Book #2, in the Warriors shorts

This second story may be short 52 pages or so but is packed with suspense from the opening page and keeps us glued to every word till its final sentence. Zeb Carter is in poverty stricken area of Cape Town, South Africa when he is approached by a child…. a gang is harassing his family, he needs help ….

Of course this is a fast read, action packed and well- written. It has a very interesting subject matter around drugs and child trafficking organisations and a warrior to save the day. This short story fits well between the main Warriors series and I enjoy squeezing it in my spare time. Till next time “In the Shadow”, enjoy…..

We often take for granted our life, our safety. Not everyone has that security. Anele lives in one of those places. His life is not secure, but more importantly, his sister's life is in danger. Bad men want her for a life she will never be able to live through. He has to protect her.

Anele becomes the watcher, watching the man in the park. Every day he does the same thing. Maybe he is the answer. Anele isn't a bad boy, just desperate. It's okay, he tells himself as he approaches the bag as the man is away...The boy didn't count on just who this man is and what he does.

Now, the man has a choice. Will he turn the boy in? Is that really in his nature? Not the man we all know and love. You're in for the ride of your life as Zeb once again takes on the bad guys.

No one is a match for these great reads. Now we get a Ty Patterson fix every month. This short will not disappoint. The characters are real, the situations emotional, and the battles Zeb Carter all the way.
And I thought a once a month was going to do, don't suppose you could up that to once a week could you, Mr. Patterson?
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

A perfect short story. While the protagonist fits in with the Warrior series, new readers will not be lost if they happen to pick up the story.

Fits in nicely with one of the Warrior series books. Zeb was described as having been out of the country, in Africa, in that novel. This story covers that period of time.

There are no references to the main series to confuse the new reader. Good job on that one, Mr. Patterson.

Don't be put off by the Four Star Rating. I very seldom give Five Stars to novels.

Every step you take, every move you make, he'll be watching you. The Watcher is a short novella by Ty Patterson that is filled with justifiable action. A female student in South Africa is being harassed outside school by a drug dealer and child trafficker and apparently this is commonplace there. The Watcher is told about it by her brother and he takes care of business. If you like reading about bad guys receiving their just due than this is for you. Evil flourishes when good men do nothing, the Watcher does not sit idly by. Ty Pattersons novella packs a punch just like the Watcher. Recommended .

Action packed short story that finds Zeb in South Africa. When a young boy tries to steal Zeb's duffel bag, Zeb gets drawn into helping the boy and his sister against some gang members. But in true Zeb style, he lets the police take the credit and he fades into the background.

Great read!

I've read some shorter stories before, which I love. But this has to be in the top 2. Amazing. Great action. Love the subject and the people you put in this. Love short stories. Couldn't put it down. Let's see more.

The Watcher Review by Ty Patterson 1/5/17

Part of the scenery, the Watcher sees all!

Eleven year old Anele robs The Watcher to pay off the murderous gang who is harassing his family. Big mistake! Now he has to contend with the mysterious Watcher, and face off the murderous gang. All by himself. The Watcher does nothing but sit in a park in Cape Town all day and watch life go by. Anele knows everything about him because he has been keeping tabs on The Watcher. What did I like? I think if you have ever read any of my reviews, you know by now I tell it like it is and how I see it. This is one of the best series that I have ever read. At this time in our country so much is going on that we all need something to take us up out of the dreary! This series will do that. I love the purity of the help that is given by Zeb Carter and his team, no matter which ones it is. Every one of them are trained with the experience to back up what they do and they don’t take guff. The series is built around the positive factor that they will help no matter what the situation is, national, international, drugs, children, murder, missing, or anything that needs to be done. They work together like a well-oiled machine and each one matches the others strengths and weakness. Oh, what am I saying, they don’t have any weaknesses! LOL

What are you going to like? Even though this is a short story that can be read rather quickly, it will keep your attention because of all the action and the fact that it concerns the kidnapping of kids. No one likes for that to happen. You will like the method of the group in dealing with the kidnappers and love the outcome. Nothing is better than when the bad guys get their butts kicked in such a glorious way!

Every one of the stories in this series is dealing with something that is extremely bad and I for one love the way that the group works in getting the jobs done so that the underdogs come out on top!!!!!

Unreal and super fast

I was impressed by the total control of the stranger and his complete destruction of the hangers. Too often we think of rehabilitation, when that's already too late. Thanks Ty for a reality check!!!

So interesting.....

These short stories are so fun to read. They answer a lot of questions from reading the Warrior Series. All the operatives are good hearted men and women. Love the stories. Thanks, Amarillo Turtle

The Watcher. TY Patterson

A short action packed thriller. Zeb Carter is in a poverty stricken area of Cape Town, South Africa. He is approached by a young child, begging for his help. His mother has just been murdered, his sister kidnapped. Zeb has a soft spot in his heart for children. He springs into action. This is extremely well written and full of suspense. I highly recommend.
