THE COMPLETE SERIES, now FREE with Kindle Unlimited. 5 books and NO cliffies!
Book 1: JASE I did not work my ass off to become a Navy SEAL because I had a desire to add the title of “nursemaid” to my resume. So when my commanding officer requested that I go check up on his baby sister, I was understandably less than thrilled. Just because Rachel’s roommate thinks that Rachel got herself kidnapped doesn’t make it true. Rachel is notorious for her bad decisions and I have no doubt that Rachel’s equally silly roommate has likely blown things way out of proportion.
Book 2: BRECKIN Tasha Campbell is bar none the most fascinating female I’ve ever met. The woman could eat metal and spit nails. She’s smart, tough, and determined in a way that I haven’t seen in anyone but my SEAL brothers. I never intended to let her get embroiled in my investigation, but she sort of weaseled her way in and then managed to prove to me that we need her.
Book 3: MARLON I’ve never been the type of guy to shack up with a woman for a long term relationship. I never saw myself as a marriage and family type of man. But the second Marina Reyes showed up right smack in the middle of my recon at Baltimore Harbor, she got under my skin in a way that won’t quit. I knew Yates was sending me someone with inside information. I had no clue that Marina’s information came from so far inside. When I think of what they did to her while they held her I want to tear them apart with my bare hands.
Book 4: DESMOND Every SEAL team member has their own special brand of bad ass. Mine is all about jumping in before I look. I’m the guy that’s always up for anything. Life is no good unless you’re living large and taking risks. That’s probably why I didn’t flinch when the others suggested I break into a dirty accountant’s home in the middle of a party. Who doesn’t love a good party crash?
Book 5: ALEXANDER When I first decided to squeeze information from Agent Isabella Rockwood, I had forgotten what a kick she is to my libido. The woman practically sweats my personal brand of pheromone. She’s smart. She’s sexy. And she won’t tell me a damn thing I need to know! It drives me insane, but I can’t really blame her. My team and I aren’t exactly the most popular people in town right now. But when someone starts trying to kill us, Isabella and I will have to work together to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.
I don't usually read books like this with all the intensity and action but I loved it. I believe this is my first time reading from this author. I could not put this book down I was reading it while fighting and eventually losing to sleep. I woke around 1am and immediately picked it up so I could finish. I love all the characters although Tasha pissed me off at times and Rachel surprised me close to the end. I just have to say I was not expecting that!! I honestly downloaded this book and thought I was going to read a few pages hate it and delete it from my kindle. I'm glad to say that I was so wrong! I've already recommended this book to a few friends and plan on going to download more of this authors books next. Read this book you won't regret it.
I would have given this book four stars for the interesting rather complicated plot, the interesting diverse characters and the rather gruesome action. I gave it two stars because of the incredibly crappy editing. Or lack of. It got so bad in the 5th book, I occasionally lost the story. Is it that hard to find a beta reader? There were the usual punctuation and spelling mistakes. "She put on the cozy bathroom..." And using too many exclamation points. (Hint - guys do not speak in an excited way as often as that) This author took poor writing to the next level. She switched from first person writing to third person then back again in one chapter for no reason. Her style in the 5th book was so much worse than the others. It felt rushed. And speaking of rushed, I am not one to complain about sex scenes but these people broke land speed records getting into bed. I wish she would have found other words to use rather than constantly saying "pussy." I don't think I will read anything else by this author. Which is too bad because I did enjoy the story line. I just could not handle the execution.
It started out great and as each book went it got worse!! The women characters were mostly horrible and unrelatable!! They were not understanding or excepting in any real capacity...and it ultimately did not make me like them or root for them!! The first book really was good but after that the men even became catty and more and more unable to take care of problems you think they should be more then able to handle!! It just totally gets out of control after that!! The story becomes to much....it's not believable anymore. It's kinda a let down after how strong the story started!! It's almost like the author tries to take the plot to many directions and is unable to make it all work!! It gets hard to follow at points and I almost stopped reading simply because the story was all over the place!! Lastly, I did not feel like all the characters personal plot lines were tied up neatly at all!! It was kind of crappy to see all these characters end without a more detailed explanation of where their lives ended up!!
Overall, the story started out a great mystery and plenty of hot singles getting together. In the end it went to far with the mystery and did not tie up loose ends with the relationships. In particular the women characters were all together ridiculous....they were not believable and I did not care for any of them through the story!! They were difficult and hateful and do not reflect how I feel real women would hopefully treat a Navy SEAL.
This box set has a LOT going on (in a good way). There is insta lust/love, suspense, strong men & women, loads of different feelings, bad guys galore and crazy plot twists that keep you guessing! The men in each book met their match via different circumstances, fell into insta lust/love with the heroines and the women felt the same about the heroes and had some HOT sex scenes (open door)! Of course the H/h in each book help bring pieces of the puzzle together for the overall story arc which ALSO brings in plot twists. The evil/bad guy is figured out fairly quickly, but no one knows exactly what his intentions are. Due to the overall story arc definitely read the books in order (easy to do with a box set) if you happen to buy the books individually. I enjoyed reading this series and felt for the main characters, therefore, I recommend this box set/ series.
O.M.G. Talk about having a book grab you and not let go!! Ms Silverman has done this throughout the whole book! She gets you so wrapped up into the story of each of the men, their women, and task at hand, she then hits you in your gut, wraps around your heart and yanks on it. Then when things cant get harder...she throws in love. uuuuugh!! This book would not let me do anything else except read to see what happens next. As one who knows human trafficking is real and goes on daily somewhere in the world this book really brought it front and center and to the United States. Doesn't matter what state you live in, it is going on. Thank you, my dear, for such a fantastic and oh-so real read. Ms Silverman is a new author for me. I cannot wait to see what else she has in store.
This sounded like it was going to be a really great read about a SEAL team who swept in to save the day. The first book is the hardest to get through. Cassidy is completely irritating and most of the storyline is as frustrating as I can't imagine a SEAL ever operating in this manner. Putting that aside - the following books are better. The storyline actually is quite complex which is what made me carry on reading. The men are hot but clearly not at all realistic as they are spouting I love you to their various other halves,- within 24hrs of meeting complete strangers. Love at first sight clearly exists for 5 hard core SEALs.
I wasn't sure about this series when I bought it, I'm so glad I did! Ms. Silverman did a wonderful job with this series. Each book had every thing: angst, friction, intrigue, comedy, steamy love scenes, strong women and strong men. The amount of detail was just the right amount without detracting from the story lines. I liked that she included updates on Rachel between the books. You could feel the changes in her as the search for her continued. Great series, Ms. Silverman, thank you.
This book had potential but for some reason I hated all of the characters. The writer obviously did not edit this book. Characters name changed from one paragraph to the next. The dialogue was horrible. In one book the main female character was approached by two young ladies while she was getting coffee in a coffee shop. The young ladies approached her to give her grief because she was wearing jeans and a hoodie and they were in designer outfit. That plotline made no sense or it was poorly executed at that point in time of the story and who really cares about what she was wearing when the character just found out her father was involved in illegal activities. I basically skimmed thru the last two books when I couldn't take it anymore. I just wanted to see how it ended. Thank goodness I did pay for this book. This would've been an instance I would've demanded my money back. I have read many action suspense type book especially involving Seals or military type personnel and I found it strange the Seal members lacked weapons to protect themselves when we're breaking into places they shouldn't have when they know it was highly dangerous. Like I said the book had potential but was poorly executed.
In all I liked the series but felt like there was things left out in the 1st 4 books that could have tied it better to the last book. Also, there were some typos in the last book so I caught myself going back and rereading to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I would recommend this author though.
I loved reading this five story series. The problem was the multiple spelling and grammatical errors. In book five, the author even switched to first person point of view. These types of errors can be really distracting and make it really hard to follow.
I couldn't get past book 1. The characters didn't have enough depth to them, there wasn't enough lead up to get me invested in the characters. I have OCD and it usually drives me crazy not to finish a series but this one was a no for me. I tried but gave up after chapter 8
I decided to give this series another chance after putting it in the DNF pile last year. It was a disappointment, but I forced myself to finish. The first 3 books were somewhat interesting, the 4th took a weird turn, and the 5th was completely ridiculous. #1 and #2 four stars #3 three stars #4 two stars #5 one star
This book will have ignoring your housework, kids, husband and phone. Its non stop action filled with hot sex scenes and overcoming obstacles. Its one continuous story leading into another. No cluff hangers and definitely HEA!
I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. All the twist and turns, who were the good guys, who were the bad guys? Exciting, hot. Buff Seals cleaning up the mystery. A must read.
All five stories were excellent. Each different in it's own way. Each had enough twists and turns to keep you reading to get to the end of the story. I b'day interesting for almost all readers.
This was a fascinating book to read. Hard to put it down. 👍 The men were amazing as were the women they met and fell in love with. The whole storyline was great. A must read. I thank the author for the way she put it all together.
It is amazing what a person can survive. Even though this is fiction we know that life is often very cruel for some. It was an emotional and heart pounding read.
This book has twist & turns everywhere. You will be mad, happy, sad and even laughing. Just when you think you have the ending figured out, something else happens!
Storyline too serious for this type of book. I’ve read other books by this author but this one is a little dark when I want light reading (no pun intended).
Book, 1 Romero and Cassidy. This was a good start to the series, but rather predictable. The damsel gets saved by the seal multiple times and they start a relationship. Not an original concept, but still a good story.
Book, 2 Yates and Tasha. This story was good, possibly better than the 1st one. I was impressed with Tasha's ferocity on finding the missing women.
Book 3, Bones and Marina. Gotta say, this viewpoint of the story made it very interesting. It gave the reader a perspective of the situation from the outside and made it more than just a mystery / romance book. Add to that the chemistry between the characters and it was even better.
Bok 4, Sparks and Jai. Interesting story between these 2, but very unlikely. This story was a little far fetched to me and the ending was just too predictable. The only thing I didn't anticipate was the Uncle, which was a nice twist. But, it wasn't enough to call this story good.
Book 5, Trapp and Isabella. great ending to this series. I figured strapped would be the last story, but I couldn't anticipate who would be the female lead. I liked that Isabella wasn't weak. but at the same time, she knew when to let him be the seal he was. overall, this was a great series.
Almost 800 pages of dragging on with the same case. 5 different couples with almost the exact same way of having sex and almost the exact same dialogue. No safe sex, n with seals that's not believable. I also think any author has a responsibility to their readers regarding this subject...I've read 100's of books like this, and this is the first series I have come across ignoring safe sex. The human trafficking case that these seals r working , separate I might add, is dragged on way too long. I prefer a seal teams members saving their girls with different acts of sex and different plots. Grammar is fine other than in the 2nd book as the girls name is Tasha, it was printed as Trisha.
This could have been a really good book! The plot line was great. However, there were so many mistakes it took away from the story. Names were wrong when talking about certain character. Getting the main character's name completely wrong was a huge problem for me (Tasha became Trisha, and then was Tasha again). In one of the books it went from 3rd person to 1st person for part of a chapter. I read all five books one right after the other and there were inconsistencies from one to the other. It was almost as if the author had a story in mind but didn't read it afterwards to make sure everything was cohesive. It could have easily been a 5 star read for me, but I couldn't get past the errors.
Each book in this series was intriguing, sexy, awesome, romantic, loving and full of mystery. I truly enjoyed reading each book in this series. I would definitely recommend this series to read!👏👏👏👏👐👐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
These books were fantastic reading. The story carried through each of the books and was so gripping. A fabulous read that has you turning page after page.
