Lately I seem to be having a “Rocker” phase and as I have always a thing for “damaged” characters what would be the more obvious than going for a damaged rocker #figures Well I came across the “Recoil” series by K.E. Osborn. And while I was aiming to read only “Plucker” because of its plotline – I was told it would be best to read “Pick” before, so I did just that and here are a few of my thoughts. When I started reading I felt thrown right into the middle of an already existing world. While this series starts with “Pick” it seems that there are many characters appearing that I am supposed to know (I am only assuming as it feels like that), while that is kind of nice usually as it mostly triggers my wish to read the previous books, it was a little sidetracking in this case. The plotlines connect other books of this author like crossovers do on TV. The author has an unusual writing style I think, a huge part of the stories is told from the PoV of the male characters before the females join in their thoughts and actions. And her males are showing their emotions very openly which I also different from the mainstream and needed some getting used to. I liked the complexity of the characters in both “Pick” and “Plucker” and while the storyline in the books is different the author did the same good work on their backgrounds as both books feel solid once you get used the different / non mainstream way the author writes.
OMG!!! I absolutely loved this book but as always K.E Osborn never fails to deliver when it comes to her rock star romances. This was very much a star is fallen book and the journey that must be taken to get back everything from your past you walked away from and trying to build a new again.
I really enjoyed the story of Lunar and Danger, it's been a long time coming and although there were a lot of emotional part of this book there was a great deal of highs.
This book is about learning lessons and not judging anyone on their past. But it's also about mending a broken heart and not being frightened to start again. I am really looking forward to the next installment of this series as, as ever the journey you go on in one of K.E Osborn books is one of epic proportions. A fantastic read.
“He leans forward crashing his lips to mine powerfully talking what he needs. This moment between us is emotionally charged, and I have a feeling where we go from here will be the same.”
5 Danger Stars!!! Whoa…. Totally blown away, this book is phenomenal! Well written, well told… well just perfect!
Danger and Lunar’s story will rip your heart out at the seams! I was an emotional mess reading this book, but trust me it’s not a bad thing. I’ve been a fan of KE for awhile now, but this book has got to be one of the BEST I’ve read from her! It’s a roller coaster ride of emotions, intensity and heat! I didn’t want it to end, I kept holding off on finishing it because I wanted to keep Danger and Lunar in my life for just a few more minutes!! If you love a great rocker romance with emotion, heat, passion and heart, then you need to go one click this!

Why...yesss...Just the way I love my rockers and this rockers name is Danger!!! Sooo all the more to love about him with that bad ass name..right?? lol Boy...let me tell you, this book was sooo good!
Danger lives the Rocker life, has the fiancé which he gave it all up for and he thought everything was perfect. Then one day the fiancé wanted to talk, ohh yeah, she wanted to have the talk with him and then he realized his perfect life he had been living wasn't so perfect anymore.
Sooo Danger took off to Austraila. That's a cool place to take off to, right? lol Well The band decided that they didn't want to follow Danger because he had left them high and dry to be with the fiancé so they didn't feel he deserved their company/friendship any longer. After several months Danger ends up drinking his nights away and he thinks his cock is broken because he has been being a man whore and for some reason nobody can make him "happy." Sooo one day he ends up in a club where a very pretty girl with two-toned pink fading to yellow hair is swinging around a pole and Danger realizes his cock is stating to stir again and now he needs to see if he can make this girl his?? And yes, the chase begins..lol
I gave this book 5 iScream Books Stars. If you read Osborn's Satan's Savages MC series, you are in for a treat because guess who owns the strip club that this pretty little thing is dancing in. Why yes, you guessed it, Satan's Savages MC!!! Woohooo it was awesome to have them sprinkled through out the book, what better reading, Rockers and MC'ers!! EPIC..lol Make sure you pick this book up ASAP and get to know Danger and also see if he gets his bandmates to come over to Australia with him and become the rock gods they were before!!!

I really liked Lunar! I loved her attitude, he personality, her secret softness and her selflessness. I wasn’t a massive fan of Danger for quite a bit of the book. I wouldn’t say he was a bad character it was just his constant moping over Ella did my head in! Yes he had loved her and had been hurt by her but I just wanted to shout at him to move on, he had Lunar now. I will admit that it took me a few chapters for me to get into this book but I am not sure if that is because I haven’t read any of this K.E.’s books and wasn’t used to her writing style or because I wasn’t a massive fan of Danger. But after a few chapters this book gripped me and wouldn’t let go. As I have already expressed my love for Lunar (Annalise) it is probably obvious that she was my favourite character. I chuckled numerous amounts of times and I loved Danger’s reaction to the support band luminous, I was in stitches! After reading this book I will definitely be reading the Satan Savages series, I already have the books they’re just on my never-ending tbr. But certainly I will be moving them up the list. I loved the mixture of rockstars and bikers. I adored Techie and I cannot wait to discover more about the lovable geek. This book was an emotional roller-coaster but one that I wanted to board. Although I wanted Danger to move on faster, I found myself rooting for him and Lunar. I cannot wait for more from this series and I am eager to learn more about Ryan, I really liked him and Matt. I wasn’t so keen on Nate but I understood his thought process and bitterness towards Danger. Some of the scenes in this book are smoking hot so hold onto your panties because they are about to melt. One last thing: I LOVE the cover of this book! I could stare at it all day.
After the love of his life dumps him for someone else and breaks his heart, Danger is determined not to let another woman in to his heart. After his band to turns him down on the offer of getting back together, Danger finds himself in Australia. Meeting Lunar makes Danger start to feel again and it isn’t long until he is trying to get her into his bed despite her connection to the local biker club. When he learns more about her and her life choices Danger starts to understand Lunar and wants to help her start a new life. Lunar has been in love with Steel for years but when he met his new woman Lunar was left forgotten and hurt, that is until she meets American rocker Danger and starts to open up to the possibility’s of a life away from the Satan Savages.

Once again we have been given another kick ass story to get lost in...
This is Danger and Lunar's story and it was an emotional roller coaster to say the least. My heart broke for both of them. They were a couple that came together after experiencing heartbreak but they also gave each other the strength to move forward. They spent so much time building one another up when they stumbled it was hard to read. The emotions int heir story are Raw and that just added to the passion.
When Ella broke up with Danger he was left a broken man. He had given up everything and changed the person he was to make her happy and still that was not enough. Now he is returning to America, with the hope of building bridges with his ex band mates.
When he calls upon his best friend and band mate Ryan he knows this is not going to be easy he hurt the ones around him, he walked away from his dream and took theirs with him. After some harsh words from Ryan he decides he needs to heal and find himself again if he is to have any hopes of getting the band back together.
Danger finds himself travelling to Australia and its in one of the bars that he meets 2 people who could change his life for the better.
But it is the stripper with the fire that catches his eye and brings his dick back to life.
Lunar is a club girl and until recently she was the VP'S girl. She loves him but unfortunately he loves someone else. She lives this life as its all she knows and it helps her provide for her family, however now Steel is with Willow she is reminded every day of the heartache she feels.
When she spots Danger in the club he stirs up feeling that she hasn't felt for a while.
Steel is VP of the Satan Savages and when he recognises Danger he offers up the expertise of his club brother Techie.
With Danger making the call to his band mates they have the chance of regaining their dreams and they travel out to meet him and reconnect.
Danger and Lunar both have a broken heart but they feel the chemistry between them. Danger is here for one reason only and thats to make a name for his band. He wont be here forever. Lunar just want some fun but she struggles with being a club girl and the need to be free.
When they come together fireworks explode but will they get a HEA or will this just be a rebound romance?
Fantastic start to a new series and I am looking forward to reading Ryan's story next!!!

You're making it big.
A rockstar, lead singer of the up and coming rock band Recoil. You can taste the fame, the glamour, the stardom. It's just within your grasp. You and your band mates are going to be the next big thing. But in a blink of an eye it's all gone. The fame, gone. The band, over. All for love. Welcome to Dangers world.
You're young and beautiful. You're body earns you the big bucks. It's the only way you know how to live. You have to take care of your mother and brother who needs constant care. Club girl and stripper. You live and breathe it. Satan Savages MC is your home, where you belong. But is it? Welcome to Lunars world.
A rock star, a club girl. An American, an Australian. In opposites sides of the world. Living completely different lives. But their lives are about to collide. Their lives will forever be changed. They will ultimately save each other from the hells they have found themselves drowning in.
Welcome to Danger and Lunars story.
Guys this novel I have to say is an absolute definite first for me. MC meets Rockstar. I've never read a novel where an author has blended both of these together, such opposites, but yet it worked perfectly in this novel. As you can only imagine bringing these two worlds together you know you are in for an explosive read, and that's exactly what I got. It was raw, gritty and at times confronting. It was heartbreaking and breathtaking. It's edgy and fast paced. It was all things downright sinfully delicious. It was everything in a novel I could've asked for and so much more. Danger, what a guy. I fell in love with his warmth and vulnerability. Lunar, what a firecracker. I loved her sassiness, her smart mouth and her cheeky ways. And Danger and Lunar together....Guys they are imperfectly imperfect.
A great read that I highly recommend for those who love their bikers and rockstars.
Pick is the first title in the recoil rock series. I've got to say that as soon as I saw this book was a rocker romance and also related to the Satan's Savages MC series, I had to pick it up, two of my favorite genres to read. Pick is Danger and Lunar's story, it's an emotional romance, of finding love after having your heart broken. Those familiar with Ms Osborn's work will be familiar with both Danger and Lunar if they have read Sharp, as some of the story overlaps in timeline with Techie's story. As someone who has enjoyed the Satan's Savages MC series, it was great to see Techie and Steel make quite a few appearances within this story line.
Lunar hasn't had the easiest of lives and Danger gives her the confidence to see beyond her current set of circumstances being a club girl and stripper. This pair are quite like-able and believable, they really bring the best out in each other and share a strong chemistry and their love scenes are both hot, steamy and passionate.
The secondary characters are quite entertaining in particular Ryan. I found them all to be quite endearing with the exception of Nate, but i'm sure their is a story that has yet to unfold for his behaviors. Time will tell if he grows on me as much as the rest of the members of Recoil. I loved the banter between Danger and Lunar, but also between Lunar and Ryan, it's fun flirty and kept me completely enthralled and turning the pages.
Overall Pick is an enjoyable contemporary rocker romance, and I look forward to reading more of Recoil in the future.
This book is what I dream about as a fan of Rock stars and MC’s. I never thought this would be possible and I was completely blown away. THIS WAS EPIC IN MY READING LIFE!! I am pretty sure this is my favorite book written by KE. Hands down perfection! This book is hot, it is emotional and I never wanted to let this couple go. This book takes your emotions and drags them all over leaving you an emotional, wonderful mess that you just want to keep on repeating.
“Sometimes we all gotta go a little stalker.”
KE took two of my favorite worlds and she mashed them together giving me Lunar and Danger. Danger is the Rock star with the heart that you dream about and the edge only a rockstar can have. Lunar is a Club whore with the smart mouth and everything MC readers adore. Bringing them together was explosive and more addictive than I imagined it was going to be. It was raw, it was heartbreaking and it was consuming. It is fast paced and it was everything I needed. It showed the best of both worlds I love and I highly recommend to any one that loves MC and rockstars. Bonus if you love Satan’s Savages MC as much as me they are sprinkled throughout this whole story and yes you get lots of glimpses!!
Brilliant story, you could really feel all the emotions the characters went through.
Danger is the lead singer of the band Recoil. He left everything behind for the love of his life Ella, he moved country, left his band and his family. Whilst on holiday Ella decides she doesn’t want to be with Danger anymore and breaks his heart.
Danger decides to move back home and see if he can get the band back together, his band mate and best friend Ryan shuts him down quickly so a devastated Danger makes the choice to go travelling, he ends up in Australia where he meets Lunar.
Lunar is a club girl, an MC club that is. She works in one of their strip clubs and has been the main go to girl for the MC’s VP, Steel since she was 17. Steel has found a new girl now and Lunar is finding it hard to let go. After talking with one of the other bikers she decides maybe she could have some fun with Danger.
Danger and Lunar’s relationship is full of lust, heartbreak and miscommunications. Can they get past all their baggage or will they combust?
This is the first I have read by this author and she wrote my dream book!! Rockers and MC books are my absolute favorites. This combines them, Perfectly!! Danger a cocky, hot rocker with a broken heart. Yep I completely melted!!! Lunar a tough on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside club girl who is bit damaged. They were perfect together!! And they were HOT AS HELL!! My Kindle was smoking! He lifted her up because she felt so low and helped her become strong and see she was more than her past. She showed him it was OK to love again and she put his broken heart back together. They meshed, they clashed, and nearly fell apart over a misunderstanding. They had my head and my heart all over the place. I couldn't put it down. I rooted for them, I yelled at them and cried for them. It's awesome getting so wrapped up in a story. Then we are hit with the heartbreak of a friend's story at the end. I cannot wait to get the next the one! I am excited to see that this a spinoff of two other series. That is what will get me through the wait!
We start off with lead singer of the band Danger, after leaving the band to follow his heart, shit hits the fan when she leaves him. What better way to get over someone than travelling the world and meeting a stunning pink head beauty.
Lunar hasnt had the easiest of years and is destined for more than a striper and a bike club girl.
Danger and Lunar are great together, the sex is hot, the chemistry is amazing and when they finally get over there shit they are great together. The only thing that annoyed me was Nate, I know he holds a grudge but he became rather frusterating.
Ryan as a secondary character was perfect, I loved him and the lead into his book left me wanting it now
K.E. Osborn has done it again with this fabulous new series which is a spin off from her Satan's Savages MC series.
Lunar, a club girl and stripper, immediately catches the eye of lead singer Danger. This is their story about overcoming hurdles in life including personal relationships. Lunar is a sassy, no nonsense young Australian woman and Danger is a cocky, confident American man. Can they really work out? This is the ongoing question.
I really enjoyed the way that the characters from the previous series were woven into this story however you don't need to read them first to enjoy the book. I think you should do yourself a favour and read them simply because they are great.
Great character descriptions show real life insecurities and feelings that readers can easily identify with in their own world. There is a huge variety of topics touched in just this one book including autism and sensitively too.
The only issue I have with this book is that it's finished and I have to wait now for Plucked to be released!
Finally Lunar and Danger's story. We fell in love with them along the way in KE's other books. I couldn't wait to get their full story and in no way did she disappoint me.
Danger is broken, when things with Ella, his heart is demolished. Deciding that putting the band back together was the only thing that could heal him. He just needed to talk the rest of the band into giving him another chance.
Lunar is a club girl for Satan's Savages. She was the VP's girl but was replaced when he fell for someone else. Defeated she was surviving that's all. Until he walked into the club she was stripping at and turned her world upside down.
I loved these two. They compliment each other so much. Pick is a great start to another wonderful series for KE Osborn and I can wait for more. Ryan's book is next and I am super excited for it. Great read!
It took me a few chapters to get into this book and boy I'm glad I kept going. You will go on a emotional roller coaster and I glad climb aboard.
If I'm being honest, for part of the book I didn't like Danger. He was too hung up on his past to see what right in front of him...Lunar. Lunar is a club girl and has had feelings for anyone since Steel, that is until she see Danger.
With his band getting back together and him find love can he make it all work?
A good start to this series and I'll be looking for Ryans story.
We met Danger in earlier books by this author. Heart broken, Danger is a guy unsure of what to do in life. I enjoyed this story as the good looking Danger takes control of his life and his band and gets his life on track. When he meets the one woman who might be able to heal his broken heart, will he be ready? I sure enjoyed finding out. Great start to the series about a new band.
Blurb: Danger—it's a word that strikes fear into most people. But for me it's not just a word, it's a legacy, a lifeline, my name.
My life has been crazy—ups a downs like the highest rollercoaster you've ridden. On tour with the world’s biggest rock stars and on my way to being one myself. Then I met her. The woman who ruined me completely.
Fast forward through the shit storm that was my life—I lost the girl, I lost my band. Hell, I lost it all. My only choice was to run. And running was the best thing for me. But when you’re fighting to get to the top, is the pressure too much to keep your band, and the girl? In the end, if your heart’s in danger, can love truly be enough?
Wow! This is the beginning of a beautiful series. Yes there is a sexy alpha rocker, a strong woman, a smattering of an MC but this didn't turnout like you would think. Thanks to K E Osborn there can be a supportive alpha male even with a broken heart. And a strong female despite herself. And a story that is more life like than fairy tale.
This is the first book of the series and I have to say I absolutely love these characters. Mixing a rock group and a mc together, pretty genius. I love these two type of books and putting them together made it even better. Each of the characters in this book are not only unique, but they grab your interest instantly. Danger, is awesome. He has a lot of baggage. What he goes through at the beginning, just sucks. You love someone so deeply, give them everything you have, but its not enough, but on top of that, you lose yourself in the process. That is what happened to Danger, he lost who he was when he was with Ella. He gave her everything, and she took it, but Danger was not who she wanted. I absolutely hated her for what she did toe Danger, but it made a great first chapter. Danger is this troubled soul. He needs to find his way, but to find his way he is going to have to make amends with his band. Is it going to be easy? Not even close, but in order to given him what his bands needs, he will have to find himself. So what better place to do that than Australia. One encounter in a strip bar and it buts him with a mc and the girl that is going to change his future. Before I get into Lunar, I just want you know t how incredible Danger is in this book. He is this cocky singer, but thats not the only thing. He has this sensitive side, you can see how much pain he has been in and what Ella did to him. How she destroyed him. How he rebuilt himself is what makes him so amazing. Lunar is also damaged, but not in the same way. She has been with a mc for a long time. She lost her love, and now she has to watch him with another woman everyday, so when Danger walks into the strip bar, she is intrigued. What is nice about Lunar is that she is such a feisty, strong woman that she needs a strong man on her side. They will be able to balance each other out, if they can get past everything that has happened to them. Lunar has to take a big step to be with Danger though, she has to give up her mc life and she might not be able to pull herslf away from the life she only knows. these two have so much they have to deal with and if they can work througheveerything they will be able to build this great story.
The journey of Lunar and Danger is pretty awesome in the story. Their story is not an easy one, it won't happen overnight and they will have things that will pull them apart, bring them closer, make them rethink their decisions, but in all you will see this relationship grow into something, but it will take work. The more you let yourself be apart of their story the more you will see what is happening around them. How life screws you in a second, but also gives you something that you may not thing you deserve. I guess it's all about karma at times. Take the good with the bad, and that is what happens here. this book has so much detail that you don't want to put it down till you know the whole story. There is a lot of drama in this book, that at times seems a little overwhelming, but it is so worth it. So many misunderstandings, lover quarrels, friendships that will be tested. Just this book has everything in it that you would want for a book. The characters are very likable and they will make you unhappy, they will make you laugh, they will want to be strangled at times, but in all you will love them as much as I did. This is a series, but it is going to tell the story of the individuals in the book. I am hoping we will still see everyone in all the books because you need the whole book to appreciate what they all bring to the table.
I can't wait to dive into Ryan's story, because I think it is going to be very intense, especially how the first book ended. He is such a great guy, I hate seeing the bad that he feels. Great author and I loved the style of writing. I just can't wait to read more.
I think I found myself a new favorite author. This was my first time reading anything by her, and I loved it!!!
As a big fan of rocker romance, I couldn't wait to start reading this book. It started a little slow for me. I read the prologue and was a little disappointed in Danger (former singer of Recoil). I mean, the man actually cried big, fat tears (maybe even with hiccups) for real when his fiancée, Ella, decided that he was not the man for her and sent him packing. I didn't know what to do with that, it was such a turn off. Plus, the way he talked on his way out, he just sounded like such an immature brat, I don't care how hurt he was. He actually sounded pretty immature throughout the entire book, I was so confused, until it was revealed (almost at the end) that he was only 22 years old. So just a baby. I think the h is even younger than him, so all in all, they needed to grow up a little. But they do get a reality check at some point.
Danger ends up in Australia, after he goes to see his former band mate, Ryan, who is not ready to drop everything and re-start the band just because Danger wanted to, especially since the band had broken up because of Danger when he had decided that he was in love with Ella and couldn't live without her. So, he had left the US, moved to England to be with her, and got a 9 to 5 job.
But, like I said, he ends up in Australia while on a tour of self destruction after Ella breaks his heart. He walks into a strip club, sees Lunar, who was working there as a stripper, falls in lust. Lunar is property of the local MC, however, they give her permission to see where things might go with Danger. In the meantime, one of the club members helps Danger put the band back together and they take off down under. He hates that she's MC property. She says she's proud of it, however, when that info becomes public knowledge, she is embarrassed and instead of standing up for herself, she runs into hiding, and he is ok with it, even though by then they are pretty much in love.
So here’s why I took a star off, even though I loved the book overall… She gave me such mixed signals, could not make up her mind if she was proud of who she was or embarrassed of it (I could have lived with either one, just pick one!!). She had had a good reason for joining the MC, even though, it was very weird in the way we were told how her mother had been ok with Lunar pimping herself out to the MC at the ripe age of 17. She should’ve owned and forget the losers of the world. AND, the most important part, she literally sighed after Steel (the MC dude) throughout the entire book.
Also, throughout the entire book, Danger is majorly depressed about Ella leaving him. I almost couldn't take it anymore. By the time Lunar got mad about it (which was almost at the end), I was ready to kick him where it hurt the most. Everything is about Ella. When he got sick and wrote Lunar a note telling her that Ella used to make him something special to eat or something when he was sick, I saw red. Enough with Ella already, dude!
I was also confused by Lunar's name. Danger couldn't make up his mind what to call her. Her club name was Lunar. So you'd think he should hate calling her by that name, and go with her real one. That happened like twice. Then he had nicknamed her Candy because her hair reminded him of cotton candy. He goes between Lunar and Candy . A LOT. If you don't pay attention while reading, you'll think he's seeing two chicks at the same time.
All in all, I am looking forward to reading the next one, Ryan's story. And I already got KE Osborn’s MC series on my reading list, I need to see what had gone down with Steel and Lunar before Danger was in the picture!!
**I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**
Another great book by one of my favourite authors. I loved this book and how, although it is a new series it tied in with the Satan’s Savages…well it had to, Lunar was our female lead!
Having not read many rock band type books, I wasn’t sure what type of storyline to expect, and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. Danger is our man guy, and I kind of loved him from the very start, after changing everything about himself for who he thought was the love of his life, and then to have her basically rip his heart out and stamp on it, how could you not love him. Yes he is a bit of an idiot at times, and on occasion I wanted to slap him, but overall he won my heart. Lunar, well if you’ve read the Satan’s Savages you know who Lunar is, and she deserves to be happy, if you haven’t then l’ll tell you a little about her, she is an amazing little firecracker of a character, she wears her heart on her sleeve, and is one of the most selfless characters I have had the pleasure of reading about. For the love and health of her family she became a ‘club girl’ and for a very long time thought that is all she was worth, well that’s until she meets Danger.
I loved the different relationships that were present throughout the book, Danger and Lunar; Danger and Recoil (his band), Danger and the Bikers, Lunar and the bikers, Lunar and recoil, and so many more. Each one was different and made the story much more true to life. It made things more real. Seeing Lunar and Danger grow as a couple and overcome their demons/pasts was a real experience. I also liked that there was a more serious issue highlighted within the book.
This book was full of emotion, and at about 69% my heart was in my throat and I wasn’t sure how things were going to go and the then the scenes at the airport with Lunar’s brother, they made me so mad I wanted to scream. The storyline really kept me guessing; there were plenty of ups and downs to keep your attention, and of course the sex scenes between this duo were so hot my kindle was smoking!
I loved the supporting characters in this book, and although on a few occasions Nate made me a little angry, I hope each of them have a story of their own to tell. Role on Plucker!
OMG I totally loved this book! This was my first KE book and I wasn't disappointed at all. All the things I love wrapped into one book, can't go wrong with that! You have a down on your luck rocker, who throw away everything for the woman he thought he loved... turned out he was wrong and now has to start from the beginning. He finds himself in South Australia and is given the opportunity of a lifetime. He's eager to jump on it but first has to convince his bandmates, who may or may not to happy with him. Danger was a great character. He has the drive and charisma to make it as a lead singer but has a tendency to think with his other head and not his heart. He learns a lot throughout this book. He also meets Lunar. If you've read Steel, then you're familiar with her, if not like me, you'll learn about her. All she's known is the MC and strip clubs. She knows they will take care of her family and watch out for her. She never expected to meet Danger. He makes her want to be a better person and makes her see, there's more to life then a MC club. I loved her character, she was loyal, she has sass and is strong. I loved how she bought awareness to autism. Having a 6yr old on the spectrum myself, I was drawn to this part of the story. The part with her brother and the reporters at the airport, had me tears cause my son would have reacted the same way. You have done your homework or have someone close to you in the spectrum. I applaud and have mad respect for you now. Autism isn't easy to write about and you did it beautifully. I also loved that Danger and Lunar were broken but you build them up to be amazing and beautiful people. This book captivates their struggles and the fast paced super smokin hot love they have. I can't say enough about this book! If you love your rock stars a little broken but they redeem themselves and becomes big, then this this is the book for you. It also includes some bikers which help them along the way. See all my favorites wrapped into one book! I couldn't help but to love it! lol
I really liked this story. Poor Danger gets dumped at his own destination wedding to Ella Slade from Totally Rocked book 3 and I am glad as I could not stand her (sorry) . Danger not only lost his fiancee but having left everyone including his band and his life in the US when he became serious with Ella, he is on a journey trying to forget. He travels throughout Australia on his own and manages to drink his way into every strip club in the country. He essentially tries being with different women but his heart and other parts of his anatomy aren't cooperating, until he spots Lunar. This beauty is a club girl but with a heart of gold. I loved Lunar aka Annalise and even though the story was a little predictable, there were enough characters to keep this interesting.
Really enjoyed this book I have read Steel so I was little hesitant going in with Lunar being the heroine but K.E. Osborn did an amazing job because now I really liked Lunars character . She and Danger made a perfect couple they both just got their heart broken they heal one another . I really don't know how I felt about Danger in the begging I felt bad for him after getting his heart stomped on all he wants to do is get his band back together and slip back into his playboy ways easy right well it's not as easy as it sounds , the hero goes to lick his wounds by travailing and drinking he stumbles into a club and that's when things start to look up for him . Lunar always thought all she had going for her was her sex appeal but the hero proves to her that she is more then that when she decides to leave her club girl life behind and tour with the band she starts to see herself that she is more then a stripper / club girl . The secondary characters were super likable well except one band mate that was really a big jerk . One thing that I did find annoying was when Danger kept bringing up his ex but he does explain later on why he does but would he really want Lunar to bring up Steel . This was really enjoyable I can't wait to read the next one witch will be Ryans book and from the last chapter I really want to know this jokers story I know there will be tears involved . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero =9 heroine = 10 secondary characters = 10 Chemistry = 10 steam = 10 character development = 10 pacing = 10 enjoyment =9 writing style =10 storyline =9 romance =6 darkness level =5 humor =6 pov= dual ending =HEA cover =10 stars = 4.5 author = 8 would I recommend this book =yes would I re read this book = yes would I read future books by this author = yes
