Keepers takes place during the final scenes of Beat, and tells the story of certain Enforsers who must be heroes even as their world falls around them.
Sani and her squad of Enforsers are tasked with keeping the citizens of New Frisko calm and safe. When Nik Granjer, the young man whose friend died in mysterious circumstances, returns to New Frisko to wreak havoc, Sani and her squad are forced to question everything they've been taught their entire lives. But they can't take too long to choose sides; the lives of the most innocent and helpless citizens of New Frisko depend on them.

This is the first "Beat" story I've ever read. It was great! It's a good thing it was short (more like a short story than a novella) because my heart rate stayed pumped up high after the first page! I received a free copy in exchange for an HONEST review.
