With nearly 200 short stories, several novels and novellas in print, hot and spicy, Candy Caine keeps her husband, Robert, on his toes in their Long Island, NY home. Supportive with her writing career, he’s always willing to help her make certain the scenes in her stories are authentic. After all, technique is so important for good writing. When asked why she began to write, Candy says: “I’ve always loved books and my biggest thrill is to bring the joy of reading to others. That’s what writing is all about.” Candy is the alter ego of Candace Gold. While Candace usually writes the less erotic books, Candy is the one who writes the erotica and does her best to curl poor Candace’s hair.

Wow! Hot, sexy and completely a treat to read. The blurb mentions Ariel indulging in her fantasies, but desires and I really felt as if I was the one indulging in this book. There we so may sexy and intense moments that I found myself unable to put the book down, and actually finished all of it in one night. It may have been past my bedtime, but I couldn't go and leave A&R hot and bothered, lol.

Caine's writing is perfect for this genre. The story is very showing and also very to the point, in a very, very good way. I felt the pointedness of the writing really matched Ariel's attitude and behaviour. I also liked that, in minimal words, the author was able to completely paint a picture for me, and keep me completely intrigued.

The pace matched the style of the story and was perfect during the sexual scenes. It wasn't rushed, but it really moved swiftly enough to bring across the passion they were sharing and trying to contain.

Overall, I was impressed and would love to read more of the series.
