King Noeh wants to live his single life, fight his enemy, and honor his goddess by winning the war over Earth’s most precious resource—water. Bonding to a female shifter is not part of the plan, not until his goddess insists he take a queen by the next full moon or lose his crown. When he rescues a beautiful female from the enemy’s grasp, a forbidden attraction blooms, and he must decide between his kingdom and his heart.

Melissa hunts for a new place she can call home, one far away from her controlling master who vowed to make her his concubine. Captured by the enemy and tortured to near death, she’s rescued by a brooding, handsome king. When her master shows up at the king’s underground Keep, the tension escalates. She struggles to keep the honorable king at arm’s length, but she can’t ignore the compelling desire he ignites in her soul.

An adventure of epic proportions, this was a fantastic read! The characters are strong, rich and vivid. The scenes are so detailed you can see and hear them. The author has a way with words that will draw you in and keep you enthralled. Adventure, romance, monsters, shifters, gods and goddesses, jilted lovers, forgiveness, love and friendship......and so much more is swept up into this story. The romance is hot, Sexy, full of fiestyness, and a hard journey to happiness, and it is worth every step. This is definitely a book that if you're looking for heart racing adventure and steam inducing romance, you will not want to miss this one. I highly recommend it!

Reviewer for paranormal romance and authors that rock.
I gave this book 5 fangs. It was very well written, started off a little slow with the explanation but once you got past that there was wonderful action. It reminded me a bit of the black dagger brotherhood in the sense that the Gossum make me think of Ward's lessers and the warriors fighting them are an ever dwindling number. I loved that melissa and noeh didnt just fall together and that was that, I loved her defiant I can take care of myself attitude. This is definitely a book that I will reread and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next in the lemurian battle for earth.

I tried, I really tried, but I couldn't care about anyone or anything in this book.

The chemistry between Noeh and Melissa is barely there, and their back and forth is so annoying. The world building had promise but there was just so much going on I glazed over much of it, and therefore didn't care who won, who had sex with who, and who died.

I DNFed this book and I will NOT be reading the rest of this series.

This is a well written book with strong , well developed characters and an interesting story line. The author does a fantastic job developing the story with detailed and vividly painted scenes. She pulls you in with all the drama and action as well as the intrigue and hot and steamy chemistry. I was glued to the pages right to the end. I loved and highly recommend this book.

The first book in The Warriors of Lemuria series is awesome.
First a little background… the planet of Lemuria is in grave danger. The gods of the world (and the people on the surface) desperately need water, so the gods are looking at other planets to colonize. The goddess Alora found the planet Earth and wants to make peaceful contact with the people of the planet and barter for water. A rival god, Zedron, wants to enslave the planet instead. The council of the gods decide to let both Alora and Zedron wage war, and the winner will choose what to do with the planet. They both pick their warriors from the races that live on Lemuria and send them to Earth to battle it out. After around 20,000 Earth years (1 Lemurian year), the war is coming to an end, but there’s no definitive winner yet.
On Earth, Melissa is a Dren, a descendant from the Panthera race (panther shape-shifters). After she’s kidnapped and tortured by the evil Gossums, she’s rescued by the Stiyaha warriors and taken to their underground fortress, the Keep. There’s an instant connection between her and her rescuer, Noeh, the king of the Stiyahas, but she’s still mourning the loss of her mate and son.
Noeh is a stoic, cold warrior and lives his life to serve his people. He refuses to take a mate, a queen, but after his Goddess, Alora, decrees he must or lose his crown, he has no other choice but to chose from the few Stiyaha females in the Keep. Or so he thinks. His attraction to Melissa confuses him, but he’s determined to do his duty to his people, not to his heart.
Melissa and Noeh are amazing and very likable characters. The chemistry between them sizzled. They both have baggage and a painful past, but they’re able to grow and move on once they start trusting and opening up to each other. Their romance and love bloomed out of mutual respect.
The side characters added a lot of depth to the story. I especially liked Saar, Gaetan, Ginnia, and Bet. Even Demir, one of the bad guys, is super hot and intriguing. His story is next and I would love to read it.
The writing is tight and snappy with very few typos, which I find refreshing. I really enjoyed the story and the universe the author created.

NOPE. GIVE ME A FATED MATE STORIES OVER THIS AND I MIGHT JUST ENJOY IT BETTER.

THIS STORY HAS SHIFTERS, BUT THEY CAN BARELY SHIFT BECAUSE OF A SICKNESS. WHUTTTT?
THE CHARACTERS ARE ALSO SAD LITTLE ANTS WHOSE LIVES ARE DICTATED BY GODS AT WAR.
PITIFUL.

NOEH is the King of Lemurians who refuses to ever marry or fall in love in order to protect his heart after watching the terrible deaths of his parents. But, his Goddess thinks otherwise and he has no choice but to marry soon. In the midst of all this, he rescues our heroine from captivity alongside his own comrade and becomes Melissa's self-appointed champion and protector. He's attracted to her. He doesn't want to act on it, but he's possessive, and the driving plot just seemed almost ridiculous. The chemistry between him and Melissa didn't flow AS naturally as I wanted it to, and it's almost insta-love, it took the fun out of everything.

MELISSA is young to even have a mate or child, but yes she lost her mate and child at 24 years old and she's the only being in the world who can actually conceive. Due to the Gods' war, something happened and a disease broke out that rendered shifters unable to shift and women barren. Melissa is escaping from her old Master who is obsessed with her because she looks like his dead mate. She's rescued by Noeh and becomes a guest in his home where they fall in love.

OVERALL some aspects of it was cool, but I just couldn't buy into the whole plot because it turned out lame. And I really didn't connect or liked the characters, not to say that I dislike them to. They are just...meh.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

HOW HAVE I NOT FOUND THESE GLORIOUS BOOKS SOONER?? Seriously, Untouchable Lover was PERFECT! The amazing worlds, the gods, the different types of paranormals was all so stunning and descriptive. I could picture everything so clearly, like I was standing there witnessing it all face to face. I absolutely ADORED King Noeh! He is strong, protective, caring, surprisingly gentle and the way he was with Melissa left my heart clenching and my entire being just lite right up with happiness! I LOOOVE a strong, sexy, caring alpha and we get JUST that with King Noeh. And Melissa she is strong but kind, compassionate but tough, and bold but caring and she just matched Noeh's inner strength to perfection. OMG I want to hold Untouchable Lover close to my heart forever and ever!

Rosalie Redd writes some sizzling, passion filled romance that leaves my heart flying with pure joy. Her characters are brilliant, fun, full of life and the sex is bold and sexy and the romance...SIGH WORTHY FOR SURE. Untouchable Lover is completely fresh and oh so sexy and one of a kind and I can't WAIT to read the next one!

Untouchable Lover gets a SINFULLY SEDUCTIVE FIVE SHOOTING STARS! Its breathtaking and beautiful and the Worlds of Lemuria completely captured me heart and soul..ITS UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING! AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ!

4 stars The fate of Earth is in the balance between two rival alien Deities; who will win?
A shadow war between two alien groups for the fate of Earth includes twists and turns as is the way of war. Political and personal rivalries make defeating the enemy even harder, but love prevails as a shining beacon to heal the rift between those who should be allies and enables a new and hopefully brighter future for both. I appreciate the glossary provided so that readers can look up the Lemurian words if they want. Interesting characters that have strengths and weaknesses on both sides of the battle. Of course I am rooting for the Free-Will side. Who wants to be nothing but a puppet?

Even some of the Slaver side “pieces” to their chess-master have managed to retain one redeeming quality weather loyalty, the will to regain their lost love, etc but they still recruit by force instead of free will. Hmm…Could that be one of the future episodes? Benevolent slavery is one thing as in D/s, but that is not how this side is written in this first book. Their Deity is written as a might makes right, so no, I want them to loose.

This is voluntary feedback of a review copy, thanks.

I wasn't sure if I was really going to like this book when I started it. Once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. This book was so very good and the characters had such depth and courage. There is a war between Gods over Earth's water. Noeh is a king who is in determined to win the war and keep Earth from being enslaved. His kingdom is mainly male warriors. Melissa is a woman who has lost everything. She has gone through so much but she's still got all of her fight. She's not one to give up or give in even after being captured, tortured and enslaved. When Noeh and his warriors rescue her life will be changed radically. This book is so compelling I read until I couldn't see straight. There is action, intrigue, betrayal, along with compassion, strength, understanding and of course love. Ginnia is my favorite character. She is so sweet and innocent, but has more to offer than anyone knows. I highly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This book was very good. This is about the world of Lemuria on a distant planet and the gods that live there. Their planet is in dire straights and need water of the worst kind and have found that a planet named Earth has all it needs. They set out 2 armies, one who wants to enslave the humans and just drain the water and the other who want to set up free trade and not enslave them. The team that wins will not perish. This story is about King Noeh and his goddess who instructs him he has until the next full moon in a month to find a wife and he really doesn't want to at all. Melissa has left her panthera pack looking for a new pack. She gets caught by the enemy and is tortured for her power of a Shield, is found by King Noeh's people and brought to his castle. The war is on and its a brutal one. There is a lot of tension, passion, which Noeh doesn't want and fights it. Lots of plot and keeps me engaged in the book. I really look forward to the second book. Highly recommend.

Stiyaha shapeshifter King Noeh has an annoying habit of striking his ring against the hilt of his sword. I'm sure it was supposed to symbolize something, but I have no clue what. This is just one of the many actions I found annoying in Untouchable Lover. The story kept me both confused and annoyed for yet another passive/aggressive read on my part. There are so many characters and factions, I lost count and a constant back and forth to the present.

The story begins with Melissa, a Dren, and Gaetan, a Stiyaha being tortured by the Gossums who are hideous creatures created to defeat the shapeshifters in a battle for earth's water. They are pawns against one another after a challenge made several thousand years ago between Alora and Zedron. Zedron is bitter because Alora chose Verome as her chosen mate.

If Alora loses the challenge, the earth will become enslaved as Zedron proposes. They each chose the players in the game with Alora choosing the Stiyaha for strength, Panthera for speed, Jixies for resourcefulness, Camelioscapes for stealth, Aves for cunning and Ursus for tenacity...Craya this is a lot to keep up with! Much to her chagrin, Zedron only chooses the Gossum for resilience, speed, and fortitude and the Arachs for cunning and durability. It appears Zedron knows something Alora doesn't know.

After defeating the Gossum and watching them turn into thick black piles of goo, the Stiyaha rescue Melissa and Gaetan and take them back to the keep where they can both heal from their injuries. Noeh is immediately struck by Melissa's beauty, scent, and red hair. Noeh doesn't want a queen because he doesn't believe he could survive to lose her as his father did his mother leaving him to rule. Thus, Noeh spends the majority of his time in a passive/aggressive state fighting his affections for Melissa. Not surprisingly, Melissa falls quickly and wants to stay at the stronghold with Noeh.

Complications arise when Mauree, a stunningly beautiful Stiyaha female, has her heart, mind, and body set on being Noeh's queen. Unbeknownst to Melissa, Noeh and Mauree have horizontal history, and Mauree is not surrendering without a fight. Mauree's worked too long and too hard for the queen's necklace and will stop at nothing to have it around her neck even if it means Noeh's end.

On my Were Scale of Hotness, 3 stars.

Well written story with beautifully developed characters, Untouchable Lover tells the story of Noeh and his mate, Melissa. She has hidden in the shadows ever since she fled from her oppressive pride and the alpha who wanted to make her his concubine; he has hardened his heart and cursed the gods starting the day his parents died. They are caught in the battle between two gods whic h will decide the fate of Earth and Lemiria, this story is full of passion, action, betrayal and romance. Ms. Redd has created a world that is robust and complex and I look forward to more stories that are set in this place with more characters from the planet Lemuria. I received a copy from the author with no obligation to review.

King Noeh is not looking for a mate however, when he rescues a beautiful female from the enemy. A forbidden attraction blooms, one that challenges his beliefs and will forces Noeh to choose between his kingdom and his heart.
Melissa longs for a connection with another but, after the lost of her mate and child. Is terrified of getting hurt a second time. After being rescue from the pits of hell by sexy Noeh. Melissa finds herself wondering if maybe its time she tries opening up her heart and self to feel love again.

Will these two lost souls come together and find love and happiness, or will they let fear and ambition gets in the way..

Noeh rescues Gaetan from Ran along with Melisa a strange female.
Melissa is chained to a wall and tortured by Ran who wants her shield power which he manages to get by taking some of her blood. Hanging opposite to her is a huge warrior with a deformed leg who has also been tortured. His people arrive fighting their way in and rescue both of them. Melissa awakens in a room that looks carved from the stone with a huge strange warrior standing over her who is the leader King Noeh and he agrees to her staying in the keep. Melissa and Noeh have unusual reactions to each other but each has their own reason for holding back.

This book is really good. It has one group that wants to enslave earth and one that wants to stop them. A king with warriors who is told to take a mate. They rescue a woman who has lost her husband and child and has been held by a group and tortured and beaten. There is so much going on in this story that it catches your attention and you can't put it down. I loved it and can't wait to read more books. I highly recommend it. The first book of the series. As I read the book I found it interesting but by the end I was loving it. We slowly learn what and why these paranormal are here on Earth. It almost has a tinge if sci-fi to the whole gods and goddesses from another world. It has plenty of adventure and action. A war is being fought to either allow Earth and humans to be free or slaves to the gods of the world Lemuria. Sounds a little confusing but read it and you’ll catch on fast. The romance definitely builds to a tear jerker ending.

A Very Touchable Book!

Wow! The characters of this book have a wonderful depth along with a realism that astonished. Very different from others.
The world is betting on God Alora's to win Earth from slavery, torture, and losing Earth's water.
The battles that are fought , the traders that are brought out, and a prophesy that foretells a possible futurem

This a pretty good paranormal read. It took me a while to get the lingo dow and guess what I found at the back of the book? Yep, a glossary! We need those things at the front authors! Anyway, earth is in jeopardy of being taken over by really bad aliens if the good ones don’t win the war against them. There’s and epic love story mixed in, a really bad “mean girl”, a sweet girl, a king who has lost his faith and compassion and a beautiful woman who may be able to help him find it.
