Another hot sexy read from Terri E Laine
I haven't read Sidelined with Cassidy and Fletcher but I read and loved Fastball the previous book with famous Baseball player Ryder and Gina, I did prefer their story more than this but Hooked is still an enjoyable,hot, fun and sexy read.
Riley Wilder is one of the top LPGA players and Ryder's sister from the previous book.
If you read the previous books you would already have been introduced to Riley and Mark, whose occasionally popped up in the story in Fastball, Riley had discussions with her brother about looking for a caddie and mark was in between jobs.
Mark does indeed take Riley up on the offer to help Riley out on a golf tour for charity and this is where the fun begins.
Mark is a guy who definitely doesn't mince his words he's a hot dirty mouthed talking alpha.
Riley seemed more reserved and professional but she still has her moments.

3 stars (and mostly because I liked two previous books).
Well, it was a nice read, but unfortunately not really strong heroine and the H was desperate most the time and just meh. IMO. I had a feeling h fought for them more than he – and I prefer it the other way round.
Lots of hot sex.
Too much happened for my liking – I couldn’t follow some events any more.

What I really really loved - there was no bullsh*t-drama-bro-code-whatever between the H and h’s twin brother. h’s brother accepted that she was a grown woman and didn’t interfere in MCs love life. He spoke once to the H in terms don’t hurt my sis and fight for her, but nothing dramatically-overprotective-big-bro-stay-away-from-my-sister!!! Hallelujah!
Looking forward to Chase’s book!

Riley Wilder is one of the top LPGA players. She's Ryder's sister, whose story with Gina was told in Fastball.
For as long as she can remember, she's had a thing for Mark James. He's friends with her brother. Years ago they shared one hot, special kiss but since then, their timing has always been off. When she was single he wasn't and she was dating someone when he was available.
But even though we've seen each other every year after that kiss, that special moment is lost to us.
But they are both single now and Mark has agreed to caddy for Riley's charity function. When they find themselves in the same house, subject to the animal sounds coming above them from Gina and Ryder getting it on-the temptation is just a little too strong. Mark has always wanted Riley-maybe the timing is right?
Jerking off to thoughts of her haven't compared to the real thing.
Commence hot wicked sex! But things are a bit awkward afterwards...
Mark's been hurt before-to keep things complicated Gina was his first love. If you've read Fastball then you know she had huge commitment issues and so she broke Mark's heart. He wants Riley but she doesn't seem to want anything more than a booty call. He's got enough on his plate right now.

She wants Mark, but with both their careers important to them (Mark may be accepting a new offer to set up his own investment services) they don't have a lot of time to work on a relationship. It's obvious these two are perfect for each other, but circumstances keep getting in their way. Does Riley have the right swing to hook Mark? Will it be a hole in one or will their relationship end up in a sand trap?

Another great story by these author's.
Riley is a character that I found extremely appealing. She is strong, independent, and is in a profession that takes strength and dedication. And not to mention one of the best. I love her sass, her family and the moment her and Mark connect.
As teenagers Mark and Riley had one day and a missed chance then life got in the way and time passed by. Now years later a new chance is offered with the memories of a not forgotten kiss. These two characters both have amazing talents and strengths which causes obstacles they have to work around. The hidden emotions give a butterfly in the stomach effect, yet their romance has a sweet undertone. Don't despair...there is plenty of heat to keep things interesting.
Everything I have read by these two author's have been gold. A complete story with some great characters along with a touching side story.

Mark is never one to mince his words, "I lower my hand to slide down her back and pat her butt. “Stop, you’re getting my ***k hard. You’re going to have to stand in front of me the rest of the time if you keep at it.” I loved this book loved Mark he was very attentive to Riley, and Riley didn't put up with anyone's crap.P

Whew, fan yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, because Hooked is on FIRE! This is the novel that makes golfing look cool; not for boring, rich old fogies! (Sorry, had to add that!)
Returning to the Wilde family is perfect in every sport ever, Riley's dedicated to golf. But she's had a deep crush on Mark James since she spent a summer with her cousin Fletcher's family. Her brother's now engaged now so Riley has to hear Ryder and Gina humping like wild animals 24/7. Such a turnoff! But, Mark's visiting. Maybe she'll take him for a ride. So, she has hot, monkey sex with Mark. They try not to make it a huge deal but everyone knows what's going on! So, why hide it? Afterward, they aren't sure how they feel about each other except once is never enough.
Hooked is an entertaining, raw, funny, and hot romance! I loved the plotline (although, it's like the other 2) and I adore the authors' writing style! I could see the sparks flying when Mark and Riley got together! Hooked is a one click must have! It's sexy, steamy, and oh so yummy!

This was a fun and entertaining story with lots of hot sex. It actually was a bit too much sex for my liking because it left no space for the sentimental part and became too focused on the intimacy which also made it hard for the characters to even admit to their feelings.
The Story:
Riley and Mark have known each other for years since his friend Fletcher is her cousin. Though besides the one kiss all those years ago, nothing else ever happened between them because the time never was in their favor, meaning either she was dating someone or he had a girlfriend.
Now when Mark volunteers to be Riley's caddie for the charity golf tournament for Make-A-Wish they both hit it off pretty quickly though Riley has to concentrate on the tournament and she's not sure how to do that when gorgeous Mark is on the green with her and all she wants to do is do him.
Will they both finally get their chance? And how will their different lives fit together?
Thoughts:
I liked Mark in the previous books and was really excited to read more about him but even though I really enjoyed this book I liked Sidelined and Fastball a bit better. Mark and Riley knew each other for years but there was never anything more than a kiss they shared. Now they are pretty fast involved and it felt a bit rushed because when they’ve really liked each other that much, there could have been something sooner between those two – despite both of them having partners in the past years – because come on, they saw each other every now and then and never did anything happen?
There was a lot of sex in this book and besides of figuring out how to manage their different work schedules there wasn't much else which was a pity and because of this I couldn't connect at all with the characters. I wasn't a fan of Riley because it seemed to me that whatever didn’t work out the way she wanted, she was hell-bent to change it (no matter the opinion of others) and she was pretty selfish when it came to Mark which annoyed me.
I really enjoyed reading about the other two couples from the previous books. I think that the authors did a nice job altogether with this story which was a fast read for me and I am excited to find out what’s coming next in this series.

Can this sports romance series get any hotter? This is book is the newest in the Wilde Players Dirty Romance series. We get to be part of Riley Wilde’s crazy new world when she finally lets her walls down to try at love. Or is it lust? Riley is the top LPGA champion. She has had a passion for golf since she could hold a club. She has never gotten over the one that let her get away, The one she dreams about. The one that has starred in all her fantasies night after night, She tried to move on. Even had a relationship with a fellow golfer, until found her now ex in bed with another woman
Riley has caught Mark James eye since they were teenagers Since their first kiss, he has never been able to replace her from his mind night after night. He has even tried a relationship with a high school sweetheart that he was best friends with. Well, that didn’t have a happy ending as his ex broke his heart. Then he swore he was done with love. Until an opportunity arises to be Riley’s caddie for a charity game.
The more time these two spend, the more they can not get enough of each other. I enjoyed this book. It was a little hard to get into at the start, but after the first couple of chapters, I was in their world. I loved that this was a sports romance with golf. I have read about football, baseball, and hockey. This was my first golf sports romance and it was awesome! I was frustrated a time or two with these two stubborn characters. I even wanted to swing a golf club at Riley’s ex Justin for just not having any common sense. Ha! There were times I was laughing so hard, my family may have thought I lost my marbles. That is what this story did for me. I just let loose and had fun with the book. The sexy scenes make you go wild! I definitely recommend this book. A.M. Hargrove and Terri E. Laine are great co writers. The Wilde Player’s Dirty Romance stories are worth picking up as a new series!

Get me a bucket of ice NOW!! Jeez, that was one HOT & dirty book I couldn't read fast enough, I practically devoured it! I've said it before and I'll say it again, this series just gets better with each book and hotter too!
Hooked started off as it meant to carry on, at a fast enthralling pace, with the heat ramping up until the very end. If you've been following this sports romance series, and I truly recommend that you do, then you'll know Hooked is Riley Wilde's story and boy, is she wild!
Mark was introduced in Fastball, the second book in the series, and I have to admit I didn't really notice him other than to guess he held a torch for Riley. But he's certainly proved himself to be a red hot blooded alpha male and damn, is he hot!! I'm drooling just thinking about him. Who knew golfing could be so hot?
If you're looking for a quick read that will have you laughing out loud, leave you hot under the collar and ready to pounce on the next poor guy who walks by then 1-click this baby and get HOOKED. It will take take you for a hot and fast ride, leaving you breathless and reaching for a cigarette, even if you don't smoke!

I'm hooked on Riley and Mark. I love this duo together! Annie and Terri know how to write a perfect combination of romance and hot steam sex with a side of sports mixed in.
Once again Hargrove and Laine have me “Hooked”. I love the Wilde Dirty Player Romances. A series of standalones about the Wilde Family and their love for sports of all kinds.
We meet Riley Wilde a top player for the LPGA. She is in a difficult situation because she has lost her caddy and needs someone to fill in for a charity event she is participating in. Her longtime friend Mark James decides he will step in and help out. The chemistry between the two is off the charts from the beginning before they can even get on the golf course. Riley finally decides to give into her desires for Mark and they start a relationship that is full of ex-boyfriends, long distance problems and things and people that seems to get in the way. Mark wants Riley to know that no matter how many miles that separate them. She is exactly what he wants and he sets out to prove that to her.
Fans of the Wilde Player Dirty Romance books get to see all of their regular Wilde Players – Fletcher, Cassidy, Ryder and Gina. And for fans of other Hargrove Laine books you get to see another beloved character make an appearance or two.

Here is another wonderful book from these two great ladies: A. M. Hargrove & Terri E. Laine.
I had the opportunity to read it first hand. Also, I haven’t read the previous books which means I read this book as a standalone. And now I just want to go back and read the others! That’s a secondary effect, I guess.
This is Mark & Riley’s story. Who are they? She is a young but determined golf player and Mark is her old time crush. And what a crush!!! I can’t blame her! Mark is absolutely everything a girl can ask for: gorgeous, sexy and with a lot of stamina!
The sex scenes are steamy and hot, capable of making you sweat!
If you’re acquainted with A. M. Hargrove & Terri E. Laine’s work you will find this story a little bit different. This is a fun, fast, flirty, sexy reading!!
I loved this story from the beginning and I can safely say that Mark & Riley will leave you breathless! You’ll get angry with them at some point but love will prevail and once again A. M. Hargrove & Terri E. Laine proved that those four hands can write anything they want! They are just perfect.

I love Terri E Laine and AM Hargrove as separate authors but when they write together magic really comes through and Hooked is no exception.
Riley and Mark have liked each other from afar for years, their attraction has always been there but they have only acted on it once years ago by sharing a kiss. Now thrown back into each other's orbits when Mark's best friend and Riley's twin brother fall in love. What I love about these two authors is they way they can bring you into their characters lives and make you feel like you are there with them, and they do a fantastic job here with not only Riley and Mark but all the characters. This being the third book in the Wild Players series we have had the privilege of meeting Riley and Mark before so it was great to get more of their backstory and their steamy romance. The story is short and extremely hot so I did find parts of it to feel rushed but really other than that I absolutely loved the story and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance with a sports backdrop.
Riley and Mark have liked each other from afar for years, their attraction has always been there but they have only acted on it once years ago by sharing a kiss. Now thrown back into each other's orbits when Mark's best friend and Riley's twin brother fall in love. Wow another amazing read from Terri!
This is true my a love story from start to finish. Seeing mark at a time in his life that has him making decisions for his future and while not evident at first but also for his future with Riley. The love these two both have for each other just shows how connected they are and that's not just because of growing up together each summer as kids.its truly amazing to see this written in a book!
Now miss Riley what to say about her she's everything mark wants and more. She's strong independent and has a hell of a swing plus I only dabble as a golfer and makes me want to be like her on the corse and that says a lot really *ok I'm girl crushing big time here*
Trough thick and thin and a few wild roller coasters they get what they are looking for buuuutttt Terri you have left me wanting more from both mark and Riley like lots more! And if you read this *thats you the readers* you will know what I'm talking about when I say more;)

The continuation of the Wilde Family does not disappoint. Mark and Riley have been long-time family friends, but something sparks between them when they're young. Fast forward after college and Riley is a successful pro golfer and Mark is a successful Wall Street type. Riley needs a caddie for an upcoming charity tournament and Mark is between work. Does she ask him to help her out?
It's clear that the attraction between the two of them has not wavered. I love that Riley is a strong and independent woman, determined not to be thrown off by the likes of a good looking Mark. He is simply irresistible as the smart book worm type, all alpha male when we get to know him! I think he just might be my favorite male in this swoon worthy series!

Another fantastic read by these two very talented ladies. I have to say this is my favourite book so far of this series Mark and Riley's story was totally hot and I was addicted from the very first page.

This is one sweet, super sizzling hot love story!!! It all started with one kiss behind her aunt and uncle's barn when Riley and Mark were in high school. A kiss that was never repeated or forgotten. Now Riley is one of the top LPGA players, but in need of a caddie. At the suggestion of her future sister-in-law, Riley decides Mark can help seeing it's a charity event and not a professional tournament. He knows the game and is between jobs. Can this charity event become their life event? Hooked has a few obstacles along the way, a coach, an ex, careers and distance. Their story hooks your heart from the start. I love this series, this group of friends and relatives. While this book can be read as a standalone, I love that the others make appearances throughout. Can't wait for the next book - just keep them coming!!!

Smoking hot! Not a beat passes and I felt the warmth in my cheeks reading the first sexy scene, then the next, oh it just keeps going.
This was my first in the series and I was blessed enough to win an ARC and went through the book really quickly. No problem picking it up without having read the prior Wilde series books but I think that will happen now.
Riley and Mark have great chemistry and history that I just love. I don't say history because its second chance love but not insta love really either. Great reverse athlete book if you want to call it that - girl power! We can do anything men can do!

Obviously, I know nothing about golf. However, I do know cute, sexy stories. Hooked is about the crush that never came to be more...until it does.
A Wilde opportunity comes knocking, so of course Mark is going to say yes. He's had the host for her for more than 10 years. He's available but it seems his time might not be.
She needs to focus and drive (wink* drive * wink) on. She can't be distracted...on abs! Yummy! Idiots, cameras, and not taking a hint abound in this fun little tale.

This story in the series was sweet and I liked Mark and Riley since the first book. Both are very strong personalities and they're made for each other.
Their sexy times were intensely hot and I had a lot of fun to read it.
Sadly the special touch, like in the former book, wasn't in there for me.
Don't get me wrong, it's really a beautiful book. The writing of both authors is always on point, but it was just something missing. And it was definitely too short.
Anyway, I love all of the books by these two and will continue to read their story in the future.

Ok I really loved sidelined and fastball but for some reason I didn't like hooked as much although it was still a good read with smoking hot sexiness it just didn't capture me as much as the other two books in this series, I think it was more about my not liking females athletes than the story in itself I would definetly recommend it tho and as always look forward to the next book by this writing duo !

I loved reading this book. This is the first book where the athlete was a woman Even if she is in the LPGA. I love that she is a strong independent character who knows what and who she wants. She's known him forever and has wanted him for just as long. I love reading about a character who knows what she wants. These two authors blow me away with their books when they get together.

This book is HOT!!! Like Smokin Hot!!! I wasn't expecting that, but it was a very nice surprise! I am a big sports romance reader and I loved that this book went the non-traditional route and featured a female professional golfer! It was great to have a unique sports romance. This book revolves around a friends to lovers-second chance, which I also love, and it was really well done. I enjoyed the characters and the history they shared. I though the book was well written and featuring duel point of views. There were plenty of laugh out loud moments, plenty of sweet moments, along with a few "throw your kindle because the characters are not doing what they are supposed to be doing" moments!. I am looking forward to reading more from these two authors together and individually. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a fun, sweet, and oh so hot romance!

Riley and Mark’s story is sizzling hot with off the charts chemistry, exciting, hilarious and profound all at the same time.
I loved both characters. They are tough and heartfelt, caring and considerate, amiable and profound, each in their own way. They have to overcome some really tough obstacles in their relationship to find their happy ending and it was quite the ride until they got to this point!

I thought that this was a good premise for a story but struggled with the characters,felt one dimensional, particularly the heroine. I found her to be very judgmental and selfish, she was angry with the hero all the time and they was too much sex and golf talk wish I did not care in it and this dragged out too long for me. I took me longer to read. Overall, disappointed in this book.

Will it or won't it
This series is different from what I normally read and I really enjoyed it. It's a normal relationship that has to find ways to work with life's everyday adventures. It's sexy and fun, heartbreaking and sad all rolled into one. The characters are relatable and entertaining. The story is well written and exciting. I loved every aspect of this story.

I really liked the other two books in this series, but this one was just eh. And I have a serious continuity problem. In the epilogue of Fastball Ryder and Gina are getting married and Gina comments on Cassie’s pregnant belly. Well Hooked takes place BEFORE that wedding and Cassie already had the baby. WTH? What did I miss?

Disappointing read. I thought it was boring and I'm not a fan of Riley. She's selfish and annoying. I think Mark should have moved on. In the beginning she's immediately compared to Gina that they don't do attachments and it felt like the same story just a different sport.
