Ancient Guardians, #4,5

A Christmas at Pasidian Palace

Rate this book
It's been five years since the Guardians worked together to destroy the most dangerous enemy they had ever faced.
With peace in their lands, Levi and Reece have been living a life of serenity and peace, raising their three young children at Oxley Manor.
Everything seems perfect and well until Levi realizes something: a holiday he knows his wife as always loved on her home planet of Earth has never been celebrated in his realm. In fact, Reece hasn't had the privilege of enjoying her favorite holiday in over six years, and Levi vows to change that.
But can he? With his sister's wedding at hand, his own daughter professing her love for another as well, and wanting to have a new holiday introduced to Pemdas...Levi is determined to find a way to make all of this work no matter the sacrifices he must make.

USA Today best selling and award winning author, S.L. Morgan was born and raised in California. After 29 years of living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains there, she and her husband began their journeys of moving throughout the United States. In the summer of 2014, S.L. Morgan and her family returned to her hometown of Oakhurst, California.
In October of 2011, S.L. Morgan became inspired to write her new novel series, “Ancient Guardians.” With her passion and love for Jane Austen and other classic romance novels, she was motivated to write a novel series of her own. The Legacy of the Key is the first book in her novel series, taking readers not only into a new magical dimension—but giving them a feeling that they have been transported back in time—into England’s 18th century.
Morgan refers to herself more as a storyteller instead of an 'author.' She enjoys creating worlds that readers can escape into, and characters they can call friends.
She is truly grateful everyday for having the courage to share her stories with readers from around the world.
With her series, Ancient Guardians complete, Morgan is embarking on a new adventure and looks forward to releasing a new series soon.

Cute story line

I enjoyed reuniting with the Oxleys and Hamiltons and having a little tension built into this Christmas story. I would have given it four stars if I had not found a number of errors in the narrative that should have been caught in the editing process.
I was impressed with how well the citizens accepted the new tradition. I'm glad the idea of sharing and giving love was stressed rather than just giving presents.
The only thing I would have like more of was the relationship between the two couples that were getting married. I guess that may come if Ms. Morgan writes another book in the series. I certainly recommend it for all the fans of this Guardian series.

This was a fun little Novella that takes place after the original series. I really liked getting to see life with Reece and Levi in their settled married state happy and just living without a major crisis and of course Levi being his romantic best. All the Christmas was a little over the top for me but I know that none of the Oxleys do anything halfway so what can you expect? I didn't really like the choice that the author made for a spouse for Marian but I suppose she could have also done worse so there is that. All in all this was a great little trip back into Pemdas.

Absolutely wonderful Christmas

I so enjoyed this book. I love Christmas and Ms. Morgan is such a great writer that you fell like you are there and seeing everything in living color. I have read all but 2 of her books with them being next in line. Such a talented author. She keeps you totally engrossed that you forget everything. That makes, in my opinion, a absolutely great writer. I recommend this to everyone as it is perfect for this time of year.

An all time favorite series. Just about couldn't put this book series down. Fell in love with all the characters from the start. Couldn't wait for the next book, and the only bad part about this series is when it ended. A must read!!!!

Should be book five

I find that this wonderful book feel in line after book five. It fell into what would have come next after saving earth and all dimensions. Proof reading was better but still needs more.

Absolutely loved this! Such a sweet thing to have read. Only thing I'd have liked better would be a conversation between Levi and Marion, but that's because I'm ultra sappy.

Very nice

The pace of the book seemed a little fast. Might have been nice to have a few more things go wrong to have to solve. Other than that, this was a nice read.
