An orphan at three years old, a low chance of ever carrying her own child, and on her second husband by thirty, Iman is afraid she will die alone. Everything that has ever gone wrong in her life, happened during the Christmas season. Needless to say, Iman isn’t thrilled about celebrating Christmas.
Finally married to the man of her dreams, Micah Carrington is a successful oncologist who’d do anything to make her happy. But even he can't give her the one gift she most desires.
Determined not to put too much trust in Micah’s promises, she ignores his plea for her to trust in God’s plan. Instead, she takes matters into her own hands.
Will Iman’s trust issues and need for control jeopardize her dream of having her own child with the man of her dreams?

This was an excellent read, very emotional. I had to pull out the tissue but it was well worth it. Trusting GOD forgiveness and patience played a huge role in this book. Thank you Cassie Edwards Whitlow for a great book...
I'm usually Leary about trying new authors, But I'm very glad I took a chance on this one. This story was so good, that I had to force myself to go to bed at 3 in the morning when I wanted to keep on reading. This book will take you on a variety of emotions throughout, and I can't wait for the author's next book
This was a wonderful read. It really put you into the holiday spirit and made you appreciate all the things you have such as family. The author made all of the characters super easy to relate to and the story line was not predictable at all. Such a good read I could not put it down until I was finished with it.
I love a book that takes me on a fascinating journey. I enjoyed this story. It was an excellent read – real-life, deep, and solid.
How much disappointment can you handle each year during Christmas time? For Iman, the Christmas period was the worst time of the year. It seemed everything usually goes wrong during that time. Can that be reversed?
This story has many valuable life lessons concerning forgiveness, faith, love, and family. The character development was on point. I enjoyed the characters. Micah! Ahhh, what a man. I loved his deep devotion to the well-being and happiness of his wife, Iman.
I can’t wait for the next book. Great job, Cassie! Highly recommended.
