He doesn't love me. Our relationship wasn't supposed to have strings. Now he's almost all I think about. He changed everything. I'm not ready to tell him. There's a chance he'll blame me when I do. I don't know if I can trust him but I'm afraid to face the future alone. Will he ever love me, or will he always love me not?
Do you remember your high school or college crush? What would you do to get his attention? For Reilly, growing up her high school crush was Trip. When she was in high school, she would have done anything to be noticed by Trip even make the odd trip to his frat house and steal his boxers. That's a story for later in the book Why Not? They say Funerals can either bring out the best or worst in people and for Reilly and Trip it brings out the horny as they end up doing it in the playground picnic area. The sex is really good, and one thing leads to another, and the pair starts a no-strings relationship. What happens though when one night leads to a discussion of kids and Trip makes it loud and clear that children aren't in his future. This is something I am personally going through at the moment as I want at least one child and the partner is at the stage where he doesn't see himself having children. One night of passion and fury leads to Reilly feeling ill and evidently pregnant. What will happen when she tells Trip, will he leave her and she become a single mother or will he step up to the plate? I did like how we were introduced to Trip's family and that they were out of the box, I loved it as they were so earthy and I fell in love with his parents. Why Not? Doesn't just have the romance factor as it is also filled with suspense and sad moments as Reilly has a stalker and he will go to lengths to make sure he has Reilly all to himself, and no-one, not even her work colleagues will stand in his way to get to Reilly. Will Reilly and the baby be alright when attacked? Find out in Book #3 Why Not? By Carey Heywood. A book that shows readers that with love can come surprises and sometimes what someone might say or do in one situation doesn't matter when you are with the right person or "the ONE" in this case.
The third book in the Love Riddles series, Why Not? is the story of Reilly and Tripp.
Let’s talk about what I liked first. Reilly and Tripp are hot from the get-go. I loved their dynamic. I loved that Reilly isn’t willing to take any of Tripp’s b.s. There’s a moment when he pulls a ‘I’m not that guy’ move and she basically tells him she didn’t ask him to be and if he doesn’t want an honest answer, don’t ask the question.
Their sexual chemistry is off the charts and Carey takes this book to a higher heat level than I remember the other books being. That’s not a problem for me, but fans of Heywood’s who expect the bedroom scenes to be on the ‘peeking through a crack in the door’ end of the spectrum might be surprised when the door’s thrown wide open and a tangle of bodies falls through it.
I loved the progression of their relationship from friends-with-benefits to maybe-we-can-be-something more. The ‘surprise’ isn’t really that much of a surprise (at least to me), but I enjoyed how the author handled Tripp’s reaction to it.
So what didn’t I like? The external conflict felt a little cliche. I anticipated the story going that way and I really hoped I was wrong. It didn’t feel necessary and other than checking the ‘external conflict’ box, I didn’t really feel it added anything to Reilly and Tripp’s relationship or development.
Overall, I enjoyed Why Not? as much as I enjoyed Why Now? and Why Lie? Carey is a talented storyteller who’s a master at building the relationship between two people and drawing out the emotions everyday people face.
Let me start by saying that I did not read the first two books in this series and that it took nothing away from my enjoyment or understanding of this book. This story felt a little unorthodox for me at first. I wasn't a Trip fan initially. I wasn't convinced in their initial interaction that his intentions were good. However, once I got into the story I realized what a sweetheart Trip was. Reilly was a bit of a different heroine too. Which wasn't a bad thing. I enjoyed her character. The story line had a few unexpected surprises. There were lots of emotions which I loved! I will say that reading this book out of series order has led me to want to read the other couples stories as well. Kacey and Jake and Sydney and Heath are definitely couples I would love to read!
A good installment to the Love Riddles family!! I really enjoyed learning more about Reilly who has been a staple from Why Now? and more about Trip who played a big part in Why Lie? This book really brought all the characters of the series full circle. Although this did not overtake Why Lie? as my favorite book in the series there were a lot of GREAT things happening in this book. Reilly remained sassy and sweet as she had been when we were first introduced to us and I loved that she evolved through some of the events that occur. Trip was a joy to learn about in that there was so much more to him than the badass cop that helped save Sydney. I loved all the things that we learn about him. The epilogue was just perfect and in many ways makes me want more!!! Can I get another book, PLEASE Carey!!!

This video review will be released on January 10, 2017 after 9am.
I couldn't wait to read Riley's story, but the start of the book just didn't do it for me. The interaction between Riley and Trip felt rushed and put me off. The book got better as the story progressed and their relationship evolved, but all the second guessing each other annoyed me.
Carey, I don't know how you keep writing all these amazing books! But whatever it is, please keep doing it, because I want to read more! Why not? is an incredible good book! There where so many beautiful moments and some heartbreaking, but like it's said in the book: in the moment it may seem horrible, but in the end, it is meant to be.
3.5 stars -- I received a free copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.
Oh dear. This book did not have a good start for me. Not the prologue, that was cute. But chapter 1 dives right in to the steamy scenes, and it was just too abrupt for me. I felt like I was missing something, and since I haven't yet read the previous two books in the series, I initially wondered if I should have read them first to get the full value. After finishing the book, I don't think that's the case, I think it just wasn't a beginning that worked for me personally. Diving into sex so quickly, I had absolutely NO connection with the characters, and thus I personally did not feel any chemistry in that scene whatsoever. I guess I'm just the kind of girl who likes to see the MCs interact a bit, maybe talk a bit, before getting into things. *shrugs* I like hot sex, but when it happens before we’ve even seen them have much of a conversation, I just can’t get into it. It’s just sex then, nothing more, which is OK for eroticas, but not a romance. So yeah, it just did NOT work for me. I was seriously dismayed and it was hovering at a 2 star or less at this point.
But I kept reading, and it slowly got better. I think I see why Ms. Heywood went with a beginning like that. It was quite intentional that their relationship start as a hookup turned friends-with-benefits turned more kind of thing. In the end it was kind of an intriguing developing relationship to watch, it just might not be for *me*, you know? While I did start to feel their connection more and more as the book went on, there is still a part of me that felt like I wanted more of what drew them together. Because it was insta-lust, and so much of what had them together at the beginning was the amazing sex, I felt like I was later told about what they liked about each other more than seeing it. Part of that had to do with the skips in time. We'd be going along, seeing some development, and then bam it would be a few weeks or months later. This happened a few times, and I felt like we ended up losing out on seeing their relationship develop a bit.
So how did I get to a 3.5 star (rounded down) when it started off so badly for me? Well like I said, the book got better. I found that the bits we did get to see of Trip and Reilly together were quite cute, and I really loved the way Trip eventually was with Reilly. He became very swoonworthy as the book went on. And the secondary characters and the MCs relationship with those secondary characters were absolutely top notch. I'm actually very curious to catch up on the first 2 books now, b/c I loved seeing Jake and Kacey and Sydney and Heath together. And Gavin was just the most swoonworthy boy, his blushes have ruined me for life. And quite frankly I adored Trip's Mom and Sadie and the whole compound they have.
And hoo boy did I cry in this one. I was not expecting the tragedy, and it seriously fucking killed me. I'm so glad no one came to the door while I was reading that part b/c I was exercising at the same time and I probably looked like a read-eyed, snot-nosed, messy haired freak. And I adored the aftermath of the tragedy, and Reilly's healing. Seriously well done. AND DUDES! We got a fantastic huge long pre-epiloguetastic ending. I love seeing HEAs, so I really loved that we got all that.
So the second half of the book was basically 4 star goodness for me, with a couple of little quirks that make it want to dip down, and a few amazing bits that want to make it tip up. So I settled with 3.5 rounded down. This really seems to be a case of it's me, so I can't honestly say how everyone else will feel about it. All I can say is that if you're struggling with the beginning, please do as I did and hold on. I definitely think it was worth it. <3
**Blogger Note: I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.**
This is the second book this year I have read where the main characters have sex within the first 10% of the book. It kind of drives me a little crazy. I want to know more about these characters and why they are fucking like rabbits in the first chapter.
This is the third book of a companion series by Carey Heywood, who I love and adore like crazy! She is truly an amazing lady. But... as this was Reilly's story, I was hoping for a little more. It was kind of let down and it hurts my heart to say this.
I'm reading and reading and was feeling nothing. I felt no connection to Reilly like I did with Sydney. She hooks up with Trip so randomly, I have no idea why or what's going on. Their story is very disconnected. They know each other from high school, but Trip leaves when they graduate then comes back years later, so he really isn't in the two previous books much at all. His backstory is kind of absent. What really would have helped was flashbacks. I wish there were flashbacks to get more of an insight to Reilly and Trip in high school. How they met, how they acted around each other, was there always a secret thing between them? What brought them back together other than just their physical attraction?
I love how it ended and be prepared for some very sad scenes but I just feel like something was missing. I think it is safe to say I enjoyed the previous books in this series just a little bit more.
*I would read these books in order in chance of not spoiling the previous books.*
Carey Heywood never disappoints. It never fails that when I need an easy book to read that she provides it. This series has been one of my favorites. The characters, while well developed, are easy to like. They're not perfect, in fact far from it, but they're real. They have flaws, make mistakes, and then have to beg for forgiveness. That's what makes these stories so wonderful.
To be honest, I kind of forgot that we were getting Trip and Reilly's story. Once I started reading, that didn't matter. I get so engrossed in the storyline and what's going to happen next that, before I know it, I'm reaching the end. Reilly has crushed on Trip since high school. Once he left town, it was easy to let that crush die. She dated, had boyfriends, but nothing too serious. One night brings that crush back full force. I kind of thought I wasn't going to like Trip in the beginning. The way he acted and some things that he said had me on the verge. He righted his wrongs, changed his ways in a sense, and thank goodness for that. We get more of everyone in Why Not. Jake and Kasey, Heath and Sydney, even some other side characters that turned out to be favorites. It was a big family reunion that I couldn't get enough of. Carey Heywood's writing always leaves me wanting more. I want more of this group and what comes in the future for them all.
Why Not? Is the Perfect final instalment to the Love Riddles series.
This is is the story of Reilly (local news reporter) who we meet in Why Now? & Trip who is a Police Officer in town but very much apart of Reilly's crush back in high school.
A lot of years have past and after Reilly sees Trip after all these years does the reality of her biggest ever crush compare? And is 10 long years to long to wait for a kiss with said crush? or will nothing compare.
Chapter 1 sets off this explosive book and sets the pace for Trip & Reilly's story. Theirs is a story of undeniable sexual chemistry/tension, it's a story of a wanting from the past and a possibility for the future?
This was a quick fast paced read, these two will keep you entertained yet at same time you will be invested and hooked at the emotion and passion these characters have.
Like me you will want to know what the future holds for these two. Another great read by Carey Heywood.
If you ever have read a Carey Heywood book, you know that Carey is the master of the slow burn. Why Not? proves she is also the master of super sexy. I will say that Why Not? is my favorite in the Love Riddles series. I know we are not supposed to have favorites but there is something about Reilly and Tripp's story that really resonates. I love the friends with benefits to something more angle and I LOVE being apart of their personal roller coaster. Something about these characters seems so genuine, so real. Now there are a few twists and turns on this journey that I won't tell you about in this review. Just know that this book will make you laugh, make you cry and will make you turn each page wondering what will happen next. Congratulations Carey on another job well done!
I liked this book quite a bit. Reilly has a huge crush on Trip in high school and they reconnect years later. I love the progression of the story and how the characters deal with the road blocks thrown in their direction.
Why Not? was a good story. If I hadn’t previously read Carey’s work I might even say it was great, for me, however, it just didn’t quite stand up to the other books of hers I’ve read. It just didn’t quite have the depth of feeling or resolution of the others.
I did really enjoy Trip and Reilly’s story. It was sweet and emotional. The love they shared was beautiful. Even in the earliest moments of their non-relationship arrangement, you could feel how deep their connection was. Getting to experience the small and wonderful moments that led them to a forever love was a lovely experience.
There was just too much that happened off-page for me. We were given the answers to most of the questions that had arisen throughout the book and the series, we just weren’t taken on the journey to those resolutions. I’m the type of person who is far more interested in the journey than the destination, so I was left wanting in that way. There were certain situations where I almost felt like I had skipped entire sections of the book as I was uncertain how we’d gone from the point in the story we had previously been at.
Overall, Why Not? was a good story. It had all of the elements I need in a good love story and I was very happy with the primary plotline. I just really would have liked a little more time to have been spent on properly exploring and tying up the subplots, as they felt too rushed to be satisfying.
The Love Riddles series was one of the best series I read in 2016 and I can only hope that we will have the chance to revisit that world again in the future. Carey Heywood was a great ability to make me care deeply for all of the characters in her books, regardless of how much they actually appear within the pages and there are several I still want to see more of.
I have read books by Carey Heywood before and really enjoyed them, but Why Not? was the first book I have read in her Love Riddles series. Each book is a standalone story, but they are interconnected. I enjoyed this story a lot, and I look forward to going back and reading the previous two books after reading Why Not?.
Reilly has had a crush on Trip since high school, so when she finally gets a chance with him she takes it. But their relationship is meant to be a fling with no strings. Soon though feelings start to develop and while Reilly wants more, she is scared that Trip can't handle it. Can they turn their fling into something lasting?
I really liked both Reilly and Trip. Reilly was easy to like, strong and I loved that she was sassy and didn't take any crap from Trip. Trip was sweet and sexy and I loved him right away. Their chemistry was off the charts hot, and I loved them together. These two definitely had a ton between them both physically and emotionally, and I really couldn't wait to see how it would all play out.
My main complaint here though was that there were a lot of things that happened that we didn't really get to see. I would have loved to have experienced or seen them, rather than just been told about them after the fact. That kept me from loving this one the way I might have otherwise. Still a good story, but I just wish we had been given some of those as well. I really am looking forward to reading the previous books though, and I think readers will enjoy this sweet, sexy and emotional story.
This was my first Carey Heywood read & I enjoyed it. It was a sweet and easy read. Why Not is the 3rd book in her Love Riddles series, and while it is a stand alone, I got the feeling that reading the previous 2 books would have been beneficial, so one clicking those ASAP.
Y'all. Their chemistry was WHOA- OFF THE CHARTS! I loved the way they came to be. From her having a (former) crush to friends with bennies to more! I will say, I wish we got to read a bit more about her crush. I loved how fiercely he loved her, even when he didn't know it & I loved her inner strength, even if she didn't know she had it! Why Not has its share or surprises. One I saw coming & one... not so much.
I think my only complaint is the amount of things happening 'between the pages'. Time progresses very quickly in this book- with most of it happening off the page. It left me feeling like I missed something!
Overall, I really enjoyed Why Not and would 100% recommend this book y'all. So, get to one clicking! <3
This was such an amazing and emotional story. It was the kind of story that I both loved and hated, loved because it was such a wonderful story and hated because of the very WTF moment. The story started with a hilarious prologue and then it turned to the emotional part came. I loved Trip and Reilly together, they had such great chemistry and they complimented each other so well. This was also a story that brought forward a great line of supporting characters both from the past books in the series but also new ones. I really loved this story.
Reilly and trip's story.... it is every high school teenage girl's dream. To have your first crush notice you. Then for them to fall in love with you. For those of us who missed out on their first time loves, Carey has made it where we could live through them.
Yea you're going to laugh, cry, think wtf and get mad but it's how Carey writes. She will catch your attention and not let it go.
I cried I laughed I got mad in the end it was so beautiful. Don't want to write any spoilers however I loved the fact that she survived and kept both Gavin and joshuas memory alive.
Så er min anmeldelse af bogen her også til at finde på bloggen! Bare følg linket her, så finder i den fulde udgave. 🤩👉🏼 https://benedictesbogblog.blogspot.co...
I’m a big fan of the Love Riddle’s Series by Carey Heywood and have been wanting Reilly’s story since we met her in book one. I wanted her to get her HEA and I was so happy to get my hands on Why Not? and see how her story played out!
Reilly has been a staple in this series, and has played a big role in the previous books in this series, so if you’ve read Why Now? and Why Lie? then you know who she is. She’s the feisty best friend, home-town reporter, and the girl you definitely want to be friends with. In Why Not? we get to see that she’s always had a crush on Trip and when she finally gets her chance with him, she has to ask herself, is what he’s willing to offer enough, or not enough at all? Trip has moved back to down, and is attracted to Reilly, more than any woman before. There’s something different about her, the chemistry between them is off the charts, and every time things seem to be moving in a good direction with these two, Trip seems to put his foot in his mouth and Reilly tries to push him away. These two definitely have some communication problems in the beginning of the book and it drove me absolutely crazy!
As the story progresses, these two are put to the test, and it’s hilarious watching the roles being reversed on where they stand in the relationship. I think it was good for them though. Trip and Reilly really needed to be put into the positions they were put in to know what they wanted. I loved watching their relationship develop and their feelings mature for one another, and it not just be a physical attraction for both of them. When things go south though, my heart broke. This wasn’t something that I was expecting and I yelled NO when it happened out loud. I literally had tears in my eyes, and was cursing Carey Heywood for what she did to us in this book. I won’t say she made up for it, because there is no coming back from what happened in this book, but it did bring Trip and Reilly even closer together in the end, even if it took a while for them to get there.
Reilly and Trip’s story is a bit unconventional at times, but it is a beautiful love story. I loved Trip’s mother and how much she helped Reilly in this book and how protective she was of Trip. Seeing the characters in the previous books and catching up on what was going on in their lives was also a plus. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the characters in this series, and I can only hope one day we will get to see more of them. I highly recommend this series, and Why Not? These books will definitely pull at your heartstrings, but the characters and the stories are definitely worth some of the heartbreak you will endure!
This book is the 3rd book in the Love Riddles series. It can be read as a standalone but I feel as though the first two books will enhance your enjoyment of this story.
This is by far my favorite installment. We met Trip in Why Lie? He is a police officer. Reilly is Kacey's best friend and Jake's sister. (See...you need to read the first two books to know everyone better)...IMO
Reilly and Trip - a casual thing...they both agreed!
Their story began in high school, Reilly has a HUGE crush on Trip but he's big man on campus and doesn't even know who she is. But years later, their paths cross again and this time - it' HOT from the get go. As they begin to get to know each other their feeling and thoughts change. Their ideas of what they really want in life change.
Watching this couple - along with their friends completed the story for me that began in Why Now? Trip proves himself to be a stand-up guy as Reilly shows her softer side. She always seemed to be fighting the inevitable but Trip proves he can be who he needs to be and what Reilly needs.
There was a little more HEAT in this book than in the previous books (not complaining). An enjoyable contemporary romance.
This was my first book from this author and SOOOOOO need to start onto any of her other books!
We all remember our high school crush. You the so called nerd, him the popular athlete who doesn't even know you exist. No, just me. Well I was that girl. I so related to Reilly.
Brendan "Trip" Lowell- Is Reilly's dream crush. So what does any girl who is crushing on her guy do? She crashes his house party. What she wasn't prepared for was to have her heart crushed on seeing him with someone else. It was very important to Reilly that she and Trip fall madly in love. Even her best friend, Kasey knows the plan.
Years later, Trip has returned back home, he is now a detective and has taken a job at the local police department. Trip runs into Reilly after the funeral of a family friend. They start up a casual, no strings attached relationship. But when Reilly doesn't push for more like most woman, Trip finds himself no liking this one bit.
Does Reilly get her childhood dream come true? Or is there a threat that will try to keep them apart?
I am a "No Spoiler Reviewer", so I am not saying anything else but GO READ THIS BOOK! This is book 3, but can be read as a stand alone. Now I am off to get started on her other books!
Sometimes you think you know where you’re going and what you’re going to do but sometimes life throws you a curve ball and makes you realize you were looking for something entirely different. so you have to ask yourself should i go down this road...why or why not?
Reilly had a massive crush on trip in high school he was all she wanted, but one moment changed that. and since that moment with other broken relationships, Reilly has built a wall around her heart. always wanting to protect herself from being hurt. trust is something that has to be earned, not something that is given out freely. but with everyone around her finding love and happiness, Reilly starts to wonder if she's always going to be alone. when a moment of grief takes control, Reilly finds herself in the arms of the man she thought she was over but has secretly always wanted, trip. things are supposed to be easy between them, no complications of a relationship just the benefits. but something changes or rather someone changes Reilly’s outlook. with her walls slowly coming down, she wonders if she has finally found her happiness.
coming back to Ferncliff has always been on trip's mind. he just didn't know what would happen when he did. or rather who he would end up seeing again. he thought he was going to come back and make a life for himself but little did he know how his cards would drastically change. a relationship wasn't something he was looking for, but now its all he can think about. Reilly hit him like a storm and now he'll do anything he can to win her over. from simple little gestures to some other the most swoon worthy moments I’ve read. trip is a keeper.
the chemistry between these two is insane. it is hot, passionate, emotional, will keep you on the edge of your seat. prepare yourself for a wild ride with these two.
you also get a glimpse of the other characters you know from earlier and let me tell you, i was beyond happy with the way Carey brought everything together.
this book is probably my favorite out of the series! it's a must read! I wish I could give it more than five stars because it seriously deserves it.
This is book 3 in the Love Riddles “Why Not” book. This is Trip and Reilly’s story. Reilly has been in love with Trip since the 10th grade but gave up because she figured he didn’t see her the way she saw him. Fast forward to Trip coming back to town for the funeral for his friend Heath’s mom. Reilly sees him again and the feelings are still there but that is all they are at this point. She leaves the reception because the death has really hit her hard. Heath’s mom stepped in when her parents died and she always had a special bond with her. Trip knew she was upset and followed her. She ended up at the park. They talked and well they really talked! They now are friends with benefits so to say because she wants him real bad and wants more than friends with benefits but he is not a relationship type guy. They have a chemistry like no tomorrow and he does not deny that but all he wants is “friends” They continue their status for a while until something happens that scares Reilly and knocks her off her axis. She confides in her best friend who helps her. She cancels plans with Trip but that is not good enough for him. He goes to her anyway. He discovers what sent her into a tizzy and makes a major decision. His response surprises me. I thought it would have been a little more work involved. They continue to grow and discover each other and Reilly is scared because everyone she has loved has either left her or almost left her by death. She fights the attraction/chemistry because she cannot go through that anymore. Trip realizes it but since he is not a relationship type guy since being scammed by his last relationship is also trying to fight his growing feelings. Reilly feels that he is doing everything he is doing because of the baby. She wants to be “loved” because he loves her not because of the baby or out of a sense of obligation. She feels that is what it is. A surprise tragedy takes place which throws things into perspective for Trip but throws Reilly into a spiral. Will their love be enough? Will Trip be able to get through to her? You will not be disappointed in this read. Another great job by the author.
This is the third book in the Love Riddles series but it’s the first book I’ve read. It is beautifully written and I enjoyed reading it.
Reilly has had a crush on Trip since high school. It doesn’t seem he even knew she existed. The prologue was so sweet and funny. Reilly’s poor little teenage heart is broken when she and her best friend Kacey crash Trip’s party and she finds him kissing some cheerleader. I think what she does afterwards is hilarious!
Anyway, fast forward years later, she’s a reporter and he’s a cop. They run into each other at a funeral and then afterwards there’s some heavy duty action that takes place. It was a bit shocking honestly, in a good way, but still it just came out of nowhere and really fast, unless of course, something happened in one of the previous books that I haven’t read. It’s my understanding, though, that these stories are standalones. I don’t really know what to make of it because I didn’t really get the impression they knew each other.
So for the first three-quarters of the story, there really isn’t much action or angst. It’s just Trip and Reilly getting to know each other and exploring their feelings, which is fine by me. I love how committed Trip is to her and how as time passes they fall more for each other.
At around 75% of the book the story takes a dramatic unexpected turn and my emotions went haywire. I love that!, a twist I never saw coming. My heart was shattered and then put back together at the end. I was completely not expecting what happened. I was bawling!! The ending was so bitter sweet and fantastic all at the same time. It’s a ride definitely worth getting on.
It's no secret Carey is one of my go-to romance authors. I LOVE her style of writing, and this book just reaffirms my affections.
Why Not? is the third and final book in the Love Riddles Series, which makes me desperately sad. I've grown very attached to the little town of Ferncliff and all of its inhabitants.
Reilly has been one of my favorite characters ever since book 1, Why Now? She's smart, head strong and spunky. As a reporter for a local TV station, she has to have a certain amount of poise and confidence. But you just know underneath the take-no-prisoners, independent woman of the 21st century, is a girl who wants what we all want: love.
Trip is a local boy, turned man, turned Police Officer. After living outside of Ferncliff for a few years, he's returned home. He wanted to get settled into his new place, he is new department and not much else. Running into Reilly was a bonus.
Oh these two!! I love them together, but they are both so stubborn I wanted to smack them both upside the head! Their chemistry is off the charts and they are so perfect for each other. They just need to get out of their own way to realize it.
This book has a little bit of everything: romance, hot sex, angst, suspense. It's my favorite kind of read, and the perfect way to wrap up this series. I will miss the characters in these books. They feel like family. But I'm definitely ready to see what Carey brings us next!
