Nero's forces are still attacking and even poor Finn has become a target. Logan and his Cross brothers welcome another member to their family. Adam comes to a crossroads. Justus and Paige receive some unexpected and impossible news. And Silver learns more about herself than ever before. This concluding installment is full of action, revelations and family. And I LOVED it!!

What would you do if the one you love is taken from you, sent to jail, awaiting execution? If you're anything like Silver, you go with him. Because nothing will separate you! And if you're anything like Silver, you'll realize just how far you'll go for the one you love and exactly what you're willing to sacrifice. Bonds are tested and the only things these characters can be certain of is loyalty and love, of which they have in abundance. The author did an incredible job of capturing their heartache and their perseverance in the face of all the chaos.

I already feel like I've revealed too much, but if you remember, I hated Silver for the first three books. However, this book showed just how much she had grown over the series. Yes, she was still immature and rude and impulsive and she still annoyed me because she wouldn't listen, but she really stepped up. I think anyone willing to do anything to save someone else is someone to be admired. Knowing that I'll be seeing these characters again in the other books this author has created only makes this experience sweeter.

“Dying isn’t the hardest thing you’ll ever do--living is.”

Shine is the fifth and final book of the Mageri series by Dannika Dark. Silver is working hard with her ghuardian, Justus, to learn how to better use her new abilities as a mage. But there is constant danger from Nero, the evil mage that wants to start a war. Nero has been orchestrating attacks on council members. No one is safe.

This book took me through every emotion possible. There were the sweetest of moments between Silver and her true mate, Logan. The things Logan would say. I just have to “sigh.” Their devotion to each other is unparalleled. And as the book progresses, the sacrifices they are willing to make for one another is heart breaking. There was also heart pounding action and suspense as things unfold.

“I will love you until the stars burn out and we are nothing more than cosmic dust.”

I felt that Dannika Dark wrapped things up for all of the characters except Christian. There were so many things revealed in this book that were truly unbelievable. That all of the characters were tied together in so many ways. I was moved that all these different breeds came together and formed a family of sorts. They broke breed traditions and formed true bonds with one another. And it seemed fate had a hand in so many ways in bringing them all together. I can’t really say much more without giving things away.

The only character I was left not feeling good about was Christian. As Silver’s guard, he is always in the back ground. Never really seen. But he and Silver have shared blood and to a vampire, this creates a bond. So is it possible that Christian feels more of a bond to Silver than he should? I felt that he is unfairly treated and under-appreciated for what he does and was left wanting for his character.

I have truly loved this series and this book did not disappoint. It was a wonderful, sweet and heart pounding conclusion. Thank you to Dannika Dark for inviting us all into the world of the Mage. I will keep these characters in my heart for a long time and hope to see them again in future series.

I know all good things must come to an end, and despite the fact I am a little sad to say goodbye to these characters, Dannika Dark did a good job wrapping up their story.

This final book in the Mageri series wraps up almost all of the loose ends building over the course of the previous installments. And many of them tie together quite seamlessly. And the ax hanging over Logan‘s head about Terek’s death finally falls. Of course it had to. And it is all the more stirring, since Silver has accepted him as her mate. We learn what made Paige separate from Justus. And that one was kind of easy to figure out, but I enjoyed how it progressed anyway. Same thing with Adam’s mysterious blonde songbird we met in the last book. I’m glad the author did not rush this relationship the way some of the others were done, but it is obvious that these two are destined for an HEA. Her identity did not come as a great surprise, but I did appreciate the symmetry of it all.

Despite the fact there were a few things I found a little predictable and a little easy, there were a few minor surprises, particularly about Novis, Finn, and the way we witness the culmination of Silver’s ability. The climax was very dramatic and satisfying.

The core romance gave me everything I needed, but surprisingly held off on a few things I expected it to deliver. That’s OK, though. There were enough ways that the story ended borderline too perfect. I appreciate that not every stereotypical ideal had to be reached. Though I would have liked to have seen some kind of ceremony for these two.

There was plenty of action, angst, and warm and fuzzy feelings. My eyes, admittedly, welled up more than once.

Overall, this is absolutely a series worth reading. It has tens of thousands of ratings and reviews out there, so I’m obviously late to this party. But I’m glad I finally joined up. I understand that Dark’s other series all tie into the same world so I will no doubt end up reading them.

Obviously, this is not the book for new reader to jump in, but if you’re one of the few people who have not read this series, I would recommend you give Sterling a try. Soon, I think you’ll be as hooked as the rest of us.

This nicely wraps up the series. Makes me want to re-listen to the Crossbreed series but first I need to listen to the novellas and Risk, Simon's story which is set in the same world.

Shine was intense as Dark tied up threads, had our characters face their enemies and tested couples and friendships. I laughed at Justus and Page, cried for Logan and admired the hell out of Silver. We have come along way from Sterling where a young woman wakes up a Mage. I have come to love  Silver, Justus, Logan, Page, Christian, Simon, Adam, and Finn. Oh heck, I even love secondary characters like Zoe's best friend, the leader of the council and those we lost along the way. I am saddened this is the end but felt Dark did justice to these characters and left us with hope for these characters. Christian Poe appears in the Crossbreed series, and I am hoping others will as well.

Since an in-depth review of Shine would reveal too many spoilers, I am instead sharing five reasons to listen or read the series.

Five reasons to begin the Mageri Series:

An urban world with different paranormal creatures who live secretly among humans and are governed by a council made up of each breed. Dark has created a world you'll want to be a part of from the characters to their abilities and rules.

The characters! Fans of Kim Harrison, Patrica Briggs, and Anne Bishop will love the intense, complex, and charismatic characters Dark shares in her worlds. Silver, our protagonist, is selfless, kickass and tenacious with a soft side. You'll laugh at Justus before you realize he has stolen your heart. Simon is hilarious, and Christian Poe will make you scream for more. Your heart will break for Adam, but you'll close Shine with hope for him. You will want to hug Finn, and after a rough beginning, you will swoon for Logan.  Their bonds, comradery, banter, and willingness to help each other make these stories memorable.

The overall story ARC begins with Silver's creation in Sterling and is developed in each novel as characters face new dangers and gather clues.  The saga is well written, and eventually, everything weaves together in Shine. While I made a few connections Shine delivered plenty of ah-ha moments that surprised me, answered a nagging question and pulled threads together brilliantly.

Side stories and characters like Page and Adam added depth and pull the reader into their world. I felt apart of it and became emotionally attached. I laughed, worried and lordy on occasion Dark made me weep like a babe. I felt sorry for Christian, screamed at injustices our characters faced and celebrated their happy moments. When an author creates characters who become like friends, you know you've found something special.

While I am sure reading the Mageri series is enjoyable, Nichole Poole narrates this series, and she brings a whole new level of enjoyment to this series. Her voices both male and female have become the voices of these characters, and she beautifully captures their tones, mannerisms, and emotions. I have said Dark is like crack and Poole is her dealer. Bwahaha! When given a choice I will reach for my earbuds every time.

Coming to the end of this series is bitter sweet. The ending couldn't be more astounding for this series. I laughed, I cried, I hated, I loved. Everything you could possibly feel, I felt. This is been a mind-blowing experience and all I have to say is thank you Dannika for taking us on this journey with you. You are an amazingly awesome respectable profound writer. Thank you for sharing your talent, creativity and this world with is. It's hard to say good bye to these set of characters that we have grown so attached to, however, I am very excited to see where they turn up in the future.

In this final chapter we see a different side to every character. The toughies have a softer side and all the ladies are forces to be reckoned with. Justus has lived for so long and all that he deserves lies in Page. Their love story wasn't over yet and what is meant to be will be. They are a true testament to that. Their love will be the creation of the most precious gift. This big lug has a tender soul, a good heart. Silver has grown so much since the beginning of the series. She's become more comfortable with who she is and is no longer hiding from her true feelings anymore. Especially for the man she is meant to love. Logan is sexier than ever standing by his woman as a protector and a partner. They would sacrifice their lives for each other and that to me is the strongest kind of love there is.

Another character that has found their voice through all this darkness and chaos is Finn. I love FInn! He is a true alpha and O.M.G. what you find about him, his past and his connection to Silver will BLOW. YOUR. MIND. Coincidences and fate work hand in hand. When they come together a fantastical surprise is not too far behind. If I was his mother I feel proud of the man he has and will grow to be.

I don't want to talk about Nero but oh man this villain is truly a loathsome villain. Dannika couldn't have built him better. He is disgustingly sinful and all types of evil. Nero got what he deserved but I felt maybe it was too easy and the punishment was just not severe enough. He has met his match though as Silver tapped into her newfound powers. She is a true hero.

There is a lot of in awe and shocking moments happening here. You'll be experiencing some light headedness, "I can't believe this is happening", "Please no", gut wrenching, WTH moments. The losses/near losses are just so painful you'll want to die. Of course there's a good balance of laugh out loud moments. Tears will come regardless of what. It is the end and yet not really. It is a great beginning to many more stories to come. This end for this series though is the most fitting. I hope to Simon in the near future though. We're still missing his story!

Not a bad finale! The author tied up all loose ends, and there is a happy ending. Cliché or not, I have always liked happy endings.

The series is not the best I have read in this particular genre. This is mainly because the protagonista is not up to the mark. She is repeatedly described as special and extraordinary, but her actions and overall mien prove otherwise. In this final book she does reveal some of her powers but I wish Ms. Dark would have gone for a more vivid explanation of her abilities. The final battle against evil lacked spark, pardon the pun. Silver's abilities as a Unique ended up being lacklustre. Most of the other characters outshone her, and the only charm she seemed to have was attracting unwanted attention from evil henchmen and the more flattering attention of the harem of gorgeous men in this book, making killer enchiladas and being whiny. She does show promise as a person, laying down her life on the line for those she loves - and I can finally see her toughen up, but she did not win me over.

There was a lot of fan service - which I did not mind. I imagine every girl reading this blew a fuse when our favourite Chitah was incarcerated. That he survived had me smiling with relief. Justus also deserved his happy ending, and I wish there was the possibility of a spinoff about Rose La Croix.

I am truly saddened that Novis and Christian did not get more face time. They need their own series! And so does the entire Cross family. It seems a waste to not pursue the stories of Leo, Levi, Lucian, Sadie and Finnegan.

Lastly, I didn't like how Ms. Dark just linked each character's history to another in such an obvious way. It felt more like convenience than Fate. I wish there was a little more finesse because in the end it felt as though all the neighbors are related by some fluke.

Regardless of its shortcomings, this book and the overall series deserves no less than 3 stars because LOGAN CROSS!! An easy read and got me out of my reading rut.

5 Shine Star’s

I finished this audiobook today and needed a few hrs to let it sync in this was really the last book. I know there is a novella yet but wow what an ending.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series in audio. Dannkia Dark can sure write a paranormal book that sucks you in to the very last word. I can’t say who my favorite character is because I truly loved them all in their own ways. Yes even Christian who I wasn’t really a fan of, and that’s saying something because I freaking love vampires.

I will admit I teared up in the last book but it had nothing on this one. I bawled like a dang baby. I even had my son come ask me if I was alright, me – I am fine just the book. Sob, sob, sob..

Silver wow this girl she has grown from the girl she once was and I want to listen to more, more, more, I feel like I could listen to another 5 books , maybe Simon? Yeah I say we need a Simon book to be sure! Oh and Adam yes please Mr. Yummy pants he totally is I don’t care he is scared it only adds to his charm.

This was a lot of chatter because this book speaks for itself. I don’t need to give you a plot run down you can read the blurb for that. I feel like this is a good bye to a great series letter more than a review. If you read or listened to the other books its already automatic you’re going to get this book I mean hello more Logan, Justus, Simon, Adam and Christian not to mention Fin and the other Cross brothers. Hello man meat ;)

I can’t say enough great things about this narrator she brought each character to life in their own way. I loved it to the moon and back. She did an outstanding job.

I consider this rating and review to address the series as a whole, rather than just this single entry in the series.

I admit I had, intermittently, a difficult time with this series. There were numerous times when I found the drama to be mostly dysfunctional melodrama and sometimes even that seemed quite contrived. While discussing this with a friend the friend said that her perception of Dark is that she is knowledgeable about typical dysfunctions, issues, and drama that women might be prone to until they mature and self actualize, and that perhaps Dark is attempting to portray these things and the growth to move through them in her books. Upon reflection I can see that it could be intentional and used as character growth framework. For me, however, these dysfunctions and issues are things that I don't particularly enjoy in my fiction. Some of them tore me right out of suspension of disbelief as if I were doused with a bucket of cold water. Much of the emotional turmoil in this series just wasn't believable for me. I also thought that the pacing was spotty and inconsistent, but that could have just been me going from full immersion to rolling my eyes.

And yet...

By the end of the series I knew I would miss the world when I was done. I knew I would wonder about the characters and imagine them continuing to move on and grow and bond and build their family. I want to see more of them and to spend more time in this world. I want to see the changes away from the misogyny and racial tensions that were so prevalent in this world. I want to see how many more kids could be born to "sterile" breeds. I want to see how strong those kids become.

I really do want more. As much as some of the tropes made me roll my eyes, over all it was well done. But you have to stick with it to get that out of it. And it absolutely made me want to read some of Dark's more recent stuff to see how her writing may have matured. I've heard good things about her Crossbreed series and, as I write this, I see that Crossbreed takes place in the same world. So I guess I get my wish.

Over all it was a good series that I would recommend for the average urban fantasy and paranormal romance reader, but I would advise being ready to stick with it when you find yourself rolling your eyes. It's worth it to push through it.

I completely enjoyed this series even while kicking myself, rolling my eyes, and shaking my head. I love the characters, I love the banter. Each Breed is slightly different and is true to itself. The intermingling is interesting.

While Silver is the star here, I find myself completely in love with so many other characters and I'd dearly love to see them all get their happy new beginning. Dunno if that is going to happen, but I'd sure love to see it.

I realize an author has to create her world to do as she sees fit . . . but so much, so VERY much, seems to happen in this series JUST to cause conflict. And, I know that is the way it is, but RARELY is it SO obvious. There is no other earthly reason for so many things to happen in this entire series. It JUST happens to drive things the way she sees. Now, don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed it and reached a point where I could not put it down, but, seriously, the contrivance aggravates me.

And, that is why it only gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Well... I was a little bored with this to be honest. 5 books in this series might have been a little too much for me. Some parts in book 4 and 5 dragged a bit. It took me forever to finish the last few chapters of this last book since I simply lost interest in the end. And I discovered that I'm not really a fan of this whole marking thing :S But I still liked the overall plot of this series, even though 3 books instead of 5 would have been better in my opinion.

This is the latest and last of the Mageri series by Dannika Dark. I finished it a few days ago but wanted to wait and let everything sink in before writing this, because this book is guaranteed to give you a major book hangover, as it did me. I would like to say that I can’t begin to tell you how much I loved this book and series, but then there wouldn’t be a review, so I will try to explain how really fantastic this book experience has been for me.
The series started with Zoe, just an ordinary woman with maybe a bit more static electricity in her touch then normal, but pretty normal all things considered. She is attacked and left for dead. When she wakes up and escapes the body bag in the ambulance, she is rescued by a man named Adam and eventually completely changes her looks-as in she is a completely different person- except for her mind-all this done somehow magically while she heals. At this point in the series, I was totally hooked.
So much happens in this series. As Silver(Zoe’s new name after her transformation) starts learning what she actually is now and what powers she has, Dannika deftly orchestrates the story so that so many of the little nuances that you either might or might not necessarily notice, become important later on in the series. This helps move the story along until its ending. And what a perfect ending Dannika has crafted. I loved that so many things get explained and most(but not all) of the loose ends get tied up with a beautiful bow like a present to her readers. Every time something else would get explained or finished in this book, I would literally say out loud..”Ah that’s why” or words to that effect. I actually read it a lot slower then usual, as I wanted to make it last.
My absolute favorite thing about this series? The character of Logan Cross. The best alpha male character that I have ever read, bar none. The romance between Silver and Logan is just the best and really different from most romances-especially the way they first meet.
I loved that although this is the last book in the series, the author plans to include at least one of the characters in a future book. This character, Christian, is one that needs a bit more explaining to find out what happens to him, so that works for me! I would be happy to see a lot more then just one of the characters used in future books(Simon) and I am sure the author’s readers would agree with me. I became completely involved with these characters and I will miss reading about them. Ms. Dark is very accomplished at fully drawing her characters. I feel like I could pretty much describe most of them, right down to the smallest attribute.
I had mixed feelings about reading this book. I wanted to read it and couldn’t wait for it to be released, but at the same time I really didn’t want the series to be over. I attribute this to the excellent story telling by the author. This series has it all, romance, mystery, action, humor, and yes even some tragedy. You laugh, you cry and you totally immerse yourself in this extraordinary world the author has built. Urban Fantasy doesn’t get much better then this and I would recommend this to all people that love UF or paranormal romance.
On a side note, if you read the series and want to vent or just discuss, there are two groups on Facebook just for that. A visit to the Dannika Dark Facebook page will get you pointed in the right direction.(PureTextuality.com)

Well what can I say?
This was an amazing end to an amazing series.
The Author brought everyone together for this final instalment and all the questions you have asked yourself through the series are finally answered.
The Author still managed to shock me and even made me cry but what I love must is the humour that you find in each book. And yes I will admit to warming to character's more that I haven't liked so much in previous books.
I have been a fan of Logan and Silver's relationship from the beginning and I swear I swoon more each time as Logan is one honourable man. I have to say that Silver really stood by her man in this book and it was so good to see she really proved herself in this story.
The one thing I would have liked to have more off was the fight scene personally for me it was over to quickly.
I'm going to miss this series and it's character's but I know there are going to be spin off's so I will look forward to them. Dannika has a fan for life in me and if you haven't read this series yet what you waiting for, you will love it.
I will leave you in the hands of Logan as this man just melts my heart with this quote..

" I will not hope for something she is unable to give me. It wouldn't be fair to Silver. Without stars, there is still the moon to light up the night sky, and Silver is my moon. Why wish for the stars when I have all the light I need?"

So, I started reading this series and immediately fell in love with it! For a while, I even thought of it as my favourite series. Then, Logan Cross was introduced and suddenly a became a big part of the storyline. I DID NOT like Logan. I don't know why everyone seems so infatuated with him. From the beginning I thought he was creepy and possessive. Anyways, I think the last couple books would really benefit from having more interaction with the character of Simon or even any other character besides Logan. I just can't bring myself to finish this last book. I'm three
quarters through it. I rarely stop reading book part way through let slim a series! I'm going to head on back to the Seven series also by Dannika Dark. I'm on book 4 and hoping it's as good as the first three!

I thought this was a story about Justus and Paige, but it isn't. It's like the 'Young and the Restless' of Urban Fantasy. The MC is actually Silver... guess she is the main character in all the books??
Anyhoo, she doesn't interest me.
Oh well.

This is the last book focused on Silver and Logan. Drama was high in this novel, and we briefly meet Sunny's brother that was introduced in Closer. The future of Justus and Paige is tied up in a neat little bow. Relationships are made, broken, and tested in this novel. The ending seemed to drag on as the author tried to address the future of everyone.

This is the last installment of my very favorite series (Mageri Series)… Can you imagine how emotional this made me? I was excited and a mess. I was a mess! I’m beyond grateful to learn that we will continue to see the Mageri world with new casts of characters. Yay. (Maybe some cameos ;))

From the beginning of the series there has been great character and plot growth. Something that I think sets Ms. Dark apart. Each book has been consistently entertaining and gut wrenching. So much develops in this book that it is hard to write about my favorite parts without posting spoilers, so as vaguely as possible…

*The amount of respect that Justus shows for Silver and her decisions is breathtaking. You know it had to be hard for him to watch and do nothing, but he wouldn’t shame her like that.

*Oh, Silver and Logan… awes <3 Those two give me diabetes. So sweet! There needs to be a ‘Logan Cross’s Guide to Treating Your Female’ out soon.

*And Page and Justus… OMGs!!!! Go get your happy on Ghaurdian! Imagine Justus smiles… *unicorns sighed*

*And finally Adam and ____ (name withheld for spoilery purposes)... Holy crap! <3 So happy for him. I was most worried about him over the last few books. He has purpose again.

*Simon needs hugs  and Sunny has proven she is a survivor. Novis even has a few shreds of humanity left to knit together <3

*OMG WHAT DID SILVER DO!?!?!?!

*I am a huge Christian Poe lover and I will say that I don’t think he was treated well in this book at all. OK, maybe he hasn’t ever been treated greatly because he is hard to get along with but he still he does so much for everyone and they were jerks. *huff*

(See what I mean about not being able to share spoilers… so much awesome happened and I have to be really careful how I bring it up! LOL)

I’m dead serious when I say there are times I put my Kindle down, gulped, looked at my husband, looked at my Kindle, gulped and picked it up again. Hubs thought I was having an “episode” LOL. This is by far the oddest review I have left and will make little sense to anyone who hasn’t read the 4 previous books. I’m not crazy, promise, just love my Mageri!

Dannika Dark is one of my favorite authors. Every novel keeps the reader flowing through pages until the wee hours of the morning, revealing mystery after love story after action scene that emotes so completely and effortlessly, always leaving you wanting more. Knowing that Shine is the intended last novel of the Mageri series is so perfectly unfortunate - just what I'm sure Ms. Dark intended.

Five stars is the LEAST I could give this installment! Silver and Logan are keeping us busy panting and drooling over their insane and insatiable love life while their love is tested with a we-can-never-come-back-from-this, is-this-really-our-life problem with an impossible answer. Justice is busy training Silver and trying to keep his mind off of that impossible Relic, Page. Christian is sulking. Sexily. The Cross Family is coming together in all sorts of ways while Adam begins to finagle his way into them...and not in the way you expect. Finn is growing into the Alpha he was born to be, but someone from his past threatens the safety he's found with his new family. Sunny is remarkably pregnant and Novis is taking his role as protector rather seriously. And who can forget Simon? He continues lavishly expanding his sexual lexicon in sorts of inappropriate environments.

All of these characters that readers have adored are growing exponentially, becoming kinder, stronger, more selfless, marking themselves as worth their very own spin off novels *hint hint*! Also, if you haven't read a novel by Ms. Dark, know that her writing style is languid while direct, intelligent but colorful - I can never get enough!

I sat and devoured Shine in one sitting - and it's a moderately long one. Dannika leaves the ending open enough that she could decide to develop these characters further while still seamlessly answering the most important questions in the reader's mind. If you haven't yet, pick up ALL of Dannika's series. She is a flipping ROCKSTAR!

First of all...BEST. SERIES. EVER. Second...I liked it so much, that I got sucked into the afterglow of it all so much, that I broke my golden rule, and didn't write my review right away. I know...horrible.

Although I didn't write it right away, I can still say this for sure: I waited a few weeks after this came out to read it. I was scared to let it end. As it turns out, I had nothing to fear. EVERY character had the perfect ending. I wasn't disappointed that one of them got left out, didn't get 'wrapped up' correctly, or had a disappointing ending. Nope...that has never been Dannika Dark's way. As usual, it was perfect. Every detail covered.

This far into the series (and especially being the last one), it's really difficult to give a detailed review without giving anything away, because there are SO many things that happen. I'm not gonna lie...there were some tears, but more happy than sad. And there was definitely laughter. But what's most important is that I finished the story with a very content smile on my face. Sure, I'd love to see where some on them end up years later, but who knows...maybe Ms. Dark will miss them too! :-)

It is a sweet sorrow when one of your favorite series ends, SHINE is no exception. Dannika Dark brilliantly ties up all the loose ends and gives us the closure we are looking for but leaves us begging for more of these characters that have become a part of our lives.

I loved the transformation of Silver into the person she is today. Her relationship with Logan is put to the ultimate test. Her true bad-ass-ness is revealed, and man, what an electrifying show.

Amazing revelations will be revealed, heartfelt tragedy, and miracles catapult this story into the amazing zone. If you like the Mageri series, you are going to love this book.

Thank you, Ms. Dark, for sharing this captivating story from your imagination. It seems like just yesterday you introduced us to the world of the Mageri. Although I'm saddened by the ending of this marvelous adventure, I can't wait to discover what other magical experiences you have in store for us.

Between 50-80% of the book, I was straight out BAWLING. That book is SO fecking sweet! Yeah, I love Logan to pieces, but I also had a thing for Christian. His banter with Silver was hilarious. I'm so happy for Justus and Adam, and Silver's kickass powers are OMG-worthy. The end of the book was SUCH a great way to complete the series and just so beautiful. But I keep thinking back to the fact that Silver will end up outliving her Logan and would be forced to experience his death... God that jail part was just heartbreaking.
Seriously, Dannika Dark is someone to freakin worship and revere, cause damn, this series was probably the best New Adult Urban Fantasy series I've ever read. I hope if she does make novella of the Mageri world, it will be about Logan and Silver's future. Silver's story is just too amazing.

This was an extremely emotional book for me. I have a very bad habit of not reading the last book in a series because I do not like saying goodbye. I am so glad I read Shine. I've read some pretty intense and emotional books but this one took me on one hell of a wild ride. The characters faced and overcame things that I sure as hell couldn't have. As rough as some parts were to read, I understand everything that lead to the ending. It was beautiful and it was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better ending.

Thank you Dannika for giving me a series that I will forever cherish. This is one I will most definitely be re-reading.
