He definitely wasn't supposed to get that email...

Subject: My Boss.

Have I already told you that I hate my boss today?

Sexy as hell or not, this pompous, arrogant, ASSHOLE asked me to pick up his dry cleaning the second I walked through the door. Then he told me that I needed to take his Jaguar to a car wash that was ten miles outside of the city, but only after I needed to stand in a never-ending line to buy some type of limited, hundred-dollar watch.

I honestly can't wait to see the look on his face two months from now when I tell him that I'm quitting his company and that he can kiss my ass. KISS. MY. ASS.

All those former fantasies about him kissing me with his "mouth of perfection" or bending me over my desk and filling me with his cock are long over. OVER.

Your bestie,
Mya

PS--Please tell me your day is going better than mine...

Subject: Re: My Boss.

No, you haven't already told me that you hate your boss today, but seeing as though you've sent me this email directly, I know now...

Yes, I did ask you to pick up my dry cleaning the second you arrived to work to day. (Where is it?) And I did tell you to take my Jaguar to the car wash and pick up my thousand-dollar watch. (Thank you for taking five hours to do something that could be accomplished in two.)

You don't have to wait two months from now to see the look on my face when you tell me you're quitting. I'm standing outside your office at this very moment. ( Open the door. )

No comment on your "fantasies," although I highly doubt they're "long over."

Your boss,
Michael

PS--Yes. My day is definitely going far better than yours...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Naughty Boss (stand-alone). Sexual tension overload as boss & his assistance go head-to-head over naughty email!

“For the record, per your email with the subject heading, ‘I WONDER IF HE EATS PUSSY’...”
He looked me up and down. “I do eat pussy”

Books in the Steamy Coffee Collection are stand-alones:
Book 1: Naughty Boss
Book 2: Dirty Doctor
Book 3: Cocky Client

Naughty Boss (stand-alone) centers around an overworked, underappreciated (though overpaid) and sexually frustrated executive assistant, Mya London complaining about her boss and accidently sending email to the object of her frustration, her boss, playboy and publishing mogul Michael Leighton.

The story goes on to follow them in the aftermath; Razor-sharp bantering, sexually charged situations, spiteful and petty revenge, disconcerted emotions, and one hilarious situation after another.

It is a stand-alone novella featuring a full romance. How can so much punch be packed into 127 pages you ask? Well, it is signature Whitney G. I smell a best-seller!

Sexual tension overload! Contemptuous sex! Effortless story-telling! Entertaining plot! Utter perfection!

“I was only supposed to use the “CEO credit card” for Mr. Leighton’s coffee and meals, but since he’d been increasingly mean to me over the past few months, I’d been using it on whatever came to mind.”

Eh, this was just OK for me. The heroine was a brat. The hero was an asshole manwhore (I mean SERIOUSLY he fucks a different woman EVERY day of the week?) He is supposed to be a CEO for christ sake. What CEO has time to fuck a different woman EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK and STILL run a company!? *lol* Plus the ending was VERY abrupt and unsatisfactory.

PS. I'd LOVE to know exactly how many families are out skating at Rockefeller Center at 3 am? Ok, I just checked and rink actually closes at midnight...SO???

YaYa, but little details like that get stuck in my head!!

➦So this, hands down, has been the best naughty novella I've ever read. Now, granted I don't read them often. I'm way greedy with that character development :D

➦What I enjoyed most was that this story had me itching with anticipation. These two main characters don't jump into bed right away. There are email exchanges and interactions between them before they finally collide. And when I say collide I MEAN it! It's like BAM! that was hawt.

➦Oh, I'm sorry, where was I? Oh yes. So this boss is a douchebag of the year and definitely deserves the award. Actually, I'll give him two. Whitney G. writes the best assholes. #truestroy

➦Michael Leighton, our naughty boss hero, writes the shortest and the rudest e-mails. I can't help it, they make me laugh. This is my favorite one of them from the book:
Subject: What I need Today.
Coffee. Stephen King's new book. Reports for the two o'clock meeting. Your signature on the employment extension contract.
You're welcome.
Michael Leighton
CEO, Leighton Pulbishing

➦And I'll leave you with that because there's nothing else I can say. It was short and hot. It made me want more of it and I kept wishing it could be a fully developed novel instead. But that's neither here or there. It is what it is. :)

Naughty Boss is the most fun I’ve had reading in a while. It only took about an hour of my day to read it from cover to cover, but I had a great time doing it. Not only is it highly entertaining, it’s a funny and hot read. I love the enemies to lovers troupe. And Whitney G does a marvelous job writing it. She can especially write the best asshole heroes around. Michael Leighton was one for sure. That ‘You’re Welcome’. I can’t even!

Mya is an executive assistant. She loves her job. She’s great at her job. But she can’t stand her boss. She makes sure to tell her bestie all about him every day in her emails. This just made me love the book that much more. My bestie and I text like these two email. ALL DAY LONG. Anyway, back to the story... One day, Mya has had enough and emails her bestie Amy about how much she hates her boss today. There may also be a few inappropriate sexy things mentioned she’d like to do to said boss. And guess who accidentally gets that email? Not her bestie, Amy.. nope. HER BOSS. Yes. Talk about most mortifying moment ever.

When Michael gets the email from Mya, he’s a bit shocked, but he’s also completely enamored. I love his reaction to the email she sends and the fact that he goes through all the old ones she’s sent. I loved these two together. Their banter is fantastic. I felt the chemistry between them.

A lot of times, novellas leave you feeling like something was lacking. Although I would have loved to have more of this couple, I never felt that way about the actual story. It was well developed and a lot of fun to read! If you’re looking for something quick that will make you smile and is hella hot, give this one a go!

This author never fails to make me smile. I know when I sit down with one of her books, I'm going to be laughing like a loon in no time. She is the queen of writing the perfect asshole boss scenarios and this novella certainly lived up to my expectations in that regard.

Mya London is an executive assistant, working for, Michael Leighton, the CEO of a publishing company. Mya loathes her boss almost as much as she secretly lusts after him. If it weren't for the outrageous pay and benefits that she receives, as the only executive assistant that has been able to tolerate Michael for any length of time, she'd be long gone.

Michael is arrogant, condescending, high-handed and outright rude. He seems to go out of his way to dream up new, menial tasks that Mya must complete with unrealistic deadlines. It has kind of become a game between the two. He seems determined to find something that she finally won't be able to accomplish. She is equally determined to make sure that doesn't happen, just to spite him.

Mya and Michael definitely have a love/hate relationship in the office. There is plenty of sexual frustration manifested through their verbal sparring and hilarious office interactions. I could not wait for these two to finally act on their desires. I knew it would be smoking hot.

Everything finally comes to a head when Mya mistakenly sends an e-mail to Michael that was intended for her best friend. You see, Mya was in the habit of venting her frustrations about her sexy asshole boss to her bestie via company e-mail. (Dumb, right?) Honestly, I probably would have read this novella for the e-mails alone. They were hilarious!

Nonetheless, when Michael receives one of these e-mails, the cat is out of the bag. All of Mya's frustrations and sexual fantasies are out in the open. That gives Michael the green light to act on his attraction to his feisty assistant as well, now that he knows the attraction isn't one-sided.

To say the least, it was hot! Who knew that an author could build so much anticipation in so few pages? I was dying by the time that these two finally got down and dirty.

That being said, the only drawback for me is that is was a short novella. After they finally got together, I wanted more. Instead, the story wrapped up quickly. I loved it, but wanted more. I wanted to bask in the bliss for a while longer.

If you're looking for a quick and fun read with lots of hilarious banter, then this is a fantastic choice. At just over a hundred pages, it can easily be read in one sitting. It is also a Kindle freebie, so it won't cost you a thing to give it a try.

I enjoyed this novella from start to finish. Is it predictable? Yes. Have I read a thousand others with a similar office romance theme? Of course. Did that take away from my enjoyment? Absolutely not. I loved it!

Me, before reading Naughty Boss

Review

Undoubtedly, it's me and not the book. It's somewhat late in life but I'm thinking I don't like assholey men as much. This must be the reason I failed to connect with Jake Weston (From Turbulence) and also, Michael Leighton, the "Naughty Boss".

Likewise, WG writes the best emotionally angsty female leads for whom, sadly, I can't quite bring myself to care. Combine the two, and it's decidedly underwhelming.

Seeing this is a novella, I didn't expect rainbows and stars and was pleasantly surprised the story appeared almost fully fleshed although I noticed one or two typos, but no biggie.

So the biggest problem I had was Mya London, our h, who was as generic as unbranded granola. Fuckit, I can't abide women who whine about their male bosses particularly when said boss does nothing to engender such disdain. Truth be told, I've worked with two female bosses who behaved much worse than Michael. One was eventually fired and the other moved to a position which required reduced interface with subordinates. Imagine Michael as the male version of Miranda Priestly and bingo, the picture changes.

Mya IMO whined a lot. I didn't like it. It's such a female thing to do. If your job requires you stay an extra hour or 4, then you do it and never have I heard anyone complain to his or her boss about such hours. Guess what Mya did? She told her boss, to his face, that since she stayed 3 hrs past "official closing time", she'd be 3 hours late the following morning. Buahahahah...yeah, good luck with that. I wanted to smack her.

I think the story could have done without the assholey-ness and the repeated emails from Mya to Amy (her bestie) and it still would have worked because Whitney created such chemistry between those two that could have incinerated Trump Towers. Obviously, I'm missing something. Right?

I don't have a problem (much) with having sex in an office, but Michael and Mya's sex-in-the-office-scene was ridiculous and unnecessary; moreover, it was so unexpected I had to double back to confirm if these weren't the same people who'd never even shared a kiss. To go from not ever kissing to full on coitus gave me an attack of le giggles....sigh, so unnecessary.

Certainly, there are several positives. Michael evolving to a more considerate person being one and Mya's work ethic, another. Their relationship- or what there was of it- was also quite endearing.

Overall, for a novella with less than 130 pages it was entertaining, which is more than I got from Turbulence. I remain a fan-for-life of WGW and hold her earlier books (Mid-Life Love and Reasonable Doubt series) as some of my all-time favorites.

Mr. Naughty Boss is naughty alright...

Whitney comes back with a short novella that is steamy and absolutely HOT in every aspect!
This is a short story that will most likely make you question about some of the actions being done by the H but at the end of the day he changes because of the h. Though sex is the answer to solve their "itches," sex is also the answer for them to separate and for the h to find her true identity and inner-self.

I loved this story a lot, but I was expecting something more... **sighs**

Fans of Whitney G. are going to absolutely enjoy this super sexy novella. I found it to be reminiscent of the Reasonable Doubt series and Beautiful Bastard. Our Hero, Michael Leighton, is the super sexy CEO of Leighton publishing and New York City’s most eligible bachelor whose crazy sex life always winds up as the top “Page Six” headliner. Michael has been ordered by his business partner to keep it in his pants for at least a year and stay out of the Page Six headlines while they try to go public with their corporation. In the meantime, he asks his friend to help hire a new personal assistant for him as he’s gone through at least eight in the past six months.

Mya London thinks she has landed her dream job working for the super notorious bad boy, Michael Leighton. The job turns out being not what it was all cracked up to be. A year later she is calling her boss every curse word imaginable. He is her worst nightmare who seems to get pleasure out of making her do the most menial tasks and forcing her to work late almost every evening. Mya sends her bestie constant email updates on all of her horrible boss’s evil doings but after one particularly horrendous day at work she sends a scathing and scandalous email regarding her sexual fantasies about him to her friend, or so she thought. The email to Mya’s utter dismay actually ended up getting sent to Michael instead. And now the story gets seriously naughty and oh so entertaining.

It becomes a battle of wills when both Mya and Michael confess to their secret sexual fantasies and it’s only a matter of time before boardroom talk turns into pillow talk. Will the two be able to get over their petty office bickering and is it pure lust or something deeper that is developing between Mya and Michael?

This novella is a pretty fast read and I can’t say that I wasn’t thoroughly entertained. I enjoyed it so much and I got a bit greedy because I wanted more of Michael and Mya. That’s the only reason I didn’t give this a solid five stars!

NAUGHTY BOSS is currently available. Be sure to one-click on this fab novella! You will not be disappointed.

I love Whitney G. I just love her so much. She gave us the great Andrew Hamilton (I think I will never be over this man..) and now she surprises her readers with a brand new novella that involves a very naughty CEO! I definitely enjoyed it, and him too ;)

Naughty Boss is a standalone short story that introduces Michael Leighton and Mya London. Michael is a huge playboy and a huuuuuuge asshole. Yep. You know Whitney, she writes the best assholes lol He owns a publishing company and Mya is his new executive assistant. Mya hates his guts but is extremely attracted to him. Michael has been tempted by her since the first day and that is why he behaves the way he does.

Subject: My Boss.
Have I already told you that I hate my boss today?

I really enjoyed this novella! If you’ve been following me for some time, you know I love Whitney’s writing, her heroes and her very-famous dirty talking skills lol This was no exception. Naughty Boss is hilarious and so good. As always, we get a hot jerk and a sassy heroine, which I love! And another great aspect is that it all happens in a publishing environment. Hell yes, I am a book nerd. I loved that Whitney talked about books, bloggers and what involves working in this business.

“Whick romance novel would you like to recommend?”
“Castrating Her Boss.”

PS-Is it sad that, ass-holeness aside, he still makes my panties wet more than once a week?

Also, as expected with this author, the sexy times were off-the-charts hot. Of course! I know this is a novella so there weren’t many sex scenes but the sexual tension? OH GOD. Palpable. Those emails? So funny and sexy! Dirty talker hero? Check too! Whitney G. always delivers on that department and you know it ;)

“If I sent an email to you—accidentally that is, and it said that I’ve wanted you to sit your pussy on my face since you started working here...Or that I’ve wanted to bend your ass over my own desk and fuck you until you begged me to stop every time you wore a particular shade of dress, don’t you think I would need to be reprimanded somehow?”

So why 4 stars? Well, I have to say I kind of missed having more emotions involved between these two. As I said, the sex is amazing but I missed having more connection with the relationship between the MCs. I get it, it’s a short story, it’s not a full-length novel but between the sexy times, I saw some sweet moments between Michael and Mya and I loved them! And the ending, so cute, but again, a bit rushed for me. I wish we had more of these two because they were great together!

Subject: What I Need Today
You in my office for a meeting at ten.

Therefore, my rating for Naughty Boss is 4 STARS because, as always, Whitney G delivered another fantastic, hilarious and sexy love story! I read this in one sitting so I definitely recommend it! It’s a fabulous short story to read between reads. I can’t wait to see what’s next because I love this woman’s books so much! Be sure to check her out if you haven’t!

For the record, per your email with the subject heading, ‘I Wonder If He Eats Pussy’...” He looked me up and down. “I do eat pussy, and if I ever was going to eat your pussy...If that thought had ever been filthy enough to cross my mind and certain circumstances between us were different, you wouldn’t be able to walk for days after I was done with you...”

It's official. I'm naming my left ovary Michael. He totally owns it so it's only right. Whitney G already owns my right one, so I figure it's fitting.

This was a fun sized bite of Whitney's usual brand of snarky and steamy enemies to lovers trope. It's a read in on sitting type of story and the perfect way to pay a cold weekday night with. Don't expect much character development here because that's not what it is. It's a super fun and super steamy hot, manwhore, millionaire boss falls for his sassy assistant story. Michael is an uber successful CEO of a publishing house. The only thing he goes through quicker than his one night stands are his executive assistants, because while he may be ridiculously sexy and rich, he also happens to be a bear to work for. In other words, the man is an a-hole.

Mya has lasted longer working for the man than any other assistant he's ever had, but it hasn't been an easy road. The man is demanding, rude, and much to her dismay still gets her engine revving. One email ending up in the wrong inbox finally leads to a break in the super thick sexual tension they got going between them and BAM! Fireworks.

I love Whitney's books because she always delivers on one of my favorite tropes; enemies to lovers. She brings the snark, the humor, the sass, and the steam all in one extremely fun read. There's nothing I love more than an alphahole...except maybe a reformed manwhore alphahole. So of course I loved Michael. Mya was sassy and smart and gave as good as she got. I loved these two together.

My one complaint is that super abrupt and I mean ABRUBT ending. It came out of nowhere. I kept scrolling hoping for more, but alas that was all she wrote...pun intended. I get that I'm reading a novella, but I think an epilogue would have been a good way to wrap it up for me.

That aside, I still enjoyed this book quite a bit and can't wait for more from Whit!

Not bad for an office romance novella. This was quite a fun, hilarious read. The entertainment factor was there. However, it didn't offer anything new. Just the same old hot af womanizer boss who lusted over his attractive employee... etc. etc.

Michael Leighton is Leighton Publishing's playboy CEO. He is one of tabloids' most favorite subjects because of his appetite with different women each week. Despite his success in the corporate world, he seemed to encounter a lot of problems when it comes to his previous executive assistants. This led him to post a job hiring for interested applicants, offering a much higher compensation. When Mya London applied for it and was immediately employed, she didn't expect to develop a love-hate relationship with Michael because he is simply such an arrogant and domineering boss and they always go against each other.

There was overwhelming chemistry in this novella. Both characters were hot and sexy. And there were certainly steamy office scenes that could make everyone blush. This was sure to be a guilty-pleasure read and if you are a type of person who doesn't mind a story with a stereotypical storyline -- just pure entertainment laid on to take away your stress, then go go go read this quick-read story. :)

I know, I know this is not my usual type of book at all but I really enjoyed it. It was by no means perfect, there were errors and things overlooked but with a book like this I didn't mind. This was definitely a case of "right book, right time".

I loved the email concept it made the book a little more realistic and gave me a good laugh. I love a good laugh and this book gave me that, mixed with the sexual chemistry that these two shared it equaled a very enjoyable read for me.

If your looking for a quick, funny office romance that is full of sexual tension give this a go.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen…

Michael Leighton is Mya London’s boss. And he is naughty. At least this is what all the tabloids used to write a year ago. There used to be pictures all over the magazines with him and a different woman every day, sometimes with 2-3 different women every day. One of the hottest celebrities and the favorite boy of the gossip magazines.

But Mya has not really "met" this truly naughty guy. Since she has started working at his publishing company, Michael was not viewed with a woman. And he is an uptight, pompous bastard.
No more parties for him.

Mya does not have fun. She is working long hours. She has not heard the words “Thank you” ever by him. She wants to find another job and quit.

Of course it is not easy to quit Leighton publishing – especially when the boss does not want you to leave.

Mya loves emailing her best friend. She emails her about everything. Mostly about
-how annoying her boss is,
-how much she wants him and
-how many dirty thoughts she has about him (in every detail!)

The problem is that she is using the company account for these emails. And then Mya realizes that:
YOU CAN’T ERASE EMAILS. EMAILS ARE FOREVER.
Especially when accidently sends one of these emails to Michael and he finds out that hundreds (maybe thousands) of this kind of emails already exist in his company’s server.

Oops!

I decided to read this book, because I have just finished the “Reasonable Doubt” series and I am already having withdrawal symptoms.
Unfortunately Michael Leighton is not Andrew Hamilton...
However, he could certainly be his naughty, twin brother.

I really enjoyed the book!

I liked this book. It was simple, easy and a fast read. The characters weren't all that bad either. Michael Leighton was sexy as fuck. Loved him. Mya London did get burned a few times, but other than that she was awesome. I loved that she didn't back down. Oh, and that quick and strange ending was a bit too... abrupt and it didn't really make sense. Considering my high excitement I had before reading this book, I must say I am a bit disappointed, but don't get me wrong: it is still good and if more books comes out about Michael I'll be more than happy to read them. In fact, I hope we get more...

OMG LOL Trust Whitney to come up with another “want to hate you but can't help but love you” sexy hero!

More than anything Michael Leighton is known for his philandering ways, but the “Naughty CEO” moniker also alludes to the fact that he’s the successful owner of Leighton Publishing in NY. He’s also known to be a difficult superior who despises incompetence and is unable to keep an assistant for long. Wanting his company to go public though, he knows he needs to stay away from tabloid gossip and find someone who’ll actually help him. But when his advisor hires the smart and sexy Mya, can he keep his hands to himself for a YEAR and not take his frustrating attraction out on her?
“It was quite apparent that she "hated" me and I almost regretted taking out my sexual frustration on her by demanding so much. Almost.”

Mya London thought working as Michael Leighton’s executive assistant would be fabulous. What could possibly be the down side to having a great paying job, with phenomenal perks which include having to look at one of the sexiest men alive on a daily basis? Other than the fact that he’s controlling, egotistical j@ck@ss fixated on punctuality, works her to the bone and constantly aggravates her as much as he turns her on? All facts she shares with her best friend regularly via email.
“Her mind was damn near as naughty as mine when it came to sex, and it was slightly gratifying to know that the attraction wasn't one sided.”

But when she accidentally sends him one of her emails venting about his over the top errands which supposedly kill all her fantasies about him which she explicitly describes directly to the man himself she finds herself having to not only face him but the explosive chemistry that’s been building for the past year.

I jumped right in to this book without knowing what it was about other than the fact that it was written by Whitney G. and I just couldn't put it down until I was finished, especially since it was fast paced, fun and sexy. Of course I read the blurb afterwards and if you loved it, you’ll love the entire story.

Sure it was quick to read and I would have loved more of the office naughtiness between the Michael and Mya and get to know them better, like why was Michael so obsessed with punctuality? But this short unputdownable story packs a punch and had me smiling wide cover to cover. We get to see how thoughtful and caring Michael actually is and how Mya is smart and quick witted. They’re perfect for one another.
“What makes you think I’ll be done with you in an hour?”
“Nothing, but my boss is highly obsessed with me being on time for work, and it’s already five o’clock in the morning. If I’m more than a minute late, he’ll send me an email and act like it’s the end of the world.”

I really do hope we get more about these two appealing characters and about Amy, Mya’s best friend and receiver of the daily “@ss-h*lery reports”, too. I was so absorbed with them I didn’t stop to highlight anything! Even though you can get a feel of it with the blurb, I did go back to share a few quotes.

Naughty Boss is a standalone novella by Whitney Gracias Williams. It’s a contemporary romance with fun and witty banter and steaming hot sexy times. Told from both points of view. And for those of you keeping closer track, no OW after he meets Mya.

It's no secret I don't read much MF anymore. But.....

THAT. BLURB.

THAT. COVER.

They just called to me.

I loved the hell out of the first 40% of this book. The "enemies" portion of the book. Seriously some laugh out loud stuff.

And then we transitioned in to the "lovers" part of the book and IDK, it was all a bit rushed. Especially because the book ends at 68%! The flow was a bit off.

Still...overall this was a super fun, sexy, enjoyable, quick read.

I was really excited to start Naughty Boss and was looking forward to a steamy short book. While I did enjoy a lot of the story, most of my overall feeling is just one of disinterest. I think my main problem was that I had way different expectations for this book than what it turned out to be.

Michael was only an okay character for me and I never had that moment where I was wowed by him. He was a manwhore boss who, for me, never became more than that. I felt like he didn't have a redeeming moment where I was okay with his jerk behavior so for the whole book I mostly just hated him.

He and Mya didn't have a real evident connection for me so there relationship wasn't all that believable. Their relationship moved pretty fast and skipped from boss/employee to more rather fast and it ruined the story for me in a way. Overall, this story wasn't all bad and as a whole I did enjoy the reading experience. I wish I would have liked the characters a little more but they didn't completely ruin the book for me.

This book was full as sass, it was full of major assholism, and it tipped the scale of hotness. I didn't love it, but I liked it.

I envy Mya for putting up with Michael as long as she did. She deserves a medal for it, once she breaks his shell, I liked him. I really did. And omg the emails, they made this fricken book better for me.

I really would like to see where they end up though. I feel like their story together was just starting. Please Whitney G, gives us more Michael & Mya❤❤

It was the perfect Mix, and Whitney writes such Smokin hot SEX scenes"
and because I loved the tease, the sexual Buildup between Michael and Mya and the final Gratification... Oh! and When the first DIRTY words left Michael's lips, shit, I was a goner, love me a dirty talking Man! ;)

Have you read the blurb for this book? If you did you know this book is going to be amazing before you ever even start. Mya is emailing her bestie all kinds of horrible and embarrassing things about her boss when she accidentally sends it to him. We have all been there, well at least I have, not the sexy things, but definitely the badmouthing and sending it part. It’s a horrible feeling when you realize you did this, but to make matters worse Michael responds with his own email, see blurb.

Whitney G. knows how to write a sexy, arrogant, jerk and Michael Leighton is exactly that. I love books like this where the banter makes me laugh out loud and you are so excited to see how things will progress as the story continues. Michael makes Mya life miserable and she talks so much crap about him it’s hysterical. In true romance novel fashion, these to have to have a breaking/turning point and trust me waiting for that moment was 100% worth it.

Naughty Boss is the perfect novella! It’s sexy and fun, but also had these sweet and charming moments. I loved seeing the real side of Michael and reading his point of view really added so much value and understanding to the story. I absolutely recommend Naughty Boss when you are looking for a fun read during these stressful holidays or anytime really.

Whitney G.'s specialty is writing declicious a$$holes, who you only can fall for once they are brought to their knees.

Mya applies for the job of an Executive Assistant at Leighton Publishing and is being hired. She would love this job if it wasn't for her arrogant boss who signs his emails with "You're Welcome" instead of "Thank you". The way he treats her makes it unbearable to keep working for him but once in a while she sees a flicker in his eyes...

When I was finished talking, he stared at me— giving me a familiar look he gave me from time to time. One I still had yet to figure out. It was a cross between the way he looked in my fantasies when he was burying his head between my thighs, and when he was asking me to stay late after work. A look that said he may not be as horrible of a boss I often made him out to be.

On one of her more unpleasant days with him she vents about him in an email to her best friend. Only, it lands in Michael's mailbox.

Michael Leighton is a demanding boss. The reason why he makes his assistant's life hell isn't the one she thinks it is though. His attraction to her is undesirable but when he realizes that he might lose his assistant he feels the need to act.

It was never personal, and never because she was awful. She was actually the smartest woman I’d ever met, the best executive assistant I’d ever hired, but her unfortunate flaw was being sexy as fuck. Beyond sexy as fuck.

This was a fun romp and a really quick read. It was so satisfying to see Michael brought down. The banter was witty and holy sh*t, Whitney G. knows how to write a steamy scene. This could have been a full length novel with more depth and details but honestly, if you are in the mood for a quick steamy read this is perfect.

This was a super fun, sweet, fast read. I enjoyed every second. But it left me wanting more, it's very short, even for a novella. When it got interesting, it suddenly ended. It also ends at 69% which I don't appreciate.

Whitney G.’s books always put a smile on my face, and Naughty Boss is no different. It’s a classic enemies to lovers boss/employee novella with a fantastic setup.

Michael is the owner of a publishing company as well as a playboy known for his shocking tabloid worthy sexual escapades. Mya is his super competent executive assistant. He might be a drop-dead gorgeous boss that she fantasizes about, but he’s unreasonably demanding, rude and condescending. Mya’s vents her frustrations in an email intended for her BFF, but it’s accidentally sent to Michael instead. Let the games begin!

There’s an enjoyable build-up of sexual tension, which is surprising for a novella. The banter is fantastic, the bedroom scenes are uber-steamy, and the hero is well versed in dirty talking—signature Whitney G. all the way.

The book falls shy of five stars for me because the ending feels very abrupt and a major conflict is wrapped up in just a few pages. An extra chapter could have improved the pacing, but then again I’m a greedy reader and this is a novella after all. The epilogue is really cute though and takes the sting out of any lingering disappointment.

Naughty Boss screams fun from beginning to end and makes a great quickie if you’re in the mood for a good dose of comedy with your erotica.

I can't say it enough, but if you haven't read anything by Whitney G. make sure you do so as soon as possible. This lady is phenomenal! She continues to have me sitting on the edge of my seat, with her sexy romances.
Michael was a huge asshole. He was awful to his assistant, Mya. She had to endure all his garbage he sent her way and to tolerate all his absurd demands. He was arrogant, rude, self-centered and demanding.
Oh, how I love couples-to-be who seem to hate each other but deep down are perfect and totally compatible. Michael was difficult to like in the beginning. But like many Alpha males, I slowly grew to love him, just like Mya!
The sex scenes were gloriously explicit and hot enough to make you sweat.
The ideal blend of romance, humor, angst, and spice!
As I said, I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of rudeness, a bit of naughtiness, and a lot of teasing.

In short:
