3.5 Stars - Enjoyable and nicely wrapped up as always! Landon and Zoe were explosive in the best kind of way and their sweet and steamy story kept me entertained all the way through. :D

I've been anxiously waiting for the release of this book since I saw it on Goodreads. I didn't expect it to be LIVE this early on Amazon. When I saw this yesterday, I was.....
And Honestly Fiona Davenport did not disappoint!

Safety is perfect with hero being celibate for over 3 years (before the heroine even) and the heroine is a virgin (made sense given her family and age). Faithful, no cheating, no drama or condoms.

Amazing!! I loved this story so much. It was short, sweet, & hot. The chemistry between Zoe & Landon was off the charts smoking <3

An enjoyable and sweet read.
It's about Landon and Zoe.
She just graduated college before she got the interior designing job in Heath Construction. She's a Canadian and now working in United States.
He's the boss and he's been asking her on a date since her first day at work but she kept turning him down because she thought he'd be the reason for her visa problems and she needed to keep her job.
One day, she got a mail and was freaking out thinking she's in danger of being deported. Will she take his offer and help? Can he prove his love for her? Will she want forever too?
I loved Landon! He knew what he wanted and he wanted her since the first time he laid eyes on her. He gave her time but at the same time still pursuing her.
It has a lovely epilogue.

DNF at 48%
I tried to look pass all the blatant red flags because this was barely over a hundred pages, but I'm f*cking done. This was the most horrifying thing I've read in a while. This book was free, but I still feel like it owns me money.
Millionaire boss hires just young, just out of college, attractive, blonde virgin just to make sure he can 'keep an eye on her' and warn off any other men that may be interested in her. He asks her out everyday for two months, and everyday she says no. But when she has trouble with her visa, he convinces her to marry him, letting her believe that he'd divorce her when she has her visa back, but knowing that he won't. Because she's his. *Cue The Shining soundtrack.*
He treats like an actual child, which boils my piss to a scalding degree. The infantilisation of women, in general, is a big issue everywhere in todays day and age, but in this book it was actually laughable. He doesn't let her speak up, put on her seatbelt, or even walk on her own. The fact that he pressures her into having sex on their wedding night and she says nothing the entire time makes no fucking sense. She's a clean shaven virgin on a spur of the moment wedding -lol- who immediately orgasms on her first time. I can not stress enough the fact that I laughed, aloud, when this happened. At this point, I had already started to read this as a psycho/thriller comedy.
This fmc is not a real person. The mmc is a psychopath with violent tendencies, but she's a blow-up doll with a name. Within the first 24h of them having sex he takes her to a remote villa for their honeymoon, where he threatens to 'redden her ass' if she doesn't immediately get naked on the beach and lets him f*ck her there, even though she says she doesn't want to. Then not even a whole page later, she's ready to come just from penetration alone. At this point, I wasn't even laughing anymore. Also, this entire time he's thinking about the fact that she's obviously getting pregnant, since they've been using zero protection, and he knows that she won't have thought about it "because she was a virgin"... which apparently also makes you stupid.
What truly broke the camel's back here (aka my very will to read a single letter more of this book) is the fact that, when she realises they've been having unprotected s3x for a week and she's freaking out about probably getting pregnant, he grabs her "tight, my fingers probably digging a little too hard in her flesh", and he tells her that she's "absolutely not" getting an abortion. To which she ends up apologising for even suggesting it to him in the first place. So I am absolutely not going to continue reading this absolute bullsh*t.
That is, also, when I realised that whoever tf wrote this book probably still thinks Trump is president in the US.
I don't know who this book is for, but it's not for the girls, gays & theys; which means that it's definitely not for me.

Mí humilde opinión:
Zoe es una canadiense trabajando como diseñadora de interiores en
Heath Construction.
Le gusta su jefe, él era tentador, pero tenía que decirle no cada vez que le pedía una cita porque tenía que conservar el trabajo si quería quedarse en los Estados Unidos.
Cuando llega una citación a la oficina de migraciones teme que será deportada a Canadá.
Ella está enloqueciendo cuando su él le dice que solo cediendo ante él saldrá del desastre.
Landon ha estado loco por Zoe y desde hace meses intentó tener una cita con ella pero siempre era rechazado.
Ahora tiene una oportunidad de oro.
Se casará con ella en Las Vegas y de paso solucionará su problema de visa.
Zoe piensa que estará casada con su jefe temporalmente pero la verdad es que él la quiere conservar para siempre.
No so temporarily married es una historia corta, humeante y dulce.
Me encantan los personajes que trae FD y la forma loca en que se enamoran.
Me sorprendió que Zoe se resistiera tanto tiempo al jefe, me hubiera gustado leer eso!
Me estoy haciendo fan de estos locos héroes posesivos y celosos que caen duro y rápido por la heroína. Ellos son fieles y hacen las cosas más exageradas por ellas.
Zoe y Landon fueron increíbles juntos y no estuvo mal cómo fue evolucionando su relación para ser una historia corta.
No entendí lo del hijo del senador, eso quedó en nada al final. La verdad no sé porqué estuvo este tema en medio.
Una lectura agradable, entretenida e interesante con mucha chispa.

Super sweet, super HOT and super quick/short read, that’s what we get with Not So Temporarily Married! It was indeed all around SUPER and classic Fiona Davenport! <3
Zoe, a recently graduated architectural Canadian designer decided to take a bet and spread her wings into Uncle Sam’s lands. Luck was on her side and she landed her first job working for an established and prestigious architectural/construction firm. But it is clear from the very first day that she was just lucky on the professional department, because she caught much more than a job, she caught the undivided attention of her boss, the smoking hot, Landon.
Landon knew from the very moment his eyes landed on Zoe that she was his future, the only woman for him. His future wife and mother of his children. He insistently pursued her from the very first day she started at his company, and had been quite patient in waiting for her to change her mind – yes, for a FD’s hero he showed quite a restrain, not taking what he wanted for all those months, LOL – until the very thing that was keeping her from him worked in his favor, her work VISA conditions! Let’s just say he was more than happy to solve her affliction with the perfect solution that would please both of them, marriage.
Zoe was of course shocked, but given the insane attraction to Landon, that she had been fighting from the very start, marrying her boss sure was the furthest from a hardship! Now, she was just in for a bit of a surprise when she would realize that this marriage was going to be real in every vow and way, and the NOT SO TEMPORARILY!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

A little bit hot, a little bit dirty and a whole lot of sexy!
Zoe and Landon have been attracted to each other from the moment that Zoe started working at his family’s construction business. However, being in the States on a work visa from Canada, the last thing she wants is to start a relationship with her boss, and then be out of a job ad forced to move home when it ends. Landon doesn’t have these same concerns and when the opportunity presents itself for him to marry her to keep her in the country, he jumps at the chance.
Landon was an alpha male with a heart of gold, dirty in the sheets and a gentleman on the streets. His somewhat overbearing tendencies where Zoe was concerned only made him more endearing to me, he knew what he wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it…and Zoe is what he wants!
Reading this novella was pure escapism for me, and I enjoyed being transported into Zoe and Landon’s world. I’ll be checking out more of Fiona Davenport’s works straight away. -Tamara, 3 stars

I've devoured most of Fiona's books and have been overwhelmed with the awesomeness jumping out of the pages. Who doesn't like a caveman with serious skills in the bedroom?
Landon is my kinda guy. No nonsense sexy caveman who is dominant and not above a little kink. Oh and the filthy mouth. Yeahhhhhhh baby! Zoe is his match and they are cute together. My only complaint is the storyline. It didn't jump out at me like Fiona's other stories. It didn't drag me under or make me feel like hyperventilating if I didn't finish it. Without the "wow" factor and over the top drama, it's still a decent read. I'm happy to recommend this read to my "lighter genre" contemporaries!

Landon is my kinda guy. No nonsense sexy caveman who is dominant and not above a little kink. Oh and the filthy mouth. Yeahhhhhhh baby! Zoe is his match and they are cute together. Landon Heath has asked out Zoe Elliot everyday since he met her, he knows she is weary of an interoffice relationship but Landon knows Zoe is it for him. Zoe however is there on a work visa and is feeling she can't have a happily ever after since it is temporary. When it looks like her visa is about to be revoked, Landon has a plan including marriage and a surefire way to keep Zoe by his side.
Charming story. I thought this was extremely entertaining. Landon feels like he has made his intentions known but Zoe is clueless about his feelings. Another great read from these authors.

As always Fiona Davenport delivers. Her novellas are sweet, steamy and cheesy. I adore her couples and the chemistry she creates! Her epilogues are filled with babies and cute moments. I'm addicted to her novellas!

Possessive Alpha.
I liked that the story starts two months after the two MCs met and Landon is already crazy jealous and possessive. I also like that he asked her out every single day and she turned him down. The best part of this book was definitely Landon’s growly self. I wish there was more of a dark spot but I feel like I always wish that lol

This book has everything you could ever want in a book!

Zoe has been working at Heath Construction for 2 blissful months! Or rather they would be blissful if her boss wasn't so hot and constantly trying to ask her out. As Always Fiona Davenport has once again given us a Sugary Sweet Treat. Then again their Novella's are always I little piece of heaven.
I say this always but can't help it really, these ladies give is different stories every Single time. If that doesn't show you or tell you how brilliant their minds are then nothing will.
Ok now this Hot but Heart warming beautiful book is about Feisty Zoe. Zoe works Landon, Landon was instantly in love with our girl but for obvious reasons she refused to date her boss. So she stayed far away until faith intervened, that left Zoe with no options but follow him cos he was the only one that could help her. Now she has been just as attracted to him so when they are thrown together she doesn't stand a chance of him having his way.
Landon is Alpha and Hot. He loves his Girl and his Family a lot. Yet at the same time wouldn't think twice about laying his head on a platter if it made Zoe happy. Even though Zoe was No Push Over she still knew who was Boss.
Loved this book. Its perfect to feed the reading obsession she you don't have much time. Trust me you won't be sorry.

I am a HUGE fan of Fiona Davenport. I loved these ladies independently but together they are magnetic. Their stories are always quick, dirty, and promise the best happily ever afters that the romance world can offer.
Not-So Temporarily Married was a fast, sweet, and over the top romance full of feels, lust and happy endings. Meeting Zoe and Landon was a perfect way to spend my lazy weekend afternoon. These two took me on a roller coaster ride and by the end, I was rooting for these two to have it all.. marriage and definitely lots of sweet babies!
I highly recommend this book... well really anything by these ladies!

Zoe ha salido de su casa en Canadá hacia los EEUU para poder tener una vida en la que su familia no metiese las narices, los amaba, pero siempre tenían que meterse en todo. Me ha gustado mucho, a pesar de que la traducción cojeaba un poco.

En cuanto a Zoe era una señorita chillidos porque en toda la historia he leído más veces "chilló" que solo me la podía imaginar gritando cual cacatúa 🤣.
En fin, que ya sabéis lo que hay aquí, historia corta, nada de drama, mucho amor, final feliz y muchos bebés! Lo mejor del mundo vaya 😁

This is an entertaining and easy to read story. Landon is smitten with Zoe from day one, and sets out to claim her for his own.
