This volume contains the complete STRENGTH BUILD CYCLE:

STRENGTH BUILD +1: The Fields of Durandor
STRENGTH BUILD +2: Duskstar Forest
STRENGTH BUILD +3: The Great Sands of Bariz
STRENGTH BUILD +4: The Tomb of the Fallen

Nick Stanners has no money. No job. No prospects. He lives in one of the most crime-ridden apartment blocks on the west coast. His girlfriend uses him for a place to stay. His father is on life support. Rent is due next week…

Games are Nick’s passion. He's played them all - well, the old screen ones anyway. He's never been able to afford an Immersion tank and the amazing games that come with them, but he's seen the web casts. He knows the names of every superstar pixel runner. His heroes.

So when he's picked out of the crowd to participate in a competitive, quest-driven dark fantasy RPG, his brain melts. Could this be his opportunity to get ahead? Or will he be chewed up by the machine, just another failed pixel runner by the side of the road?

STRENGTH BUILD is a LitRPG saga.

Watch out for DEXTERITY BUILD!

Decent story, and a pretty good one I might add, though I don't really care for where it went in other books in the series, this one was pretty good.

The dystopian backdrop might be interesting, but the quality of the story and the writing are beyond awful (as well as editing and proofreading not being very good). Stay away from this one, there are so many better books out there...

Good read.

It was a very quick read. Editing can use some work. The story had a bit of a twist and not completely expected.
