Picked up this book at the library because it's new and I wanted to see why Stilton's books are so popular with the kids at the school library. It was a fun read and apart from their predictable depiction of the "evil feline", I think I understand this series' appeal. :)

My 5 yo son likes this as a read aloud. I didn't hate it or did I particularly like reading it to him. I guess there's worse out there, no potty humor or anything bad. I won't be going out of my way to get more of the series.

It was good. Nothing stood out for me but I grew up with Stilton books and as a teen I HIGHLY recommended Stilton books. They are really fun for the kids.
