The chapter that spoke to me personally was Chapter 28: God is Looking at Something in You Others Cannot See. He says, "...the opinions and observations of others are not your foundation for greatness. Stop pursuing their conclusions. God is looking at something inside you they cannot see, refuse to see and may never see.
The brothers of Jesus did not grasp His divinity.
The brothers of Joseph misinterpreted him.
The brothers of David saw a mere shepherd boy.
The friends of Job could not discern the satanic scenario before his crisis.
Haman could not even discern the nationality of Esther!"
I agree, we cannot let what others say define us. God says, "you are anointed", "you are blessed", "you are called", "you have a purpose", "you were created in My image"... Often it is the people who are being critical of you who satan is using to stop your progress toward your Assignment. You must ignore them and continue to pursue the gifts, talents, abilities, vision that God has given you. Ignore the naysayers, they are only there to hinder your progress and stop your greatness from being discovered.
Remember, God sees something in you that they do not see. There are seeds of greatness on the inside of you. Your job is discover this greatness, so you can be a blessing to your family, community, nation and to the ends of the earth! Amen. LET IT BE DONE!
