....
Imma avoid any more collab books from these two as I can't work up enough energy to like or finish the books that come out of this indie author joining. The plot is great and this book could have been a scorcher. Instead it feels like a bowl of unappetising soggy cornflakes - story, yes, but not in a good way.
Why so mean? Because both writers are good, Jenika regularly hits it out the park especially her A Real Man. (Take a look at VirginLumberjack or my abfab favourite Experienced of the series.)
But this book...it just doesn't work for me with these authors together.
Jenika, pluhleeeeze honey.. Really luv your style but....Don't do this again. Evah. Ever. Evverrr.
I really do not enjoying this book. All of the character wasn't good to me. Boring and weak and pathetic group of useless. The problem was too tight and the solution was an EPIC FAILED. It was like child play to me. All of the character. But I hate most was the weak heroine. Shallow personality, almost not described very well.
The plot itself, for me, was a big mess! Doesn't make any sense and seems so forced. Tight-chested reading definitely not recommended for you who usually read SC's and JS's sweet and hot. This book wasn't sweet at all. Even the bed scenes was lack of chemistry.
Mason would do anything to protect and take care of his sister, but he needed money to make sure that she lived. So he decided to kidnap Olivia and ransom her off.
What he didn't see coming was that the person she was he would fall in-love with her and regret what he did. But he also didn't understand why she wasn't close to her family and why she thinks they wouldn't pay her ransom
Short, fast paced story, liked it more towards the end when all the action was happening.
I love the work of these two ladies, both as co authors and their individual writings. Having said that , I want to leave an honest review of this book. I liked this story. At first it was hard to get into for me. Insta love stories can be good but this one the dialogue threw me off. As I kept reading the story got better and turned out to be really good. Loved the characters . Loved the action . All in all a good read.
Yet another great book by Jenika Snow!!! Jenika is one very talented writer!! You will never be disappointed by anything she writes. A definite must read!! I just absolutely loved it and can't wait to read what she will come out with next!! Happy Reading!! :)
Absolutely loved Falling Under!!! Mason is a complete alpha male who is trying to save his sister life. In order to do that he kidnaps Olivia for ransom. He didn't expect feelings to get in the way. This couple has to fight for what they want.
I like my characters complicated Jenika Snow seems to as well. I've found that some of her books I have loved, there have been 1 or 2 that I didn't appreciate as much but I found this 1 well worth reading. I would recommend this to anyone who isn't overly sensitive about the dark, the topic of sex and the road those things can take you.
