Healing Bear

Rate this book
Healing Bear – An exciting new bear shape shifter romance!

Abigail Palmer has the best job in the world. A wedding caterer, she gets to indulge in her love of happy endings – as well as sample all the dishes she creates! She pours her heart and soul into every bite and it shows. So what if she hasn’t found her own Prince Charming? She doesn’t need a man to be happy and fulfilled.

When the rudest man she’s ever met storms up to her stand at a wedding fayre, demanding she caters for his parents’ vow renewal, it’s hate at first sight. There’s absolutely no way she’d ever cook anything for Nathan or his family.

But when circumstances force her to spend more time with Nathan than she could ever have imagined, she gets to see a different side of him, a softer, gentler side. Will this new Nathan be able to melt her heart or is it just another one of his games?

Healing Bear is the third in the Love Laid Bear BBW paranormal romance series. Each book introduces a new couple to the series and is completely standalone, although you may prefer to read them in order for best effect. These novellas do get steamy, so if hot bear shifter romance books are your thing, you’ll love this!

Geeezzzzzzz I really love the Love Series.
Ms. Amber really has the talent to writing a lovable book that I didn't want to put down. Add the characters to the mix, well the whole thing is just remarkable. Yes, you definitely want to read the series you'll love the Loves.
Abigail Palmer aka: Abi is a wedding caterer, her food is remarkably orgasmic. Whatever she made it was just unbelievable they were so delicious whether it was finger foods or dinners they were always phenomenal. At a wedding Bazaar, to hook up with new clients there was everything you needed for a wedding, Abi was doing very well until this rude man comes walking in and demands her attention of course that wasn't going to happen he thought he could push all her soon-to-be clients away he's crazy and she let him know, little did she know that Shelby and Caleb engagement party her and that rude man would be be stuck in a situation together.
Nathan Love is Bear Shifter and a very rich man, who recently been having a lot of problems with the woman he's goes with all are after his money. That's why he thought just recently not that she was his mate, but he just figured they would be good together. Nope she left him for a richer man now he was done with women, maybe. He just saw this gorgeous woman he thought she's it, she is the woman for me but then he's been wrong so many times before it was better to be rude to her then nice.
A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

I absolutely loved this series in this last book the story is Nathan and Abigail. Abigail is a caterer and friends with Shelby who was from the first standalone book of this series Nathan is the brother of Caleb who is marrying Shelby. Nathan gets the recommendation of Shelby to hire Abigal for his parents party to renew their vows. Abigal and Nathan do not get along besides the fact that he is an arrogant ass. Twists, turns and aggravation. Will Nathan and Abigal work it out or will they just go their own separate ways. You will have to read the book

The perfect light PNR book for all shifter crazed readers. A heart warming love story, a keep-you-on-your-toes main character chemistry between a dedicated, accomplished, overall sweet young woman and a sultry, badmouthed, hunky shifter, what more can you ask for? With the books focus on the relationship the pace of it all is steady and entertaining without being exaggerated and unreal.
I received a free copy and voluntarily reviewed.

I loved this book. I enjoyed reading this book. I encourage everyone to get this book, it's worth your time and effort. The main male character starts off rocky at best but stay with the story, it's worth it. This is the first book by Amber Belmont that I have read but it will not be the last. A well written story.

Healing Bear

Sweet paranormal story. Werebear Nathan rubs Abi the wrong way from their first meeting. Getting stuck together over night changes things between them. Still Nathan manages to always say the wrong thing.

Nathan and Abigail have both been burned in the past. Now they both have to decide if they can see past their previous heartbreaks and move on to heal each other. Or will they allow the past to hold them back from a future.

I really enjoyed this story. Kind of wish there would've been maybe an epilogue to show how Nathan's previous ex reacted to the news he was taken. He mentions he doesn't want their relationship public, because it would hurt Abi.

I hope we get to see more of Matt or Justin (the wolf from the previous story).

Enemies to lovers shifter story

This is a quick read. The story is good, though not exactly what I was expecting after reading the blurb. Enemies to lovers theme. There's some feels some steam and an HEA. My biggest issue is the characters seemingly hating each other one minute, then totally attracted and lusty almost immediately. I realize with the lower word count there isn't much opportunity to develop the attraction. That being said, it's a pretty good read. Especially if you have a little time to kill.

Getting locked in wine cellar together for one night depending on each other an getting to know each better .

Shelby’s brother in law clashes with her cater by being snobbish, arrogant,an down right rude to her personality face to face demanding she cater his parents 30th anniversary she puts him in his place an tells him NO! They both recently came from broken relationships vowing to never date again the fate has other plans for them .

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Healing Bear by Amber Belmont is Book 3 in the Love Laid Bear series and my first read by this author. This is a cute quick read that reads as a stand alone. Despite not having read the other books, I wasn't lost and enjoyed the banter and snark between Abi and Caleb. This was a comedy of errors and I recommend this Saturday morning read to anyone looking for a few good laughs.

Ok

I am not really sure that I liked this book. The whole book was pretty much from the h view point. She kept walking out and never let the H explain and then in the next paragraph they were making love. The book itself kind of came to an abrupt end. I would have liked to see an epilogue or something.

The beginning was promising so I had great hope but the ebook is short. Maybe too short because the love story is too fast for me, I didn't feel them fall in love or anything, it's disappointing.
I wish the author would have develop their relationship a little bit because like I said, it felt promising.

Another great read for me

Though this author's stories are short compared to most, they are fun, sweet and sexy reads. This is the third in the series I read it first but because the story is so couple centric it really does well as a stand alone. Not going to say previous characters don't make an appearance but doesn't harp on their stories.

Healing Bear is the romance of Abigail Palmer, event caterer and Nathan Love, bear shifter. Both have been in relationships that hurt them and it takes a series of misunderstandings, a night in a wine cellar and a billboard to help these two start to communicate and acknowledge their mate connection. The ending by the waterfall was perfect for this couple and so romantic.

Opposites attract

What starts out as meeting a very rude man turns out to be the love of her life. While trying to set up a parents wedding redo a man says all the wrong things and pisses off the lady who it’s supposed to do the catering. After that it seems to get worse and then things take a turn for the best. Good characters, a plot fun to read and a quick read.

Moderately hot bear shifter romance with a happily ever after ending.

Quick read, good writing and plot, just short. Author ties several books together, yet they can be read as stand alone just as easily.

Disjointed

I felt like the book wasn’t finished editing. Parts were good, others left flat. Never became interested in them as a couple. Almost flipped to the end. Didn’t believe they were in “love”.

Abi and Nate meet at a Bridal Venue and take an instant dislike to each other. He wants her to do his parents vow renewal she tells him NO! Then they are locked in the family wine cellar overnight when the door closed and the panic button doesn’t work.

Love and Hate

I love stories where you can see the story unfold. To go from not wanting to have anything to do with this man to falling in love and having the fairytale of your dreams. I definitely recommend reading this book.
