Tempted
This storyline pulled me in from the very first page and I couldn't put it down until I was done. I loved Jelcie and Rome's story. There was a magnetic connection between those two that could not be explained. Laylah and Kelton are my least favorite right now. I won't give away the story, but I will definitely be reading part 2.

There were a few issues but nevertheless it didn't take away from the story. As much as I wanted to like Laylah I already knew what she was up to behind her so called best friends back. Kelton sorry ass really should've been coming clean with his wife and man up. I really loved the attraction between Jelcie and Rome and can't wait to find out what more will come about between them. At first I was thinking Jelcie's mom meddled too much but it's clear she hit the nail right on the head. Even though Lark is innocent in the drama that's brewing I could only think of what she asked Jelcie during their time together. Rome needs to let Nikkia's thirsty ass go on about her business and think really hard about settling down. I can't wait for part two because I can only imagine what's going through Jelcie's head from the new information and how she'll handle it.

This book was good it definitely had my attention from the very first page. I love me some Rome and how is going hard trying to get Jelcie. I feel for Jelcie and Layla was wrong for keeping that secret. I'm definitely reading part 2.

Jelcie is a woman who makes her own mine I but her husband seem to have lost his drive. Instead of helping him she just treats him so bad. Her mom has her that of a man does not have money he ain't worth it. The same way she motivated him to start his business should be the same way she is pushing him to get it back straight. She meets Rome who changes her mind. He makes her feel things she has only felt for her husband. Now she is really intrigued by him. She decides she wants to be with him all they but he says she is not ready. Her husband has a secret because he paid money to a school &/now she wants to know why. Will Jelcie be devastated by the news she gets when she goes to the school or will she just laugh it off. So ready to see what is going to happen when she does find out. Secrets always have a way of coming out. So ready for part 2 to see if she finally starts motivating her husband or give I to temptation to Rome. Will she be devastated about a secret that has been kept from her all of these years.

Oh my god this was my first read by Author Mandee but it definitely wont be my last! I loved the flow of this story from the beginning to the end i did not want this story to end. Boy u knew that secret from the beginning cant believe how some people will do you all in all i feel for Jelcie and why does it seems like her mom knows the secret and wont tell her daughter? I definitely recommend this book and im waiting patiently for the next book in this series! Awesome job!!

The chemistry between Rome and Jelcie is everything. Kelton and Layla is wrong for betraying Jelcie in that way, then to have her playing godmother to her husband's child is a low blow. Part two is a must read, eager to see how Jelcie handles finding out about the betrayal of her husband and her best friend.

It was sooo hard to keep going with this one. Jelice came off as a high key gold digger, even with her own her character was written like the typical digger who will fall in love with whoever has the deepest pockets. I didn’t make it all the way through this one because after two weeks of reading on and off and still not catching anything to hold my attention I just gave up.
