Synopsis
What happens when the one you love hurts you so bad you have no choice but to leave? Meet Nina, a beautiful and smart young lady who is very unhappy. Her relationship with her long-time boyfriend Reno isn’t what she expected it to be. Reno’s fists went across her face more times than she could count. Dealing with outside babies and his cheating, she turned her cheek and went back to him every time. One incident lands her in a place she never wanted to be but is it enough to make her leave? Or does she go back to the only man she’s ever loved outside of Reno?
Reno is the man in the streets who doesn’t care about a damn thing. He does whatever he wants. His temper is so bad he takes it out on his girlfriend Nina every chance he gets. His best friend Drake is there each time to pick Nina up off the ground. With hidden agendas on both ends, a war erupts, and people start doing things that no one sees coming. It's only a matter of time before hidden secrets come out.
Drake is Reno’s right-hand man who’s been there from day one. He can’t stand to see how Reno treats Nina. With problems of his own, Drake tries his hardest to help Reno stay sane, knowing part of the reason why he's so violent. Drake’s been holding on to a secret that he can’t hold anymore. Not one to sit back and watch Reno not only destroy his life but Nina’s as well, he puts a plan in motion to save them all. Is he out to help Reno, Nina, or just help himself?

AWESOME READ
Wow I love drake's character.. Handsome smart and loyal those are the things you look for the man he hasn't Delanoy unfortunately is more real is one sick twisted bastard I can't believe those damn twins actually lead her back to him like that what type of friends of that but that's what she could because she should've left well enough alone after all the abuse even outside kids he still treat her like crap she finally got the strength to move on she shouldn't let it all go now I don't know what's going to go on and part two but please complete the whole drink is still alive and the baby makes it out freaking standing I love the storyline

Wow that was pretty good. The physical and verbal abuse was pretty disturbing though. Reno is a horrible man. I know dude has issues but he is so violent and gives no f***s whatsoever. I already know Drake is going to be alright and he is coming for what is his. Oh lastly, what is up with the docs daughter? Is she supposed to help tame the beast or what!?! I feel like it is part of Reno's therapy, but I could be wrong. We shall see! Bring on part 2!

A must read!!
This was definitely a 5 star read. It held my attention from the first page to the last page. I couldn't put it down and was sad to get to the to be continued... I pray everything works out for Nina, I hope Drake is still around, and as for Reno something or someone has to stop him. Hurry with part 2!!

Why???
I am in tears for two reasons one because I am Domestic violence survivor and I think that I would be die or in jail if the Lord had not got me out of that situation. Second why did she have to be so gullible so trusting And just plain old hard heard SMH

Nina is the dumbest woman I've ever read about out of all the books I've ever read and I've read alot. You're staying with a man cause he gave you a ride from a sidewalk in the middle of the night? And finding out he's bipolar too? And you have 2 degrees? Why would you even stay friends with his sisters knowing you're in hiding?? To be honest you don't deserve Drake. It should be a change twister where he end up with your bestfriend whilst you stay with Reno's bipolar behind all because he saved you by giving you a ride off the sidewalk. Lol

Overall it was a good read. Nina is one dumb chick. She stayed with Reno for years although he was cheating on her and beating the crap out of her. She starts a relationship with Drake but she's hard headed and still dumb. She leads Reno to her whereabouts and all hell breaks loose. I can't wait for part 2.

Wow is all I can say. This was a great book. Man I feel so sorry for Nina. She has been thtough so much in her life and it seems like she can't catch a break for nothing. I hate reno with a huge passion. He is definitely the devil in this story. Drake is crazy, but he knows what he wants and willing to go to war for it. I can't wait to read part 2 tonight.

This man is a crazy woman beater cheating jerk and she feels like she is trapped and has nowhere to go until she has had enough and finds happiness with his best friend, so they run away together but he finds them and kills him( maybe) and brings her back where he thinks she belongs, I have to read part 2

Page Turner
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this! It was well written, full of drama, and had my literally speaking out loud as the story unfolded. I'm definitely a new fan, and will just bought the sequel so I can see what happens next

I just couldn't get into this book. I understood the premise of Nina being in a trapped position due to being ousted by her mother and raped by her stepfather from the beginning, but the entire roller coaster with Reno and Drake playing Captain-Save-A-Hoe was annoying

This book is good. I gave it 4 stars because Nina was getting on my last nerve being so stupid. I love Drake , but he should have been did something to save her. I don't think Reno should get a happily ever after

I really enjoyed this book. I really like Drake. I can't believe how it ended. Nina deserves to be happy, and I hope she gets that. This book was well written. I can't wait to read part 2!

I loved this book... Reno was crazy and a man whore... Drake was a great guy for Nina. I don't think it's cool to date your man's girl at all... but Reno was the fool for allowing your man to rescue your woman anyhow. He is the same as all men dog out the best woman to ever grace your life and when she gets the courage to leave you realize you messed up...smh half of them don't deserve us
