This set has stories from some of my favorite authors- Blake, Kimelman and Neal and after reading the book, I will be adding Deleon, Konkoly, Lyons and Reid. It is action packed, full on good writing. The characters are strong and the story lines are tight. I will be adding the sequels to my reading list. So here goes. Jet by Russell Blake- Jet is a woman like no other. Fueled by a violent past, she rose to the top of the ranks in a covert assassins group. That was her past; now living on a quiet Caribbean island, her past and present collide forcing her into a fight for her life and the lives of those she left behind. Fast paced, clean action- a great read. Trouble in Mudbug by Jana DeLeon is a crazy good story- set in a small bayou town with a character list that rivals Miss Congeniality meets the Ya Ya Sisterhood. Throw in an assassin that can kill with a tic tac, some alligators, a missing millionaire, some crazy twists and you have a couple of hours of great entertainment. Unleashed by Emily Kimelman Joy Humbolt is just your average NY dog walker till she breaks up with her boyfriend, adopts a wolf dog, finds a dead body and her life takes a completely different turn- she becomes a woman on a mission in a combat for her life. Well written, gritty in a good way. The Perseid Collapse by Steven Konkoly The Fletcher family has survived a pandemic and life is just getting back to normal until a cataclysmic event the plunges the US into darkness and blankets New England in a tsunami. Their only hope is to make their way to a hidden family compound but first they need to get through crazed militia, gangs and the military. Great story, full of action, determination and sheer courage. Well written. Chasing Shadows by CJ Lyons Chase Westin, former marine with career ending injury and no place to go, finds himself in covert ops, the Special Threats Response Group playing a disgraced Marine. His mission is to stop a massive arms and weapons exchange that will lead him back to his hometown and put his teenaged brother in the line of fire. No one he meets is who they portray to be- with bullets flying and lives on the line- there is no on to trust. This story is full of twists and action. Blood Orchids by Toby Neal Lei Texiera rookie cop and her partner Pono stumble on a double murder in Hawaii. Lei finds herself in crosshairs of a dangerous stalker while trying to find the killer. Driven to escape the ghosts of her past, Lei throws herself into her investigations into her past, her present, the murders and it all leads her and everyone around her into danger. Gritty, gutsy and a good read. Loose Ends by Terri Reid Mary O'Reilly is private investigator who can communicate with the dead. After being asked to investigate a ghost, she uncovers a link to several other murders. This unfortunate find puts her own life in danger and into the sites of Bradley. Part mystery, romance and thriller with a wicked sense of humor this story is another good ready.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!

This is a compilation of 7 Thrillers. Each of the Thrillers is the writer's first book in a series that launched a Kindle World. This book will grab your attention and keep you up late at night reading from the first page of Russell Blake's "Jet" to the last page of Terri Reid's "Loose Ends." The Authors and their books that are included in this collection are: Russell Blake's "Jet," from the Jet Series, Jana DeLeon's "Louisiana Longshot," from the Miss Fortune Series, Emily Kimelmen's "Unleashed" from her Sydney Rye Series, Steven Konkoly's "The Perseid Collapse" from the Perseid Collapse Series, CJ Lyons' "Chasing Shadows" from the Shadow Ops Series, Toby Neal's "Blood Orchids" from the Lei Crime Series and Terri Reid's "Loose Ends" from the Mary O'Reilly Series. Each Author approaches their craft differently, but each achieves great success in engaging their readers with intriguing plots, excellent character development, and in many instances beautiful, enticing locations. Though the Authors differ in the way they choose to approach their "Kills, Chills & Thrills" they have each managed to find quite an audience to read them and also had the opportunity to have Kindle Worlds join them. Before I read this book, I had heard of all but two of the Authors. I am very familiar with two Authors & own all of their series & several of the books in their Kindle World. As I stated previously, all the Authors had a different approach & some appealed to me more than others. I found new Authors to follow & that's always an excellent thing! This collection definitely lives up to its name!

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review. I am normally not a fan of boxed sets. Not sure why, but my brain just works that way. However, this set is incredible. First, all profits will be donated to Read Aloud America--to promote family literacy. Second, it includes authors I am already a fan of. Plus, a few new ones that I very much enjoyed reading. Third, it is a great mix of thrillers, cozy and solid characters. This is a very solid compilation.
