Thorough overview of Turkey: a fairly detailed history, the customs and practices, the life of the people... Well done, though perhaps some additional maps might have been helpful for the discussion of the country's geographical regions and features -- and color illustrations never go amiss!

برای آشنایی با کشور ترکیه کتاب خوبیه، کتابیه که به زبون ساده، سعی کرده تاریخ، جغرافیا، و اوضاع سیاسی و اجتماعی ترکیه رو به طور مختصر شرح بده. هر چند که دو فصل اول که در مورد تاریخ و جغرافیای ترکیه ست، بسیار مختصر هستش، ولی از فصل سه که در مورد جمهوری و سپس مسایل اجتماعی و فرهنگی ترکیه صحبت میکنه، میشه به جزئیات جالبی در مورد ترکیه پی برد.
فکر کنم بقیه کتابهای این مجموعه کتابهای ملل هم به همین شیوه باشه ، یعنی در مورد مسایل اجتماعی و فرهنگی توضیحاتش بهتر باشه، چون مشخص هستش که نویسنده در این مسایل دانش بیشتری داره.
